This study was performed to investigate the effect of therapeutic exercise on brain-derived neurotrophic factor manifestation after global brain ischemia in rats. Nine rats with global ischemia were divided at random into two group. In the control group, three rats remained in cage. But, in the end, two rats were alive. In the therapeutic exercise group, six rats remained. The five rats of this group was swam for 30 minutes everyday for a week. The brain-derived neurotrophic factor expression was identified from immunohistochemistry. The results of this study were as follows : 1. In the control group, a little expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor was observed at cortex and hippocampus layer, but cell body and axon was observed obscurely. 2. In the experimental group, a much expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor was observed at cortex and hippocampus layer, and cell body and axon was observed clearly. In the neurological examination(beam-walking test). experimental group was obtained higher 1.4 points than control group. BDNF expression was increased by swimming for 30 minutes everyday for a week. Therefore, therapeutic exercise contribute to brain plasticity after brain ischemia.

Objectives:We aimed to evaluate the relationship between disability self-awareness and insight in patients with schizophrenia. Methods:We enrolled 58 clinically stable patients with schizophrenia. The World Health Organization Disability Assessment Schedule (WHODAS) self-report was used to identify self-awareness of functional ability. The Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS), Clinical Global Impression-Schizophrenia Scale (CGI-SCH), and Personal and Social Performance Scale (PSP) were utilized to evaluate clinical symptoms and global function. Whereas Insight Scale for Psychosis (ISP) was applied for insight. Statistical analyses were performed using correlation and linear regression. Results:The WHODAS had a significant correlation with the general psychopathology subscale and total score of PANSS, CGI-SCH, and PSP. Moreover, ISP had a strong correlation with the overall WHODAS score and all domains. In the linear regression analysis, ISP had significant effects on the overall WHODAS score after adjusting for additional variables. Conclusion:Disability self-awareness was significantly correlated with the level of insight in patients with schizophrenia. Clinicians need to consider patients’ insight during the discussion of functional ability.

최근 산화아연 나노입자의 물리-화학적 특성을 이용하여 다양한 분야에 응용하는 연구가 많이 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 산화아연 나노입자의 산화-환원 반응을 이용하여 광촉매의 응용 연구를 진행하였다. 이러한 산화아연 광촉매는 산화티타늄 광촉매에 비하여 물 용매에서의 $Zn(OH)_2$를 형성하여 광촉매 활성을 감소시키는 단점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 분무 열분해 방법을 이용하여 산화아연 나노입자를 합성하고 이렇게 합성된 산화아연 나노입자의 물에 대한 안정성 연구를 진행하였다. 그 결과 1일 동안 물 용매 처리를 한 산화아연 나노입자의 표면에 molecular $H_2O$의 증가로 인하여 광촉매 효율이 증가하는 결과를 나타내었으며 본 연구에서 합성된 산화아연 나노입자가 물 용매에서 안정하다는 결과를 도출하였다. Recently, ZnO nanoparticles have been studied in various application fields due to their physico-chemical properties. In this study, we have researched on the ZnO photocatalytic activity by redox reaction. ZnO nanoparticles have low photocatalytic activity in comparison with $TiO_2$ nanoparticles because it has the disadvantage that the formation of $Zn(OH)_2$ in water solvent. Therefore, we were synthesized ZnO nanoparticles by spray-pyrolysis method, and then studied on stability in water solvent. At the results, the water treated-ZnO nanoparticles showed higher photocatalytic activity than non-treated ZnO nanoparticles because molecular $H_2O$ was increased onto the ZnO surface under the water treatment. Also, we confirmed that the ZnO nanoparticles synthesized by spray-pyrolysis method is very stable in the water solvent.

The purpose of this study was to develop improved strength of an arm and a boom on over-load environment, which causes damage in the initial design statement. To develop improved strength of an excavator front group, we calculated load conditions using the MATLAB program, and using these conditions, we performed a structural analysis of an excavator front group for the maximum digging force condition. Finally we performed a topology optimization to reduce weights of an arm and a boom, and we re-modeled an arm and a boom based on the topology design results and re-performed the structural analysis. The strength of the re-design is higher than the initial design but its weight is almost the same as the initial design.
분무 열 분해법을 이용한 Zn₂SiO₄ : Mn 나노 형광체의 광학적 특성에 관한 연구

PDP를 비롯한 형광체를 이용하는 디스플레이 분야에서 현재 마이크로미터(μ-meter) 이상의 크기를 갖는 기존의 벌크(bulk) 형광체를 능가하는 성능과 새로운 물성을 나타내는 나노형광체(nanophosphor) 개발 및 응용에 대한 연구가 절대적으로 필요한 시점이다. 따라서 본 실험에서는 나노 사이즈의 평균 입자 크기를 갖는 구형의 Zn₂SiO₄:Mn 형광체 입자를 초음파 분무열 분해(ultrasonic spray pyrolysis) 방법을 이용하여 합성하였다. 구형의 형광체 입자의 크기는 분무 장치의 droplet separator를 도입하여 조절하였다. 2 ㏖%의 망간을 도핑하여 합성한 Zn₂SiO₄:Mn 입자는 시간이 지남에 따라 감소되고, 최근에 고상에서 합성하여 상용화된 물질에 비교할 수 있을 만한 빛 방출의 세기를 가졌다. 형광체 입자의 크기는 무기질 염의 농도가 0에서 5 M로 증가함에 따라 1 ㎛에서 0.2 ㎛로 감소하였다. 0.5 M 이상의 농도의 전구체 용액에서 얻어진 형광체 입자의 빛 방출은 상용화되어 있는 물질과의 비교를 통해 알아보았다. Spherical shape Zn₂SiO₄:Mn phosphor particles with the mean particle size from submicron to micron sizes were prepared by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis method. A droplet separator was introduced to control the size distribution of the phosphor particles with spherical shape. The Zn₂SiO₄:Mn phosphor particles with 2 ㏖% doping concentration of manganese have decay time and have photoluminescence intensities comparable with those of the latest commercial product prepared by the solid state reaction method. The size of the phosphor particles was decreased from 1 to 0.2 micrometers as the inorganic salt solution concentration was changed from 0 to 5 M. The phosphor particles prepared from the solutions above 0.5 M have photoluminescence intensities comparable with that of the latest commercial product.

광양만에서 조망어구에 어획된 어류의 종조성 및 양적변동

Fluctuations in abundance and species composition of the fish were investigated based on species collected by beam trawl in coastal waters off Gwangyang Bay from April to December in 2015. During the studying period, A total of 5,179 fishes were sampled and classified into 31 species, 19 families, and 7 orders. The dominant order was perciformes accounted for 48.4% of the total fishes. Among the appeared 31 species, Nuchequula nuchalis was the dominant species by 52.8%, followed by Pennahia argentata (6.2%), Callionymus valenciennei (5.2%), Thryssa kammalensis (5.1%), Konosirus punctatus (5.0%) acounted for 74.3% of the total fishes. The diversity index was the highest in station 1 (Hʹ=2.512) and lowest in station 2 (Hʹ=1.389). The evenness index was the highest in station 1 (E=0.762) and lowest in station 2 (E=0.421). Furthermore, the dominance index was the highest in station 2 (D=77.0%) and lowest in station 1 (D=41.6%).

The purpose of this study was to find out the effects of hallux valgus on the ankle plantarflexor and dorsiflexor peak torque, on the total work, on the average power, and on the Peak torque of plantarflexor to dorsiflexor ratio values. Isokinetic ankle plantarflexor and dorsiflexor strength was evaluated in 30 women(control: 15, hallux valgus: 15) by Cybex NORM System. Test data was gathered in the right ankle at a speed of 60/sec, 90/sec, 120/sec in the control group and the hallux valgus group. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 10.0 for windows software. Mean and standard deviations were measured and calculated for the General characterristic of subjects. A paired t-test was used to examine the differnces in the means for the ankle plantarflexor and dorsiflexor between two groups. Pearson coefficient correlation was used to examine the correlation of the hallux valgus and the peak torque. Analysis of variance indicated that isokinetic values of the control group were greater than the hallux valgus group(p<.05, p<.01).
