        실리콘고무 실관 격막에 의한 아황산 가스의 투과에 관한 연구

        본 논문은 실리콘고무 실관 고분자 격막을 이용하여 N₂-SO₂가스 혼합계중의 SO₂가스 분리를 위한 순수 및 혼합 가스의 투과에 대해서 연구하였다. 특히 관의 입구 가스 유속과 압력 강하에 대한 상관 관계의 이론식과 실관 외부 즉 shell측의 길이와 cut변화에 대한 SO₂가스 농도 구배 관계식을 이용하여 실험결과와 비교 검토한 결과 SO₂가스의 투과도는 분압의 변화에 대단히 민감한 반응을 보이며 실리콘 고무는 SO₂가스에 대해 선택성을 가지고 N₂와 SO₂가스의 혼합계에서는 cut를 parameter로한 모세관의 길이에 대한 shell측의 SO₂가스 농도 구배가 이론식과 잘 일치하였다. This work is a study on the permeation of sulfur dioxide gas from nitrogen-sulfur dioxide gas mixture through the silicone rubber hollow fiber membrane. Especially, the object of this study was to compare the experimental data with the theoretical model about the relation between axial pressure loss and the inlet flow rate and on the composition profiles of sulfur dioxide gas in the shell side according to the distance of the hollow fiber under parameter cut change.

        전극 간격에 따른 전기화학적 처리를 통한 폐수처리에 관한 연구

        A new wastewater treatment system was developed to remove nitrate nitrogen and phosphorus in synthetic wastewater through electrochemical treatment. Higher removal efficiencies of nitrate nitrogen were obtained as the current density increased. Higher nitrate removal efficiencies were obtained when the switching interval was 1 min. The total phosphorus removal rate according to the current density was found to be over 90% without being greatly affected by the change in current density and interval, and the total removal rate increased with increasing switching time (1 min interval). On the other hand, COD was not treated by electrochemical treatment, but rather increased as the electrode eluted. Also, the consumption rate of the electrode was smaller as the switching interval was shorter. Finally, removal efficiencies of 98.1% of nitrate and 90% of phosphorus were obtained through electrochemical treatment (current density $50mA/cm^2$, switching interval 1 min, flow rate 540 mL/min). 전기화학적 처리를 통해 합성폐수 내의 질산성 질소, 인을 제거하는 새로운 폐수처리 공정 시스템 개발을 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 전류밀도에 따른 제거율은 전류밀도가 높아질수록 질산성 질소의 높은 제거효율을 얻었고, 전극 스위칭시간에 따른 $NO_3^-$ 제거율은 스위칭 간격이 1 min일 때 높은 질산성 질소 제거효율을 얻었다. 전류밀도에 따른 총인 제거율은 전류밀도와 간격의 변화에 크게 영향을 받지 않으면서 90%이상 처리되는 것으로 나타났고, 스위칭시간(1 min간격)의 증가에 따른 총인 제거율은 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 반면 COD의 경우는 전기화학적 처리를 통해서는 처리되지 않는 것으로 나타났으며 오히려 전극이 용출되면서 증가하는 결과를 얻었다. 또한, 전극의 소모율은 스위칭 간격이 짧을수록 적은 것으로 나타났다. 최종적으로 전기화학적 처리(전류밀도 $50mA/cm^2$, 스위칭 간격 1 min, 유량 540 mL/min)를 통해 질소 98.1%, 인 90% 이상의 제거 효율을 얻을 수 있었다.

        Adenocarcinoma with Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasm Arising in Jejunal Heterotopic Pancreas

        A 74-year-old man suffered from jejunal perforation and adhesion to sigmoid colon due to adenocarcinoma associated with intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN) arising in a jejunal heterotopic pancreas. The jejunal lesion showed direct extension to the sigmoid colon, which was mistaken as sigmoid colon cancer by surgeons. Malignant transformation is a rare complication of a heterotopic pancreas. About half of malignancies in reported cases were ductal adenocarcinoma arising in the stomach, and the jejunal location is extremely rare. Furthermore, IPMN is also uncommon finding in a heterotopic pancreas.

        SAR 원격탐사를 활용한 Galapagos Sierra Negra 화산의 최근 마그마 활동 추정

        Detection of subtle ground deformation of volcanoes plays an important role in evaluating the risk and possibility of volcanic eruptions. Ground-fixed observation equipment is difficult to maintain and cost-inefficient. In contrast, satellite remote sensing can regularly monitor at low cost. In this paper, following the study of Chadwick et al. (2006), which applied the interferometric SAR (InSAR) technique to the Sierra Negra volcano, Galapagos. In order to investigate the deformation of the volcano before 2005 eruption, the recent activities of this volcano were analyzed using Sentinel-1, the latest SAR satellite. We obtained the descending mode Sentinel-1A SAR data from January 2017 to January 2018, applied the Persistent Scatter InSAR, and estimated the depth and expansion quantity of magma in recent years through the Mogi model. As a result, it was confirmed that the activity pattern of volcano prior to the eruption in June 2018 was similar to the pattern before the eruption in 2005 and was successful in estimating the depth and expansion amount. The results of this study suggest that satellite SAR can characterize the activity patterns of volcano and can be possibly used for early monitoring of volcanic eruption. 화산체의 미세 지표변위 관측은 화산의 위험성과 분화 가능성을 평가하는데 중추적인 역할을 한다. 화산체 관측을 위해 고정 지상 관측 장비들을 이용할 경우 유지·관리가 어렵고 위험 및 비용 지출이 큰 반면, 인공위성을 이용한 원격탐사 기법은 저비용으로 정기적인 모니터링이 가능하다. 이 논문에서는 인공위성 합성개구레이더(Synthetic Aperture Radar; SAR) 간섭기법(Interferometric SAR; InSAR)을 Galapagos Sierra Negra 화산에 적용하여 2005년 화산분화 이전의 변형을 효과적으로 연구한 Chadwick et al.(2006)의 연구에 이어, 가장 최근에 이 화산체가 어떠한 화산활동을 하고 있는지를 최신 SAR 인공위성인 Sentinel-1자료를 이용하여 분화 전 마그마 활동을 분석하였다. 2017년 1월부터 2018년 1월까지의 descending mode Sentinel-1A SAR 영상을 취득하여 고정산란체 간섭기법(Persistent Scatter InSAR)을 적용하였으며, Mogi model을 통해 최근 마그마의 활동 깊이 및 팽창량을 추정하였다. 그 결과 2018년 6월 분화 이전의 화산체 활동 양상이 2005년 분화 이전의 활동 양상과 유사하다는 사실을 확인하였고, 활동 깊이와 팽창 반경을 추산해 내는 데 성공하였다. 본 연구 결과는 인공위성 SAR와 역산 기법을 통해 화산체의 활동 양상을 특징짓고 이를 통해 화산분화의 조기 모니터링 가능성을 제시하고 있다.

        Cytology of Follicular Dendritic Cell Sarcoma on Intraoperative Touch Imprint Smears - A Case Report -

        Follicular dendritic cell (FDC) sarcoma is a neoplastic proliferation of FDCs. Because its cytologic findings can vary widely, both the cytomorphology and histopathology of FDC sarcoma can impose a significant diagnostic dilemma. We present cytologic features of FDC sarcoma assessed by intraoperative touch imprint. Intra-abdominal lymphadenopathies were noted in 54-year-old male with hepatitis B-virus associated liver cirrhosis. In contrast to cytologic features of classical FDC sarcoma, the tumor cells featured a large epithelioid or Reed-Sternberg cell-like shape scattered in a background with abundant inflammatory cells, which led to a mistaken diagnosis of malignant lymphoma. However, in accordance with cytologic features previously described in the literature, the tumor cells were characterized by a fragile cytoplasm with cytoplasmic processes in dendritic or reticulated patterns reminiscent of the ultrastructural features of FDC. Cytoplasmic features rendering nuclei with a tendency to form clusters or syncytial aggregates associated with reactive lymphocytes appear to be the most valuable finding in diagnosis of FDC sarcoma.         성호 이익의 경제사상

        Yi Ik had been born in 1681. He is one of the Pragmatists in Yi Dynasty. Generally speeking, the outline of the characteristics of his doctrines are as follows:<br/> 1) Alike Ban'gye, Yu Hyong-Won 반계 유형원, he says "agriculture is the fundamental industry(occupation) in the world and all of the other economic activities, except agriculture, are branch." In this point they are same Physiocrats. But, Yi Ik, is an estream Physiocrat. For instance, Yi Ik says "handicraft is a noxious insect to nation, because, as the handicraft is very profitable than agriculture, farmers abandon their farms and run to handicraft, as the result, the fundamental industry, agriculture, must be declined in prosperity. Government must keep farmers apart from profit."<br/> 2) He says money(coin) is a noxious insect to nation, because, (a) coin increase the propensity to consume and people are apt to indulge in luxury, (b) as coin is light and convenient to carry, thiefs will rampant." He is very conservative as compare with Yu Hyong-won. In spite of about 60 years senior to Yi Ik, Yu Hyong-won ardently recommended the use of coin.<br/> 3) Yi Ik disliked extremely the foreign trade. In his age, as the trade between Korea and China brought the excess of import over export, silver flew into China as the price of consumptive goods. Therefore, he asserted that watchmen must be stationed in frontier in order to prohibit the trade. When we compare his doctrines with Mercantilism, we find a very interesting point. Early Mercantilism acquired gold and silver by foreign trade with feverish eyes positively, Yi Ik wanted to protect silver negatively by checking foreign trade.<br/> 4) Yi Ik is an extreme stoic. He says "if any farmer is so poor that he is not able to take three meals a day, take two meals, if so poor that cannot take two meals a day, take only vegetable. The force of hibit makes man quite inured to it." As the example he shows us the hibernation of animals. Another interesting point of his opinion is sex problem. He says "in animal world they do not choose their spouse by beauty or plainness of face, but, humankind choose by beauty, in this point human is inferior to animal."<br/> 5) He denounced Korean slavely. He is an ardent abolitionist. In this point he is progressive than Tasan, Chong Yag-yong다산 정약용. Chung Yag-yong opposed stubbornly the abolition of slaves.<br/> 6) He condemned the Kwago System과거(the Higher Civil Service Examination) as a noxious insect to nation because of two reasons. The one is unfairness and the other is the exploitation of farmers and despite of labor in the life-long of the successful candidates.<br/> Summarizing, his fundamental thought is an assertion that Korea should keep an ablockaded self-sufficient economy eternally only by encourage of agriculture without any other industry and foreign trade. But, in this point, Chongyu, Pak Che-ga 박제가 is the most progressive scholar among the pragmatists in Yi Dynasty, he asserted foreign trade ardently.
