참여정부의 국방획득 제도개선 추진의 결과로 방위사업법이 제정되고, 이 법에 따라 방위사업청 산하 정부출연 법인체로 '06년 2월 2일 새로운 조직의 국방기술품질원(이하 기품원)이 탄생하게 되었다. 이에 기품원 사천센터에서 있었던 T-50엔진(F-404-102)의 내구성 시험평가 현황을 알아보고 이 과정에서 느낀 교훈을 살펴보고자 한다.

In this paper, the parallel operation of the IGBT and power stack for easy capacity enlargement series in the medium power capacity inverter system of the 660V voltage class is described. The parallel operation of the IGBT and power stack for 1.5㎹A medium power inverter system's design is applied. The results of the parallel operation are described in this paper. The designed stack capacity for parallel operation is 800㎸A class. For 1.5㎹A inverter system, the 800㎸A stack is applied with 2 parallel configurations. The 800㎸A stack is designed with 3 parallel configurations of the IGBT Module. In this paper, the feasibility for easy capacity enlargement series in the medium power inverter by applying the parallel operation of the IGBT and power stack is verified. The experimental results show the good characteristics for the parallel operation of the IGBT and power stack.
적층복합재료 T-빔 기반의 3차원 직조 프리폼 π-빔 개발

적층복합재료, 특히 탄소섬유 복합재료는 금속에 비해 가벼우며 상대적으로 비강도 및 비강성이 뛰어나기 때문에 항공 우주 산업 및 자동차 산업 등과같이 광범위한 분야에서 사용되고 있다. 그러나, 적층 복합재료는 섬유의 배열이 모두 면내방향으로 배열되어있기 때문에 박리가 발생한다는 큰 단점이 있으며, 이는 적층복합재료의 응용분야를 제한한다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 π-빔과 평판이 결합된 형태의 적층복합재료 T-빔을 개발하고, 구조해석 및 기계적 물성평가를 통하여 설계변수를 최적화하였다. 이후 적층복합재료 T-빔의 설계변수를 3D 직조 프리폼에 동일하게 적용하여 T-빔을 개발하였으며, 적층구조에 비하여 향상된 기계적 강도를 달성할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과는 강도향상을 필요로 하는 기존의 적층복합재료 구조물에 적용 가능할 것으로 기대된다. Laminate composites, especially Carbon fiber-reinforced composites are wide used in various industry such as aerospace and automotive industry due to their high specific strength and specific stiffness. However, the laminate composites has a big disadvantage that delamination occurs because the arrangement of the fibers is all arranged in the in-plane direction, which limits the field of application of the laminate composites. In this study, we first developed a laminate composites T-beam in which π-beam and flat plate were combined and optimized the design parameters through structural analysis and mechanical tests. Afterwards, 3D weave preform T-beam was developed by applying the same design parameters of laminate composites T-beams, and improved mechanical strength was achieved compared to laminated structures. These findings are expected to be applicable to existing laminated composite structures that require increased strength.
전격성 간부전의 경과를 보인 원발성 신 아밀로이드 증 1예

We report the case of a patient with primary renal amyloidosis, who was progressed to fulminant hepatic failure. A 68-year-old man visited our hospital for evaluation of anorexia, weight loss and hepatomegaly. Laboratory examination revealed proteinuria and azotemia. He was confirmed to have primary amyloidosis by renal biopsy. His renal function progressed to deteriorate rapidly with marked deterioration of liver function with cholestasis. Peritoneal dialysis and steroid therapy were started for reduction of urine output and rapid progression of azotemia, and aggravation of liver function. Azotemia was improved after peritoneal dialysis but the liver function worsened leading to hepatic failure, causing death. If jaundice has progressed in any patients with primary amyloidosis, liver transplantation and stem cell transplantation should be considered for preparation of hepatic failure.

Tin oxide thin films doped with silicon as anodes for lithium secondary battery were fabricated by R.F. magnetron sputtering technique. The electrochemical results showed that the irreversible capacity was reduced during the first discharge/charge cycle, because the audition of silicon decreased the oxidic state of Tin. Capacity was increased with the increase of substrate temperature, however decreased with the increase of RTA temperatures. The reversible capacity of thin films fabricated under the substrate temperature of $300^{\circ}C$ and the Ar:$O_2$ratio of 7:3 was 700mA/g.

This paper is on the development of a auxiliary power supply for the coach of Indian Railways. The auxiliary power supply system supplies the power for air-conditioners, air-compressors, lighting equipments, controllers, etc. It converts the input voltage, DC 110V which is supplied from battery, to AC 3ø 415V of 30㎸A capacity. This is a low voltage-high current type converter system and largely consists of boost chopper and 3 phase inverter. Adopting a optimal control algorithm and simple power circuit, we realized the more reliable and competitive system for satisfaction of Indian Railway"s strict requirement for vibration, temperature and dust. We completed the design, the manufacture and the field test of the system successfully and proved the system performance and reliability as a result of those tests.

Gall bladder of a common carp is taken in some areas of Asia as a traditional medicine for improvement of their general health problems like hypertension, poor visual acuity, and impotence. Many cases have been reported on acute hepatitis, acute renal failure, gastrointestinal problems and neurological symptoms following ingestion of raw carp bile juice. We experienced a case of anuric ARF, acute hepatitis, and rhabdomyolysis that developed after indigestion of raw carp bile juice, not yet seen in previous studies. In this case, anuric state of patient was resolved after 4 days with continuous renal replacement therapy. Thus we report this case with review of literature.
단일기관에서의 고령 환자에 대한 ERCP의 경험: 결과, 안전성 및 합병증

Background/Aims: As the population ages, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreaticography (ERCP) is being used increasingly as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool for elderly patients with pancreatobiliary disease. The aim of this study was to assess the outcomes, safety and complications associated with ERCP performed in the elderly patients. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical record of 596 patients who were 50 years of age or older and underwent ERCP from January 2005 to September 2010. The patients were classified into two groups according to the age: non-elderly, 50-74 years old and elderly, ≥75 years old. Comparisons were made between two groups. Results: Five hundred and ninety-six patients (132 elderly and 464 non-elderly patients) were enrolled. The success rate of ERCP was 89.4% in the elderly and 91.9% in the non-elderly. The major complications were occurred in 11 patients of the elderly and 16 of the non-elderly, and the complication rate was significantly higher in the elderly compared to the non-elderly (8.3% vs. 3.4%, p=0.011). Pancreatitis occurred in 2 elderly patients and 10 non-elderly patients (1.5% vs. 2.1%, p=1.0). There was a higher rate of bleeding in the elderly patients (4.5% vs. 1.3%, p=0.01). Conclusions: ERCP is effective and safe even in elderly patients. Outcomes of diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP in the elderly patients were similar to those in non-elderly patients. Elderly patients undergoing ERCP carried similar risk of pancreatitis but a higher risk of bleeding and perforation compared to non-elderly patients. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2011;58:88-92)
