진행성 골화성 근염은 매우 드물게 보는 유전성 질환으로서 선천성 족무지 기형과 근막, 건막, 건, 인대 및 골격근육의 간질조직내 결체조직의 부종, 석회화를 거쳐 진행성으로 골화를 일으킴을 특징으로 하는 질환이다. 본 질환은 근본적으로 골격근 자체는 정상이나 근본 병리결함이 결체조직에 발생함으로 종래 사용하던 병명인 '진행성 골화성 근염' 대신 '진행성 골화성 섬유이형성증'이라 칭하는 것이 합당하다고 주장되고 있다. 저자는 최근 일가족 남매에 발생한 진행성 골화성 근염 2예를 경험하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Myositis ossificans progressiva, also known as 'fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva' is a rare disorder, most probably inherited as a mendelian dominant trait with irregular penetrance. It is characterized by congenital malformations of the great toes and progressive edema, calcification and ossification of the fasciae, aponeurosis, ligaments, tendons, and connective tissue in interstitial tissues of skeletal muscle. The basic defect is in the connective tissue, whereas the skeletal muscle remains fundamentally normal. We report two cases of a brother and sister whose the disorder is involved in a same family.
마모기로 분쇄한 Reject Ash를 활용한 고강도 모르타르의 품질특성

As coal fly ash emissions have increased due to additional constructions of domestic heat power plants, the amount of embedded reject ash (Rj henceforth) is increasing as well. Most Rj is embedded, so if it is used as an alternative admixture instead of cement, embedded quantities will decrease, leading to economic and environmentally positive effects. Therefore this study conducted an experiment to contemplate the usability of Rj ground in the Los Angeles abraser, and what effects ground Rj has on the engineering properties of high compressive strength mortar. The result was that as the number of grinding turns increased, liquidity, air quantity and intensity were improved, proving Rj a possible alternative admixture to cement.

Purpose: To investigate the results of surgical treatment of the symptomatic accessory navicular in adolescent. Materials and Methods: 11 patients who were 11-16 years old with symptomatic accessory navicular were identified between 2001 and 2009. Six cases were diagnosed after trauma and 8 cases were diagnosed by accident with painful bony protrusion on medial aspect of foot. In cases after at least 3 months of ineffective conservative treatment, patients were treated by resection of accessory navicular and reattachment of tibialis posterior tendon to the apex of the medial longitudinal arch using periosteum and ligamentous soft tissue without transposition of its course. And then short leg cast was applied for correction of the flat foot (if it is combined) which was molded into the longitudinal arch with the talonavicular joint released and foot inverted during about 6 weeks. Results: All were type II accessory navicular without tibialis posterior tendon lesions. In most cases pain was improved, results were excellent in seven and good in four. Calcaneal pitch angle and talus-first metatarsal angle was improved about $4.64^{\circ}$ and $5.79^{\circ}$ in average. Conclusion: Symptomatic accessory navicular in adolescent might not be associated with the tibialis posterior tendon lesions. The surgical treatment composed of excision of the accessory navicular with simple replication of the tibialis posterior tendon without altering its course led to good results in most cases. The procedure has a low rate of complications. And it is easy to be performed with a good satisfaction.

We reviewed fifteen cases of primary bone tumor which involved the periacetabular region. Histologically confirmed diagnosis of the tumors included four osteosarcomas. four chondroblastomas. three eosinophilic granulomas, two aneurysmal bone cysts and two osteochondromas. The tumors could be characterized by their sites of involvement: the majority of benign lesions occurred at the superior or superomedial aspect of the acetabulum and grow out mainly toward the body of ilium, while the malignant tumors generally involved the ischiopubic region and extended to the anteromedial or inferior acetabulum. The results of treatment for the benign lesions were satisfactory after intralesional curettage or marginal resection. but for the malignant tumors the diagnosis were frequently delayed and their prognosis were poor.

The objective of this paper is to offer the feasibility of premixed type ternary blended aggregates using reject ash(RA), crushed sand(CS) and sea sand(SS) by studying fresh properties of the concrete. RA is varied from 2.5% to 10% with interval of 2.5% by weight of mixed aggregates. Test results indicates that the replacement of RA by mixed aggregates with low quality crushed sand and sea sand resulted in decrease of slump and air contents.
