        한국 치위생(학)과의 교육과정 개편 방향에 대한 요구도

        Objectives: The purpose of the study was to examined the demand for the change in Korean dental hygiene curriculum. This study compared the dental hygiene curriculum of domestic and overseas university and tired to provide the basic data for the development of standard curriculum that meets the education policy changes. Methods: Data were obtained from a cross-sectional survey of 1,192 participants including dental hygiene professors, dental hygienists and students. Data were collected by mail, telephone call from the professors and research assistants, email, and direct visit from June 10 to August 10, 2013. The questionnaire consisted of 4 questions of general characteristics of the subjects and 13 questions of dental hygiene curriculum. Results: The professors answered the development of integrated dental hygiene curriculum as the first priority(48.9%) and dental hygienists(51.6%) and students(42.6%) chose the development of new dental hygiene curriculum(p<0.001). In the analysis of validity of dental hygiene curriculum, the professors gave 3.29 to the validity of evaluation for basic job performance, and the clinical dental hygienists and the students gave 3.05 and 3.26 points, respectively(p<0.001). In relation to the necessity of the change of the dental hygiene curriculums, the professors gave 4.17 points which implied that curriculum change is the most important and necessary thing to do. The clinical dental hygienists and the students gave 3.90 and 3.47 points, respectively(p<0.001). Conclusions: The above-mentioned findings suggest that the revision of the current Korean dental hygiene curriculums is required. Therefore organizations related to dental hygiene including professor association and Korean Dental Hygienists Association should carefully rebuild the curriculum to improve the competency of dental hygienists. They should take the initiative in the development of a standardized curriculum.

        한국 치위생(학)과 표준교육과정안 개발

        Objectives: In order to make a proposal of a Korean standard dental hygiene curriculum, the job description of the National Health Personnel Licensing Examination Board was analyzed to prepare a job analysis matrix of dental hygienist to select required core competency. Methods: Data were analyzed to test the job validity of dental hygienist and categorize the duties of dental hygienist. A proposal of a standard dental hygiene curriculum was mapped out by making a comparative analysis of the courses necessary for American authorization of dental hygiene curriculum, existing proposals of Korean standard dental hygiene curriculum and the courses of the departments of dental hygiene offered by domestic three-year colleges and four-year universities. Results: Basic medicine courses were reinforced or newly offered to provide an opportunity for students to transfer to a domestic four-year university or to a foreign university. In the field of clinical dental hygiene and practice, preventive dentistry, prophylaxis and practice were integrated, and the names of the related courses were unified to give a chance for students to engage in comprehensive dental hygiene practice. There were different courses for dental clinical science at present. In this proposal, students should earn 125 credits in total. Conclusions: Standard dental hygiene curriculum proposal was required by three-year and four-year colleges across the nation. To make it happen, the original names of dental hygiene courses should be used, and the dental hygiene certification and evaluation institute that is under the umbrella of the Korean Dental Hygienists Association should lay out the standard of the KSDHEP to facilitate the utilization of the standard dental hygiene curriculum proposal.

        기본심폐소생술 교육에 대한 보건계열 대학생의 지식과 태도에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 2019년 9월부터 10월까지 심폐소생술 교육경험이 있는 전국의 보건계열 학생 529명을 대상으로 일반적인 특성과 심폐소생술의 지식 정도, 인지도, 술기, 태도 등을 조사하기 위하여 자기입식 설문지를 조사하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 심폐소생술의 인지도는 학년별로 3학년이 18.09±2.30으로 가장 높고, 1학년이 17.84±2.25로 가장 낮게 조사되었다. 심폐소생술의 술기는 학년별로는 응급구조과 학생이 10.39±4.56으로 가장 높게 나타났고 다음으로 임상병리과, 치위생과 순으로 나타났다. 성별, 학년, 학과별로 분석한 심폐소생술의 지식과 태도와의 관련성을 분석한 결과 심폐소생술 인지와 심폐소생술의 태도에는 통계적으로 유의미한 양의 관련성으로 나타내고 있었다(p〈0.001). 앞으로 보건계열대학에서는 학교마다 다르게 운영되고 있는 심폐소생술교육의 표준화된 교육을 제시하고 교육할 필요가 있다고 판단된다. In this study, a self-administered questionnaire survey had been conducted from Sep. to Oct. 2019 with 529 health related students in the nation who experienced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) education, in order to find their general characteristics, and their knowledge, perception, performance and attitude of CPR. Method: Frequency and t-test, ANOVA was performed using IBM SPSS, and were conducted according to the need for health-related in order to determine the determinants of the students. Result: Regarding their perception of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, third-year students had the highest score, or 18.09±2.30, and first-year students had the lowest, or 17.84±2.25. Regarding their performance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, students majoring in emergency rescue had the highest score, or 10.39±4.56, followed by students majoring in clinical pathology and students majoring in dental hygienics. The relation between their knowledge of CPR and their attitude toward CPR was analyzed according to their sex, school year, and department. As a result, there was a statistically significant positive relation between their perception and attitude (p〈0.001). Conclusions: It is judged that universities with health related need to suggest and provide standardized education of CPR which is educated differently in each school at present.

        치위생학 임상실습교육 현황 분석

        Objectives: The purpose of the study was to review the current status of clinical practice and training in dental hygiene in hospitals and clinics for the students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 80 dental hospitals and clinics from August 8 to September 12, 2016. Except incomplete answers, 211 copies were retrieved and analyzed. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects (6 items), present condition of clinical education (7 items), support policy and facilities (8 items), teaching personnel (6 items), improvement direction (3 items), and general considerations (3 items). Results: The annual practice time for students was 8.4 weeks. The average number of students per each practice institution was 5.95. The evaluation of the clinical practice period was rated as `average` by 55.3% of the respondents, while 65.4% preferred the current duration of the practice. Meanwhile, 33.0% of the respondents wanted to increase the practice period. In clinical training education support, 62.3% of the hospitals had a person in charge, 79.2% of the hospitals and clinics had a operative procedure, appointed staff and a department for student practice. But 86.5% of the hospitals did not have standards for the budget for practice and instruction fee. In the personnel for clinical training, 52.6% said they were dental hygienists. In 87.1%, the practice instruction conducted by professors was done through communication with the hospital or clinic, while the man-to-man practice instruction was 8.6%. Conclusions: It is necessary to improve the process and operation method of dental hygiene clinical training. In order to make clinical training meet education goals, a standardized set of criteria is needed to support training education and guidelines for instructors and students.

        한국과 미국의 치위생학과 교육과정 운영실태

        Objectives: The purpose of this study is to train talents with high quality in dental hygienists by suggesting problems and proposing basic data available for applying to development in dental hygiene curriculum, through analyzing contents of dental hygiene curriculum. Methods: To analyze curriculum of educational institutions for dental hygienists between America and Korea, it utilized materials that were notified on each university homepage, analyzed documents, analyzed curricular content analysis, comparatively analyzed America`s ASDHEP field, and comparatively analyzed Biomedical Science field, dentistry field, prevention and public field, clinical dental hygiene field, integrated curriculum, and teaching course between domestic university and American university. Results: 1. The basic field of ASDHEP was indicated the average credit in 28.6 for 4-year university with establishment and the average credit in 26.9 for 3-year university with establishment. The curricular subject field of ASDHEP except the basic field was indicated the average credit in 29.45 for 4-year university with establishment and the average credit in 30.68 for 3-year university with establishment. The prevention and public field by university was indicated the totally average credit in 27.5 for 4-year university and in 26.2 for 3-year university. The clinical dental hygiene field by university was indicated the totally average credit in 27.5 for 4-year university and in 35.0 for 3-year university. The integrated curriculum was indicated to be established dental hygiene practice(3 universities), dental clinics practice for Dept. of clinical dental hygiene(2 universities), and comprehensive dental hygiene practice(1 university) for 4-year university, and to be established clinical dental hygiene(2 universities), comprehensive dental hygiene practice, dental hygiene practice, and dental clinics practice(1 university, respectively) for 3-year university. Comparing the teaching courses by university, they were established diversely from 8 credits to 2 credits. Conclusions: Seeing the above findings, a plan for dental hygiene curriculum needs to be continuously developed so that dental hygienists can enter upon a professional career. Development in the international standard curriculum proper for global era is considered to be desperately needed.

        국내 치위생(학)과의 교양교육과정 비교

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to compare the liberal arts curricula of domestic 3 year and 4 year dental hygiene departments and to obtain the basic data for the development of a standardized dental hygiene curriculum. Methods: The liberal arts curricula of fifteen 3 year and 4 year dental hygiene departments in Korea and other countries were analyzed. A survey was conducted on 801 selected dental hygiene majors from December 8 to 12, 2014. A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 750 dental hygiene students and 150 dental hygiene professors. The questionnaire consisted of 5 questions of general characteristics and 13 questions including curricula change, usability of curricula, awareness of the suitability of dental hygiene curricula, and validity of curricula. Cronbach’a alpha was 0.71 in this study. Results: The grade point average in the liberal arts courses in Korean 4 year dental hygiene departments were 29, which was higher than that in 3 year dental hygiene departments of 13.2. There were large disparities among the colleges in the credits of these courses. The most common liberal arts courses in 4 year dental hygiene departments were foreign languages, man, society and communication, and natural science. In 3 year dental hygiene departments, English and foreign languages were the most common courses, followed by computer, man and society, philosophy and ethics. Foreign languages were considered to be the liberal arts course that should be most strengthened according to the job environment change of dental hygienist in globalizing society, followed by social psychology and pedagogy. Conclusions: Liberal arts courses were offered in the 4 year dental hygiene departments than in the 3 year dental hygiene departments in Korea, but there were a great deal of differences between colleges. The preparation of standardized guidelines on liberal arts courses are necessary. Liberal arts courses should support the performance skill and knowledge of the dental hygienists.

        소수분주비를 갖는 광대역 가변 능동 주파수 분주기 마이크로파 집적 회로

        마이크로파 광대역 능동 주파수 분주기는 가변 위상 변환기(tunable polyphase filter)와 가변 영상 주파수 제거 혼합기(tunable image-rejection mixer)를 연결한 것에 정적 이분 주기(static divide-by-2)를 궤환 경로로 연결하여 구성하였다. 출력에서 원하지 않는 불요파 신호를 영상주파수 제거 혼합기와 가변 위상 변환기를 조정함으로써 넓은 주파수 영역에서 제거할 수 있었다. GaInP/GaAs HBT 공정을 이용하여 설계된 1.5 분주비를 갖는 주파수 분주 회로는 4.5 GHz에서 9.2 GHz의 광대역 입력 주파수 영역에서 동작하였으며, $1/3{\times}f_{in}$과 $f_{in}$ 불요파 성분이 모두 -20 dBc 이하로 억제되었다. 소모 전력은 4.1 V에서 29 mA이다. A semidynamic frequency divide-by-1.5 MMIC comprises a tunable polyphase filter, tunable image-rejection mixer, and a static divide-by-2 in the feedback path. Wideband suppression of unwanted tones is achieved by employing a tunable image-rejection mixer and a tunable single-stage polyphase filter. Implemented in GaInP/GaAs HBT technology, the divide-by-1.5 MMIC operates over the input frequency range of 4.5 to 9.2 GHz with better than -20 dBc suppressions of $1/3{\times}f_{in}\;and\;f_{in}$ tones, while dissipating 29 mA from 4.1 V supply.

        한국치위생학회지 게재논문(창간호~2015년)의 연구동향 분석

        Objectives: The purpose of study is to investigate trends in dental hygiene research published in the Journal of Korean Society Dental Hygiene. Methods:Total of 992 researches were published between 2001 to 2015 were reviewed using analysis criteria. Results: 23.7% of the researches were supported financially. The most frequent research topics were oral health (40.9%). 3 to 5 researchers per research (38.5%) was most common and 84.1% of principal researchers were professors. 29 researchers were approved by IRB (2011 to 2015). As for the type of research, 87.1% of quantitative studies adapted survey and 9.5% adapted experiment. Convenient sampling was used in 85.6% of the researches. 32.7% of studies searched information in school. Interventions of dental material were the most in pre experimental design (19.2%) and Interventions of activation of oral health program were the most in quasi experimental design (37.5%). Conclusions: The findings of this study suggested the recent trends and the direction in dental hygiene research.

        일부 직장인의 구강건강상식 및 스케일링에 대한 인식도

        Objectives : This study was to investigate into company workers` oral scaling related factors and enhance a rate of oral scaling. Methods : From August 2010, self-administered questionnaires of the about general question items, oral health relation factors, knowledge of periodontal disease for oral scaling performed, in 267 people worker objects. Results : The followings are the findingd of this research. First, Oral scaling experiences were responded by 205 people(76.8%). Among those prevention the case which enforces with a goal periodically 6 month period 7.3% and the period of 1 years is 28.8%, be most inconvenient is cold(50.7%), with motive is dentistry visits inducement for tooth therapy which 51.2%. Non experience in oral scaling was responded by 62 people(23.2%), 45.2% of whom answered they had no necessity for such treatment. Second, Knowledge of periodontal disease is ``dental calculus and stain loses toothbrush quality did eagerly`` incorrect one right answer ratio is highest with 86.5%, ``Becoming the adult being made to draw out tooth is periodontitis than decay`` was incorrect one right answer rate was lowest with 62.9%. Third, The workers` sex, service field, one month average income, Currently the oral inconvenient presence, oral health Interest degree, tooth brushing method, knowledge of periodontitis have a significant effect on their oral scaling experience. Conclusions : When seeing with result of above, it is necessary of the oral scaling widely with the method which is various includes a mass communication by causing the changes in the perception of oral scaling. The dental hygienist is inconvenience from oral scaling experience have interest when is possible the patient comfortably, in order could be operated, endeavors demanded.
