      • 변환요소에 따른 Looped Wire 탄성 변화에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to evlauate and compare the effect of the variable factors of wire on the elastic properties of looped rectangular wire. Five variable factors were presented-material (Hi-T, blue Elgiloy), wire size (.016"×.022", .018"× .025"), loop length(I5㎜, 20㎜), loop configuration (open loop, closed loop), gabling (non -gable, gable). So, the total 256 specimens were divided into 32 groups, and each of those was pulled on Instron testing machine. The load-deflection curve of each wire was obtained, from which force, range in elastic limit, and stiffness were computed and analyzed statistically. The results were obtained as follows : 1. All of the variable factors-wire material, size, loop length, loop configuration, and gabling-took a significant effect on load-deflection rate of looped wire. 2. The force at elastic limit was the smallest in the group of Hi-T, .016"×.022", 20㎜ loop length, open loop, non-gable, and the largest in the group of blue Elgiloy, .018"×.025", 15㎜ loop length, closed loop, non-gable. 3. The range at elastic limit was the samllest in the group of Hi-T, .018"×.025", 15㎜ loop length, open loop, non-gable, and the largest in the group of Hi-T, .016"×.022, 20㎜ loop length, closed loop, gable. 4. Loop configuration and loop length were the most effective factors on the elastic properties of looped wires, and gabling was the least effective.

        변환요소에 따른 LOOPED WIRE의 탄성 변화에 관한 연구

        Canine retraction spring과 같은 looped wire에서, 각 변환요소에 따라 변하는 탄성 정도를 알아보기 위하여, wire의 재료, 굵기, loop에 소요된 길이, loop의 모양, gabling의 여부 등 5가지의 변환요소를 설정하여, 각 wire activation시의 탄성을 range, force, stiffness등의 면에서 알아보고자 하였다. wire의 재료적인 면에서 Hi-T (Unitek Co.)와 blue Elgiloy (Rocky Mountain Orthodontics)를 선택하였으며, 굵기로는 .016˝x .022˝와 .018˝x .025˝를 선택하였다. loop 자체에 소요된 wire 길이를 15mm와 20mm의 두가지로, loop의 모양을 vertical open loop과 vertical closed loop의 두가지로, gabling의 양을 0˚와 30˚의 두가지로 하여 각각 제작하였다. 따라서 wire의 재료와 굵기, loop의 길이와 모양, gabling의 5가지 변환요소에 따라 32개군으로 구분되었으며, 각 군의 시료수는 8개씩으로, 총 256개의 시료를 대상으로 하였다. Instron(4202, Instron Co, USA)을 사용하여 각 시료의 하중변형곡선을 얻었으며 elastic limit에서의 하중과 변형을 계측하고, 그때의 stiffness(force/range)를 산출하여, ANOVA 등의 통계처리로 32개군 간의 상관성을 조사하였다. 그 결과 wire의 재료, 굵기, loop의 길이, 모양, gabling 모두가 looped wire의 하중 변형도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것을 관찰할 수 있었으며, 탄성범위에서의 force는 Hi-T, .016˝x .022˝, loop 길이 20mm, open loop, non-gable군에서 가장 적었으며, blue Elgiloy, .018˝x .025˝, loop 길이 15mm, closed loop, non-gable군에서 가장 컸다. 탄성범위에서의 range는 Hi-T, .018˝x .025˝, loop 길이 15mm, open loop, non-gable군이 가장 적었으며, Hi-T, .016˝x .022˝, loop 길이 20mm, closed loop, gable군에서 가장 컸다. 또한 Looped wire의 탄성에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변환요소는 loop의 모양과 길이였으며, gabling의 영향이 가장 적었다.         저장온도에 따른 단기저장 석류과실의 품질변화

        본 연구는 우리나라에서 생산된 석류를 40일간 단기저장할 때 저장온도에 따른 품질변화를 측정하여 저장력을 증진시킬 수 있는 방안을 찾기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 저장온도를 1oC, 5oC, 10oC, 그리고 상온으로 하여 40일 동안 저장하면서 석류의 품질변화를 측정한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 중량감모율은 모든 처리에서 저장기간이 경과할수록 증가하는 경향이었고 저장 40일 후 감모율은 1, 5, 10oC 저장은 8.7~10.7%로 차이가 없었으나 상온저장은 19.2%로 가장 높았다. 2. 당도와 산도는 저장기간에 상관없이 당도와 산도는 저장온도간에 일정한 경향이 나타나지 않았다. 3. 부패과율은 저장온도가 낮을수록 적게 발생하였고, 40일간 저장하였을 때 저장 1oC에서 부패과율이 관찰되지 않았으나 상온에서는 60%로 높게 나타났다. 4. 40일의 저장기간 동안에 석류 과실의 저온장해 증상은 발견되지 않았다. 5. 열과를 저장할 때의 중량감모율은 정상과와 차이가 없었지만 부패율은 정상과 보다 증가하였다. 6. 본 연구의 결과로 보아 80~90%의 상대습도를 유지한 곳에서 석류를 40일간 저장하였을 때 저장온도 0~5oC에서 저장력이 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 40일 이상의 저장을 위해서는 저온장해에 대한 검토가 필요하다. This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of storage temperature on short term (40 days) storage pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) fruit quality produced in Korea. The pomegranate fruit were stored at 1oC, 5oC, 10oC, and room temp. (20±2oC). The fruit quality at intervals of 10 days was measured 40 days. Fruit weight loss ranged from 8.7 to 10.7% on storage at 1, 5, and 10oC for 40 days, however room temperature-storage resulted in 19.2% of weight loss. Fruit soluble solids contents and acidity were not different according to storage temperatures for 40 days. Fewer decay fruit was observed at the lower storage temperature at any storage days. Decay fruit was not observed at 1oC for 40 days, however frequency of decay fruit was 60% in the room temperature. Fruit weight loss was not different between normal and dehiscent fruit, however the decay was increased by the dehiscent fruit as the storage period was advanced.

        발광다이오드 처리가 서양민들레의 항산화 활성 및 기능성 성분 함량에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of light spectrum using red (660 nm), blue (460 nm), red and blue mixed (Red : Blue = 6 : 4) LED (light-emitting diode), and fluorescent lamp on antioxidant activities and functional components of dandelion (Taraxacum officinale). Total polyphenol contents in dandelion irradiated with the red and blue mixed or the red LED were 121.77 mg/100 g or 115.36 mg/100 g, respectively, which were greater than those in dandelion treated with blue LED and fluorescent lamp. Asparagine showed the highest content among amino acids in leaves and roots regardless of treatments. Total amino acid was the highest when illuminated with the red LED. DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) radical-scavenging activity and SOD (super oxide dismutase) activity of ethanol extracts were increased under all of the LED treatments compared with fluorescent lamp, and the antioxidant activities were increased by the red and the mixed LED illumination. The results indicate that application of the red and the mixed LED illumination promote antioxidant activity and increase functional components during cultivation of dandelion.
