Against “Fascism” in Korean Liberation Space (1945-1950): Focusing on Kim Kirim’s Writings for Peace

This article explores how a leading Korean literary critic, Kim Kirim (1908-?), understood the controversial term “fascism” in his writings. If we associate fascism with wartime Japanese totalitarianism, it is difficult to understand why and how he warned against fascism in liberated Korea. By interpreting his use of the term “fascism” from the colonial to the liberation period, we are able to gain a better understanding of the international relations between imperial Japan and colonial Korea, as well as of the internal relations between North and South Korea from 1945 to 1950. Such an approach allows us to see the struggle for mutual respect among Korean writers experiencing the ideological conflict and exclusive sectarianism immediately before the outbreak of the Korean War.

전착법을 이용하여 PEMFC용 저담지 백금촉매전극을 제조하고 단위전지의 성능을 측정하였다. 또한 직류전착과 펄스전착시 백금촉매의 분산도, 백금담지량 및 전착효율 등을 비교하여 최적의 전극제조법을 확립하였다. 전착법은 백금촉매의 입자크기를 15Å 정도로 줄일 수 있고 전극표면에만 촉매를 담지시킬 수 있어 촉매의 분산도를 증가시키고 비표면적을 향상시켰다. 펄스전착은 직류전착보다 전착효율과 분산도가 좋고 동일한 전하량에서 백금담지량을 증가시킬 수 있어 전극의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있었다. 펄스전착으로 촉매의 핵을 생성시킨 후 직류전착으로 핵성장을 시킬 경우 펄스전착 전하량이 3 C/㎠일 때 전류밀도 300 ㎃/㎠(0.7 V)로 가장 좋은 전극성능을 보였다. 0.7 V에서 백금촉매의 mass activity는 분산도가 가장 우수한 펄스전착 전하량 1.8 C/㎠일 때 664w/g Pt으로 가장 큰 값을 보였다. The low Pt loading electrodes for PEMFC were manufactured using electrodeposition and their cell performances were measured. Also an optimal electrode fabrication process was determined by comparing Pt dispersion, loading and electrodeposition efficiency in direct current and pulse electrodeposition. Electrodeposition could reduce Pt particle size about 15 Å, and enhance dispersion and specific surface area of Pt because of impregnating catalyst on the surface of electrode. Pulse electrodeposition was better than direct current one in electrodeposition efficiency and Pt dispersion, and it could increase cell performance due to higher Pt loading at same total passed charge. The electrode, which was made by growing Pt nuclei in direct current electrodeposition after creating Pt nuclei in pulse one at pulse charge of 3 C/㎠, showed the best performance of 300 ㎃/㎠(0.7 V). At 0.7 V the electrode that Pt dispersion was highest and pulse charge was 1.8 C/㎠ had the largest mass activity of 664 W/g Pt.
A Missiological Accessment of the State and Christianity in Nepal

오늘날 네팔 교회는 세계에서 빠르게 성장하고 있는 교회 가운데 하나이다. 18세기의 수십 년 동안 잠시 있었던 천주교의 선교 이후 네팔 내에서 기독교 선교는 물론이고 기독교인의 입경조차 허락되지 않았다. 한편, 1951년 접경지역에 거주하던 네팔인 기독교인들과 함께 선교사들이 의료와 지역 개발 등의 NGO 사역을 위해 입국하게 되면서 네팔에서 기독교인의 숫자가 증가하기 시작했다. 2011년 현재, 네팔에는 37만 명이 넘는 기독교인이 2,700개가 넘는 교회에서 신앙생활을 하고 있다. 네팔 교회의 성장은 놀라울 정도로 빠르게 진행되었지만, 네팔 정부의 기독교에 대한 인식과 정책에 큰 영향을 받았다. 종교의 자유를 누림에도 불구하고 느린 교회 성장을 보이는 아세아의 여러 나라와는 비교가 된다. 이 연구는 네팔의 정치 권력자들이 기독교에 대해 어떤 태도를 취했는지에 대해 선교학적인 관점에서 고찰하고자 하였다. 우선 이것을 위해 네팔 정부와 기독교의 관계를 역사적인 관점에서 살펴보았다. 이것을 위해 1769년부터 현대까지 4개의 시기로 구분하였다. 그리고 마오이스트들이 현대 네팔 정치에 중요한 역할을 해왔다. 따라서 이들에 대한 이해를 추구했다. 이러한 연구들을 바탕으로 선교학적 관점에서 현재 네팔 교회가 직면하고 있는 이슈들에 대해 논하였다.
薦骨 前方의 腫塊를 동반한 Currarino Triad : 증례 보고 Case Report

The Currarino triad is a unique complex of congenital caudal anormalies including anorectal malformation, sacral bony abnormality, and presacral mass. Histologically the presacral mass has been identified as a meningocele, teratoma, enteric duplication of a combination of this. A Case of female infant with this triad was presented and was successfully treated by surgery. The presacral mass was lipomyelomeningocele. The clinical features, unique radiologic findings, and importance of a correct diagnosis of currarino triad were reviewed.
On Purposes of Jeremiah’s Vocation (Jer. 1:4-10)

The purpose of this article is to analyze the report of the prophetic vocation in Jer. 1:4-10 from the perspective redaction criticism and tradition approach and to compare the motifs of this call narrative with them of Moses, Gideon and Isaiah who show similar motifs in their narratives as follows: vision confirming the call, the divine appointment of the prophet, the hesitant response of the chosen, and God's rejection to the hesitant response Despite these similar motifs, the characteristics motifs of the vocation in Jer. 1:4-10 make Jeremiah a warrior-like figure with kingly authority in order to make him a prophet to the nations. He received the mission to stand against nations, and against all the existing opinions of those who were standing before the judgment of God. As Moses carried with a kingly image establishing laws and institutions since the Exodus, and with a worrier-like image executing war against many nations until their arriving at the plains of Moab, so Jeremiah with the authority of kings and warriors, as a prophet to nations, has to execute wars. God encouraged Jeremiah to confront his mission, and said ‘Don’t be afraid of them!’ God will with Jeremiah when the prophet will root out, pull down, destroy, and throw down all the sins of the past, and build, and plant for new future. In uncertain and harsh reality after the destruction of the kingdom of Judah, the redactor(s) purposed to show Jeremiah as a new Moses-like prophet without negative image, and on the basis of Jeremiah’s word the redactor(s) tried to pave the way for future.

In this study, functional transdermal patch was prepared by MBS, PVA, melanin nanoparticle (MEL-NP), allopurinol (ALP), and glycerol. The characterization and physical properties of prepared transdermal patches with/without the addition of MEL-NP and ALP were investigated. MEL has a high photothermal conversion efficiency under 808 nm NIR laser irradiation. Therefore, the effects of drug release on a transdermal patches added MEL-NP can be enhanced by NIR laser irradiation. The solution of temperature containing transdermal patches added MEL-NP increased from 25 °C to 40 °C by NIR irradiation for 5 min. The release of ALP was rapidly increased from transdermal patches added MEL-NP with irradiation of NIR when compared with transdermal patches without MEL-NP and without NIR irradiation. From the results, we suggest that the prepared functional transdermal patches can be applied as a biomedical material for the acute treatment and localized drug release.
