This work introduces a new approach that classifies individual household water usage by examining the characteristics of smart meter end-user demand data. Here, one of the most well-known unsupervised machine learning, K-means algorithm, is applied to classify water consumptions by each household. The intensity and duration of end-user demands are used as main features to determine the households with similar water consumption pattern. The results showed that 21 households are classified into 13 clusters with each cluster having one, two, three, or five houses. The reasoning why multiple households are classified into the same cluster is described in this paper with respect to the collected data and end-user water consumption behavior.

Mobile robots can offer services like intelligent monitoring in an indoor environment using network connection with remote users. In this paper, we designed and developed a networked security robot system with various sensors, such as flame detector, gas detector, sound monitoring module, and temperature sensor, etc. The robot can be accessed through a web service and the user can check the status of the environment. Using ADAMS software, we defined the motor specification for a worst-case condition of climbing over a obstacle. We applied the robot system in monitoring office condition.

In this cluster analysis of out-patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) we described the psychological features and personality patterns of these patients. The Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) was administered to 29 IBS patients who received treatment in the gastroenterology department of Ajou University Hospital to produce individual profiles for each patient. The 29 profiles with 13 standard scales, 15 content scales and 11 personality scales were subjected to cluster analysis resulting in three clusters of the original sample. Titles used to describe the psychological features and personality patterns seen in the three clusters included : (1) depression and anxiety : (2) somatization and denial of affect ; (3) anger overcontrol. Future studies on the treatment of IBS patients may well consider these features, as IBS patients have different psychological patterns.

ROK issued its first type certificate to the KC-100 airplane, Part 23 normal category, and become the State of Design (SoD) in 2013. Before this, ROK aviation regulations were focused on the operation and continued airworthiness of aircraft registered and operated in ROK that were designed and manufactured in another contracting state. Therefore the implementation of reporting system were restricted to gather the failure and service difficulty reports from the owners or operators and transmit the information to the State of Design and/or the manufacture relating to the type certificated aircraft. However, ROK, to fulfill the accountability of the State of Design, has to ensure there is a system to address the information received from the State of Registry on failure, malfunctions, defects and other occurrences that might cause adverse effects on the continuing airworthiness of the korean type certificated aircraft. This paper presents an overview of ICAO requirements for the State of Design, and current implementation of reporting system of USA and Japan and discusses the current status and further considerations on the rule-making for the malfunction, defect and failure reporting system applicable to the korean indigenous aircraft.

The design of sealing mechanisms of a manual pressure valve was analyzed with FE analysis for a hydrogen fuels charge and discharge system of FCEV. The damage prediction of the O-ring with respect to the material models of rubbers was calculated by the gap analysis of the backup ring and O-ring according to the internal pressure. Two kinds of the rubber material characteristic models were adopted to the O-ring. One was the linear elastic and the other was hyperelastic of Ogden $3^{rd}$ order model. The experimental data of urethane of Shore hardness 90 was utilized to the curve fitting of hyperelastic properties. It was found that the contact pattern of the backup ring was different in two models and the sealing mechanism was better in the case of the hyperelastic characteristic model.

Since airborne viruses have been known to aggravate indoor air quality, studies on the development of anti-viral air filter increase recently. In this study, the pressure drop and anti-viral efficiency of TiO<sub>2</sub> coated ceramic ball filter were evaluated. After the filter being inserted into a commercial room air cleaner, chamber test with aerosolized bacteriophage MS2 was performed. The porosity of TiO<sub>2</sub> coated ceramic ball filter was 0.85, and pressure drop was about 13 Pa for 1 m/s of air velocity. The anti-viral efficiency was about 93% when the reaction time was 25 minutes in a 1 ㎥ chamber.
