        항공무기체계 운영의 PBL 성과분석에 관한 연구

        This paper forces on the analysis of the overall outcome regarding Performance Based Logistics(PBL) application for Air Weapon System. We used data from domestically developed aircraft such as KT/A-1 and T-50 as well as data from foreign F-15K aircraft and F100 Engine to analyze the current ROKAF PBL application results. Furthermore, this paper thus suggests various techniques to maximize the outcome of user-based PBL performance such as clarifying the responsibility between customer and the company, developing standardized PBL performance index under TLCSM, PBL related maintenance capacity development, wartime PBL implementation process of domestic/foreign companies and many other schemes based on the analyzed data.

        한국형전투기(KF-X)의 최적정비를 위한 PBL 적용방안에 관한 연구

        This paper deals with the Performance Based Logistics(PBL) application scheme pertaining to optimal maintenance program for logistics of Korean Fighter Experimental(KF-X) Project. For enhancement of the performance based logistics system application to KF-X program the selection of appropriate standards fit to maximize cost-cutting, a set of performance metrics fit for the purpose of the contract, foreign technology dependence of core equipments and parts were considered. Thus, selecting appropriate standards fit for Korean logistics environment, domestic maintenance enterprise for stable rate of operation of KF-X, a systematic reliability task that is able to measure quantitative combat capability are suggested.

        How Crucial can Cognitively Preferred Word Orders be for EFL Learners?

        The object of this study is to show how crucial the cognitively preferred word orders can be for EFL learners. For this, we took two steps. Firstly, in the L2-L1 translation process, the cognitively shared word orders were investigated by means of a questionnaire. Then, in the process that L1 written in these shared word orders was translated into L2, the response time (RT) of these shared orders was measured. The shortest RT of these was thought of as the most cognitively preferred word order, i.e. inter-cognitive mechanism. The results showed that participants overall preferred SV(O-clause) order to S(O-clause)V order as the cognitively preferred word orders. As a result, this study suggests that L2 input can be more effective for word order parameter resetting than L2 word order itself if it is based on the most cognitively preferred word order.

        Evolution of the Earth’s Magnetosphere Loaded with a Transiently Enhanced Ring Current

        We have investigated the dynamical evolution of the Earth’s magnetosphere loaded with a transiently enhanced ring current by numerical magnetohydrodynamic simulations. Two cases with different values of the initial ring current are considered. In one case, the initial ring current is strong enough to create a magnetic island in the magnetosphere. The magnetic island readily reconnects with the earth-connected ambient field and is destroyed as the system approaches a steady equilibrium. In the other case, the initial ring current is not so strong, and the initial magnetic field configuration bears no magnetic island, but a wake of bent field lines, which is to be smoothed out through the relaxing evolution of the magnetosphere. The relaxation time of the magnetosphere is found to be about five to six minutes, over which the ring current is reduced to about a quarter of its initial value. Before reaching a steady state, the magnetosphere is found to undergo an overshooting expansion and a subsequent contraction. Fast and slow magnetosonic waves are identified to play an important role in the relaxation toward equilibrium.

        Left ventricular outflow tract obstruction with systolic anterior motion of the mitral valve in patient with pericardial effusion caused by ascending aortic dissection -A case report-

        Left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) obstruction with systolic anterior motion (SAM) of mitral valve is not only limited to patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. A diagnosis of LVOT obstruction with SAM is important because conventional inotropic support may potentially aggravate hemodynamic deterioration. We present a case of LVOT obstruction with SAM in a patient who underwent an emergent surgery for ascending aortic dissection with pericardial effusion. The patient showed refractory hypotension after standard pharmacologic interventions during induction of anesthesia. Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) revealed LVOT obstruction with SAM and it was managed appropriately under the guidance of TEE. Intraoperative TEE can play an important role in diagnosis and management of LVOT obstruction with SAM caused by pericardial effusion.

        매입임대주택 거주자의 주거환경 및 주택관리 만족도 분석

        The Publicly Purchased Property (PPP) Program since 2004 has allowed low-income households to reside in decent housing at a reasonable expense and to live in a community they choose. With an increasing number of the housing stock, management of the properties becomes a growing concern. The purpose of this research is to find out the satisfaction of the tenants with residential environment and housing management. To collect data, a face-to-face interview survey was conducted for 310 households living in the designated properties of 8 cities in and outside the Seoul Metropolitan Area (SMA). Most of the households were a family of three headed by late middle-aged man and lived in physically sound, small-sized units at an affordable cost. Overall satisfaction with living environment was higher in non-SMA than in SMA, and influenced by building deterioration and unit size. Further, most of the respondents were in favor of housing management services provided by a nearby public housing estate. Building deterioration and regular onsite visits of management staff were determinants in the satisfaction with housing management. The results indicate that proper housing management delays building deterioration and assures decent living for low-income people, leading to high levels of residential satisfaction.

        전장에서 드론을 활용한 보안 위협과 시나리오

        1910년대부터 드론은 군사용으로 주로 정찰, 공격 표적 등의 특수 목적으로 사용되다가 현재는 재난 방재, 탐사, 방송 촬영, 우범지역 감시 등 다양한 분야에서 유용하게 활용되고 있다. 드론의 활용이 군수분야부터 민간분야 이르기까지 폭넓게 사용됨 에 따라 드론을 표적으로 한 전파교란, GPS 스푸핑, 하이재킹 등 해킹이 발생하기 시작했다. 최근에는 무선 네트워크 해킹에 드론을 사용한 사례가 발표된 바 있다. 특히, 군사 분야에서 드론에 인공지능 기술이 적용될 경우에는 드론에 의한 무인전투 체계 해킹이 발생하게 될 것이다. 또한, 드론이 무선통신 중계소 역할을 하는 것처럼 해킹 프로그램을 탑재한 드론이 원거리 에 위치하고 있는 해킹 실행 드론까지 해킹 프로그램을 중계하는 기능도 가능할 것이다. 아울러 GPS 교란 장치를 탑재하여 무인전투체계에 대한 신호 교란도 가능하게 될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 전장에서 드론을 이용한 보안 위협과 예상되는 해킹 시 나리오를 제안함으로써 드론에 의한 보안 위협의 심각성을 인지시키고자 한다. Since 1910s, the drones were mainly used for military purposes for reconnaissance and attack targets, but they are now being used in various fields such as disaster prevention, exploration, broadcasting, and surveillance of risk areas. As drones are widely used from military to civilian field, hacking into the drones such as radio disturbance, GPS spoofing, hijacking, etc. targeting drones has begun to occur. Recently, the use of drones in hacking into wireless network has been reported. If the artificial intelligence technology is applied to the drones in the military, hacking into unmanned combat system using drones will occur. In addition, a drone with a hacking program may be able to relay a hacking program to the hacking drone located far away, just as a drone serves as a wireless communication station. And the drones will be equipped with a portable GPS jamming device, which will enable signal disturbance to unmanned combat systems. In this paper, we propose security threats and the anticipated hacking scenarios using the drones on the battlespace to know the seriousness of the security threats by hacking drones and prepare for future cyberspace.
