Salicylic acid 및 1-MCP 처리가 ‘캠벨얼리’ 포도의 생리장해 및 품질에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 우리나라 대표 수출 포도 품종인 ‘캠벨얼리’ 를 대상으로 에틸렌작용억제제인 1-methylcylopropene(1- MCP)과 에틸렌생합성 저해 효과를 지닌 salicylic acid(SA)를 단독 혹은 병행처리하여 과실의 저장 및 유통환경에서 발생하는 탈립, 갈변 및 부패 등 생리장해의발생과 과실 품질에 미치는 영향을 에틸렌 발생물질인에테폰과 비교하여 검토하였다. 1-MCP 1,000ppb 훈증처리 후 SA 25μM을 살포 처리하고 19oC에서 16일간저장한 후 조사한 과립경도 및 산함량 수준은 단용처리에 비하여 높게 나타났다. 탈립률은 100μL·L-1 에테폰 처리구 41.7%, SA 처리구 40.8%, 1-MCP 처리구 38.2%로나타났으나 1-MCP 처리 후 SA를 처리한 경우는 18.7% 로 탈립방지 효과가 월등하였다. 브러쉬의 길이를 측정한 결과, 에테폰 처리구는 1mm 미만의 비율이 74.3%로매우 높게 나타났던 반면, 1-MCP 처리 후 SA를 처리한경우는 2-4mm의 비율이 22.8%, 4-6mm 비율이 27.9% 로 브러쉬 길이가 길게 조사되었다. 과축의 무게는 에테폰 처리구에서 2.3g으로 가장 낮아 감모율의 증가에 미치는 에틸렌의 영향과 1-MCP 및 SA의 감모 억제효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 1-MCP와 SA는 저장 중 ‘캠벨얼리’ 포도의 줄기갈변 억제 및 부패 경감에 일부 효과가 있음을 확인되어 추후 수출시 품질유지를 위한 기술 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단되었다. This study was conducted to compare the effect of salicylic acid (SA), an ethylene biosynthesis inhibitor, and the 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) fumigation, to prevent fruit quality deterioration and physiological disorders during the shelf-life of Korea’s leading export grape variety ‘Campbell Early’. The berries treated with SA after 1- MCP fumigation (1-MCP+SA) showed a higher firmness value and titratable acidity than single treatment of SA or 1-MCP. The rate of shattered berry was high as 41.7% for 100ppm ethephon spray, 40.8% for 25μM SA, and 38.2% for 1,000ppb 1-MCP, but showing only 18.7% when the SA was applied after 1-MCP fumigation. The ratio of short brushes less than 1mm was largest at 74.3% for ethephon treatment, while 1-MCP+SA treatment was found to have the longest brush length among all treatments, with a 2-4mm ratio of 22.8% and a 4-6mm ratio of 27.9%. The weight of rachis was found to be the lowest at 2.3g in the ethephon treatment, and the reduction of rachis weight loss per cluster by 1-MCP+SA treatment was evident. In addition, 1-MCP+SA treatment were effective in mitigating stem browning and berry decay during the 16-day storage period at 19oC in this cultivar, so it is believed that they can be used as a practical post-harvest treatment in grape exportation.

As a result of analyzing the quality of imported grapes during the 2018 season, the hardness of the grape berry was found to be 10 N or less in total. In the case of Chilean grapes, the soluble solids tended to be lower as imports and distribution periods were delayed. The berry weight was the largest at 14.4 - 14.8 g for the ‘Red Globe’, 7.1 - 7.4 g for the ‘Thompson Seedless’ and 6.0 - 7.0 g for the ‘Crimson Seedless’. The ‘Crimson Seedless’ grapes imported from Chile, which had a high berry shatter rate, had a shorter pedicel length, pad width and brush length than that of the other 2 varieties. Regardless of the grape varieties, the weight loss during the distribution at room temperature (25℃) increased rapidly as the import season was delayed. Additionally, it was found that the later the distribution seasons, a higher stem browning index was observed regardless of the variety. The ‘Thompson Seedless’ was revealed to be more susceptible to browning than that of the other varieties. The shrinkage of the stem and the pedicel browning progressed within a short time during shelf-life as the distribution time was delayed. The incidence of berry decay of the imported grapes tended to increase with the progression of the distribution period. In the fruits distributed on April, except for the ‘Crimson Seedless’, the grapes were rapidly corrupted in the second half of the distribution. The ‘Red Globe’ grapes completely lost marketability due to a berry decay of 26.1% and 69.9% at 9 and 12 days after shelf-life, respectively.

Purpose: To find out the priority of which procedure has had a better outcome both clinically and radiographically between the two groups, one is treated by primary repair and the other by modified Brostr$\ddot{o}$m's procedure, by comparing the postoperative ankle joint stability and the patient's degree of satisfaction. Material and methods: 16 cases were taken into consideration whose number of severed ligaments were at least two or more of the lateral collateral ligaments of the ankle, and also were confirmed intraoperatively. Among them, 8 cases were treated with primary repair and the other 8 cases were treated with primary repair and the other 8 cases by modified Brostr$\ddot{o}$m's procedure. Results: There was no distinguishable difference for the patient's degree of satisfaction between the two procedures above mentioned. In 3 cases treated with primary repair, functional instability was observed. In case of postoperative ankle joint stability, 7 of 8 cases treated by modified Brostr$\ddot{o}$m's procedure has revealed increased joint stability. And 3 of 8 cases which were treated by primary repair have showed postoperative residual instability. Conclusion: Actually, the severed ligament can not maintain its normal strength though several months has elapsed, and possible residual instability could be remained. Therefore, it can be expected that modified Brostr$\ddot{o}$m's procedure also would be a .good method in obtaining suitable ankle joint stability as well as subtalar joint stability because of its reinforcement using extensor retinaculum.

1993년 3월부터 2003년 4월까지 성분도 병원 정형외과에서 족부 및 족관절 결절종의 진단으로 수술적 치료를 받은 17예의 경우에서 추적 관찰한 결과 다음의 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 1. 위치는 족배측(Zone III)이 가장 많았고 수술 적응증은 동통 12예(70.6%)로 가장 많으며 외관상의 문제 4예 (23.5%), 신경학적 증상과 동통이 동반된 경우 1예 (5.9%)였다. 2. 족부 및 족관절의 결절종은 재발률이 비교적 높다. 따라서 술전에 환자에게 이에 대한 충분한 설명이 필요하다. 3. 족부 결절종의 수술은 관절낭의 연결 부위와 종괴의 완전한 적출이 재발을 낮추는데 도움이 될 수 있으나 해부학적인 특성상 어려움이 있어 시술전 정확한 종괴에 대한 평가와 수술시 결절종의 완전한 제거에 노력해야 할 것이다. Purpose: To evaluate the results of surgical treatment and relationship between the recurrence and characteristics of ganglions in foot and ankle. Materials and Methods: Seventeen cases of ganglions located in foot and ankle, excised at St. Benedict Hospital from Mar. 1993 to Apr. 2003, were included in the study. All of cases were analyzed retrospectively in terms of age, sex of the patients, location and size of the ganglion, symptom, operative method as well as recurrence rate were evaluated. The mean follow up was 1.8 years (11 months${\sim}$6.5 years). Results: The size of ganglion ranged from 0.5 cm to 5.0 cm with mean size of 2.5 cm. The most common area of ganglion was the dorsum of foot and pain was the primary chief complain. The recurrence was found in 4 cases (23.5%): 1 of them occurred among 8 cases the diameter of which was less than 2.5 cm and other 3 occurred among 9 cases larger than 2.5 cm. 12 cases were completely excised mass with no recurrence. But 5 cases were incompletely excised & ligated stalk of mass and 4 cases of them were recurred. A correlation was only observed between complete excision and low recurrence rate. Conclusion: Recurrence rate of ganglions in foot and ankle was high and the correlation was obtained between complete excision and low recurrence rate.
