In towed array passive sonar system, sonar operators cannot detect and track the all targets simultaneously in the omni-directional area by just Operator Initiated Tracking(OIT). In this paper, omni-directional automatic target detection and tracking algorithm is described and optimize the parameters through ocean data to overcome the drawbacks of OITs. The algorithm is verified through sea trials with submarines.
닭의 호흡기성(呼吸器性) Mycoplasma 균병(菌柄)에 대한 Furamizole 의 예방시험(豫防試驗)

A number of chemotherapeutic agents, namely antibiotics, sulfonamides and nitrofuran derivatives have been used, as a fred additive, for the purposes of growth improvement of chicken, increase of feed efficiency, decrease of animal mortality, and disease prevention. In these experiments, furamizole which is one of nitrofuran derivatives and feed additive was test, in field, its antibacterial activity against Mycoplasma gallisepticum causing air sac disease, its effect on pullorum disease control, its effect on the lowering the mortality of chicken and finally the increase of feed efficiency. Throughout the studies, furamizole, in concentration of 0.025% in feed fed to baby chicken continuously resulted as following: 1. Tested chicken showed no avian mycoplasma infection compared to 3.7% outbreak in control chicken. 2. Tested chicken showed a low degree of outbreak of pullorum disease. However, its outbreak was much more surpresed compared to that of control chicken. 3. Total mortality rate of 5.5% and 30.8% were obtained in test and control chicken respectively. 4. Feed efficiency were 2.83 and 2.97 in test and control chicken respectively.
빔폭에 대한 방위각 오차 분석 및 이를 고려한 융합추적필터

Sonar system detects target informations using multiple sensors, and fuses the informations to get the more trustworthy target information than that of each sensor. For improving the performance of fusion tracking system, it is exactly analyzed the probabilistic characteristics of the estimated information of each sensor. In this paper we analyze the bearing estimation error according to beamwidth of line array sensor and cylindrical sensor, and then propose a bearing tracking filter taking into account it. Cylindrical array represents equal characteristics of bearing error, but line array sensor represents different characteristics because of different beam width to steered beam direction. And we verify that the tracking and fusion performance is improved by using the calculated probabilistic covariance of bearing estimation error.

In underwater acoustic environment, distributed structure fusion techniques is generally used to fuse the tracking informations of multiple sonar sensors. MAP fusion techniques have a good performance because of using a priori information of target tracks, but they have a serious drawback which cause the filter to diverge, because of high order dimension and usage of unexact cross-covariance matrix of sensor tracks. Simple convex combination technique has a robust structure which fuses the sensor tracks according to their probabilistic variance. In this paper we propose a sequential MAP fusion technique which carry out the fusion process by 2 step. First sensor track is fused with the current target track, and then the result is fused with the other sensor track. Hence the proposed filter shows robust performance because it has lower order dimension and does not use the cross-covariance matrix, maintaining the similar performance of the conventional MAP.
해저 지형 정보를 이용한 다중 상태 소나의 표적 위치 측정

본 논문에서는 사전에 알고 있는 해저 지형정보를 이용하여 송수신기의 위치와 해저 음속의 정확성을 향상시켜 탐지 범위에 따른 오차에 강인한 위치 측정 알고리듬과 최적의 수신기 개수를 제안하고자 한다. 송수신기 위치, 음속정보의 정확도는 표적 위치 측정의 성능에 영향을 미치며, 송수신기는 GPS를 통해 위치 정보를 얻는다. 그러나 GPS 오차에 의해 여전히 오차를 가지고 있으며, 음속 정보는 수온을 포함한 다양한 요인들에 의해 영향을 받는다. 먼저 송수신기 위치 오차, 음속 오차의 영향을 수학적으로 분석하고 해저 지형 정보를 이용하여 오차를 줄일 수 있는 방법을 확인한다. 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통하여 기존의 알고리듬과 제안된 기법의 성능을 비교 평가하고, 탐지 범위에 따른 최적의 수신기 개수를 확인한다. This paper proposes a robust localization algorithm and optimal number of receivers considering the detection range of underwater targets. The accuracies of the source position, receiver position and sound velocity are improved using the known positions of underwater objects. The accuracies of these parameters influences the performance of the target localization error. Although the source and receiver positions are obtained by the global positioning system (GPS), there are still positional errors due to GPS and variations in sea temperature. First, the influence of those errors are analyzed mathematically and an algorithm is improved to improve the accuracies of source position, receiver position and sound velocity by using geographic points. The performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated in comparison with the conventional algorithm by computer simulations.
근접 센서의 방위정보를 이용한 수중표적 예상위치 추정 기법

Proximity sensor networks are aimed at estimation kinematic state of target using estimated position of the target by each sensor node or target parameter. To analyze the kinematic state of target, traditional approaches require detections on multiple sensors, very large number of sensors to achieve acceptable performance. In this paper, we propose a novel method which can estimate predicted position of the underwater target using minimum proximity sensor with bearing information to this problem. The proposed algorithm was verified performance through simulation.
