This study was designed to elucidate the anti-inflammatory, cardiovascular, anti-thrombotic and analgesic effects of Shintongchugeotang. The anti-inflammatory effect was measured by the method of carragenin induced edema, protein leakage test using CMC-pouch, and the analgesic effect was measured by the acetic acid method and hot plate method, and the effect of Shintongchugeotang on the cardiovascular system was observed by the change of flow rate of Ringer solution in the vascular system in the ear of rabbit, and the contraction and dilatation of rat tail artery. Death rate, platelet aggregation, plasma coagulation activity was observed for the measurement of the anti-coagurative effect of Shintongchugeotang. The result was as follows : 1. After the administration of Shintongchugeotang extract, Carragenin induced edema and CMC-pouch protein leakage were significantly decreased. 2. The slight analgesic effect of Shintongchugeotang extract was confirmed by the observation of writhing syndrome, paw licking time, and escape time. 3. The drug increased the auricular blood flow in rabbit. 4. The drug relaxed the artery contraction by pretreated norepinephrine in rat. 5. The drug inhibited the death rate of mouse which was led to thromboembolism by serotonin and collagen. 6. The drug inhibited the platelet aggregation in rat. 7. The drug prolonged the prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time on the test of plasma coagulation factor activity in rat, but was not valuable.
${\alpha}$-아미노카프르산의 Micelle 형성을 위한 한계농도에 관하여

The critical concentrations of ${\alpha}$-amino capric acid for micelle formation have been determined by the surface tension measurements in both acidic and alkaline solutions, and also by the dye titration using Rhodamine B in alkaline solutions. The critical micelle concentrations obtained by the two methods show the good agreements within experimental errors. Since ${\alpha}$-amino acid is an ampholyte, it may aggregate to form the micelles in both more acidic and basic media than its isoelectric point. It is found that the basic media are rather preferable for the micelle formation than the acidic media. The effect of gegen ions upon the critical concentration for micelle formation in alkaline media is similar to that expected from the salt effect on the CMC (Critical Micelle Concentration).
황산화균 Acidithiobacillus thiooxidans를 이용한 Boleo 저품위 산화동광 내 구리 및 망간의 동시추출 연구

Simultaneous bioleaching of Cu and Mn from Boleo low-grade Cu oxide ore was investigated using a sulfur-oxidizing bacterium Acidithiobacillus thiooxidans. The amounts of Cu and Mn were 2~3% in the ore as phosphates, silicates, and oxides. A. thiooxidans leached Cu with less amount of Mn in fresh culture medium. Increase of inoculated bacterial cells or addition of yeast extract to the culture medium increased the amounts of Cu and Mn extracted from the ore. Extracted Mn existed dominantly as colloidal suspensions rather than dissolved phase. When bacterial culture incubated for one month was applied to the ore with medium, the lowest pH appeared and the extraction efficiency of dissolved Cu and Mn was significantly enhanced. Such enhancement was attributed to bacterial metabolism instead of chemical composition of culture medium itself. The results indicated that bioleaching may be efficiently applied to lixiviate Cu and Mn simultaneously from Boleo Cu oxide ore. 황산화균인 Acidithiobacillus thiooxidans를 이용한 미생물학적 용출법을 적용시켜 Boleo 저품위 산화동광 내 구리와 망간의 동시추출이 가능한지 확인하였다. 산화동광 내 구리와 망간은 각 2~3% 존재하며 광물형태는 주로 인산염, 규산염, 산화광물 형태였다. 신선한 배양액 내에서 A. thiooxidans는 산화동광에서 구리를용출시켰으나 망간 용출량은 낮았다. 투입하는 미생물 수를 증가시키거나 효모추출물을 첨가한 결과 구리와망간 용출량이 다소 증가하였으며 효모추출물 첨가 시 높은 효율을 보였다. 용출된 망간은 용존 상태보다 콜로이드 상태로 존재하였다. A. thiooxidans를 한 달간 배양한 배양액을 산화동광에 적용한 결과 가장 낮은 pH를 보였으며 구리뿐만 아니라 용존 상태 망간의 용출효율도 대폭 증가하였다. 이 효율 증진은 배양액의 화학적 조성보다배양액 내 A. thiooxidans의 대사작용에 기인하였다. 이러한 결과는 Boleo의 저품위 산화동광으로부터 구리 및망간을 동시 추출하는 데 있어 미생물학적 용출법이 적용 가능함을 나타내는 것이다.

이성분 용액에 대한 천이상태 이론의 적용 방법을 재고찰하여 이론적 보충을 하여주었으며, 이 새로운 방법에 따라서 $C_6H_{12}-CCl_4$계의 열역학적 성질들을 계산하였다. 또한 전의 방법에 따라서 계산된 $C_6H_6-C_6H_{12}$ 및 $C_6H_6-CCl_4$계의 열역학적 성질들도 재계산하였다. 이 방법에 따라서 계산된 열역학적 성질들을 측정치와 대단히 잘 맞는다.
