Micro machining technologies have been required to satisfy various conditions in a high-technology industry. Micro electrochemical process is one of the most precision machining methods. Micro electrochemical process has been divided into electrochemical etching through protective layer and electrochemical machining using ultrashort voltage pulses. Micro shaft can be fabricated by electrochemical etching. The various protective layers such as photo-resist, oxide layer and oxidized recast layer have been used to protect metal surface during electrochemical etching. Micro patterning on metal surface can be machined by electrochemical etching through protective layer. Micro hole, groove and structures can be easily machined by electrochemical machining using ultrashort voltage pulses. Recently, the groove with subnanometer was machined using AFM.

A pterosarus is an ancient flying reptile and the first vertebrate with powered flight. The shapes of the pretosarus'airfoil in the published literature are reconstructed. The aerodynamics of the Pterosarus is obtained using a free software XFOIL. The steady aerodynamics of the Pterosarus' airfoil are investigated focusing on the gliding performance. The numerical results are validated by comparing the computed aerodynamic coefficients with the measured data. The secretes of the Pterosarus' highly camberred airfoil are elucidated by comparing the aerodynamics with that of the birds'.
태양전지와 LED 조명을 이용한 가정용식물공장 시스템 실증시험

Plant factory industry as a new agriculture is in the spotlight. In this paper, we experimented plant factory applied photovoltaic system and LED lighting. For growing the plant, red, blue and white LED were placed into 1:4:3. Electric power generated by the photovoltaic system was supplied on DC power supply instead of AC. The designed and experimented power generation amount per day of photovoltaic system were 2,860 Wh and 2,272 Wh respectively. Plant has not been grown at the dead space of LED lighting so it is required to array LED lighting.

The cold chain system in South-East Asia is requiring to maintain freshness of refrigerated or frozen food. In this study, Thermal storage system using Phase change material (PCM) was developed and evaluated its performance about temperature and cold keeping time. For various application of cold chain system, we developed portable cold box, cold roll container and freezing station. Keeping time on laboratory tests of portable cold box in case of refrigeration and freezing were 6 hours and 4 hours, respectively. Cold container was developed to 2.5 ton scale. Evaluation in Indonesia, it was showed to keep the setting temperature of $-10^{\circ}C$ over 40 hours at $30^{\circ}C$ of ambient air. Freezing station using PCM was kept over 24 hours under $-20^{\circ}C$.

In this paper, the present status of shale gas development was briefly introduced and intended the growing importance and shale gas as a source of chemicals. The large amounts of shale are expected to be produced thereby, a wealth of methane and ethane will be provided as a raw material of ethylene. This manuscript also focus on the influence of potential volumes of shale gas on petrochemical industry, especially domestic one based on naphtha cracking because ethane cracking can offer cost effective ways to convert methane to higher value chemicals.
열화상 카메라를 이용한 택견 동작의 온도 특성 분석 기초 연구

The purpose of this study is to visually confirm on variation of temperature changes according to the basic of Taekgyoen by using infrared rays camera and to obtain difference of temperature distribution according to the warm up procedure. We selected randomly two Taekgyeon players, and recorded twice continuously their actions of three basic motions of Taekgyeon. In other to obtain effect of warm up procedure, we recorded again their actions including warm-up motions. Four measuring points on the body were selected in each motion considering the error on continuous recoding. Temperature distributions of the before and after warming up procedure were analyzed at two measuring point. Temperature distributions of skin of players body in two cases are shown a similar tendency. It can be predicted that the parts of large physical movement result in the large changes of temperature according to the warm up motion.

This study was experimentally performed to show the growth characteristics of one specified plant with various liquids, which can be purchased easily. To do that, this study measured the number of leaves attached to the plant sample and the height of liquids everyday during almost 15 days on summer season in the laboratory room. From the experiments, we revealed that the remained number of leaves can be related with the liquid height.
진동하는 원통 비정상 공력해석을 위한 OpenFoam OverSet격자 활용

2차원 유동장내 수직 진동하는 원통의 Von Karman 와열 유동 현상에 대한 진동 주파수 계산 문제는 진동하는 물체의 비정상 공력 해석 연구 검증에 많이 사용하는 고전적 방법이다. 본 연구에서는 오픈소스 OpenFoam 기반의 중첩격자 기법을 사용하여 층류 유동장내의 수직방향 진동하는 원통 주변의 비정상 유동 현상과 원통 벽면에서의 공력 특성 변화를 해석하기 위한 일련의 해석 단계들과 결과를 타 연구그룹과 비교하였다. 원통 형상과 진동에 의한 와열 유동의 주기적 유동 특성과 복잡성 해석의 건전성을 확보하기 위하여 격자와 시간제어에 대한 해의 정확도에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 본 연구에서 수행한 해석 방법은 일관성과 신뢰성 있는 해석 결과들 보여주었으며, 향후 보다 실제적인 진동하는 에어 포일의 비정상 공력 해석 연구에 적용 가능함을 확인하였다.

As an effective separation method for biomolecules, aqueous two-phase systems based on ionic liquids were suggested. Hydrophobic ionic liquids are more expensive and viscous in spite of their usage in the ionic liquid/water biphasic extraction compared with hydrophilic ionic liquids. In case of aqueous two-phase systems using hydrophilic ionic liquids, they can be diluted in aqueous phase. Experimental results show that aqueous two phase systems can be formed by adding appropriate amount of ionic liquids to aqueous salts solutions. The viscosity of ionic liquid aqueous phase is proportional to the cation chain length in ionic liquids. It is founded that the ionic liquid based aqueous two phase systems are effective for the separation of biomolecules such as acrylic acid.
SI 열화학 수소 생산 공정의 분석을 위한 열역학 모델의 적용

The SI thermochemical cycle process accomplishes water splitting through distinctive three chemical reactions. We focused on thermodynamic models applicable to the process. Recently, remarkable models based on the assumed ionic species have been developed to describe highly nonideal behavior on the liquid phase reactions. ElecNRTL models with ionic reactions were proposed in order to provide reliable process simulation results for phase equilibrium calculations in Section II and III. In this study, the current thermodynamic models of SI thermochemical cycle process were briefly described and the calculation results of the applied ElecNRTL models for phase equilibrium calculations were illustrated for binary systems.
