        자기주도적 야외탐구활동에 대한 중학생의 인식 및 과학적 태도 분석

        이 연구의 목적은 자기주도적인 야외탐구활동에 대한 중학생들의 인식과 과학적 태도를 분석하기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 2012년 7월 3박 4일간 제주대학교 과학영재교육원 주관으로 운영한 자기주도적 야외탐구활동에 참여한 50명의 중학생이다. 이 연구에서는 학생들의 야외탐구활동에 대한 인식과 과학적 태도를 조사했고, 기존 야외탐구활동 경험이 있는 집단과 야외탐구활동 경험이 없는 집단 간에 차이가 있는지를 t-검증을 통해 분석하였다. 자기주도적 야외탐구활동에 대한 흥미도를 조사한 결과 야외탐구활동 경험이 있는 학생 집단의 평균 점수가 경험이 없는 학생 집단에 비해 높게 나타났으며, t-검증 결과 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 또한 자기주도적 야외탐구활동과 교실수업과의 관계에 대해 야외탐구 활동 경험이 있는 학생들이 야외탐구 활동의 가치를 더 높게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 자기주도적 야외탐구활동을 통한 과학적 태도에서는 야외탐구활동 경험이 있는 집단과 경험이 없는 집단 간의 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않는다. 그러나 과학적 태도 영역별 검사에서는 자기주도적 야외탐구활동은 과학적 태도 하위요소 중 적극성, 솔직성, 준비성 영역에서 차이가 있었다. 따라서 지속적으로 자기주도적 야외탐구활동 프로그램을 운영한다면 학생들의 과학적 태도 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있을 것으로 본다. The purpose of this study was to analyze the perception and scientific attitudes of middle school students toward self-directed field inquiry activities. The subjects of this study consisted of 50 students who participated in self-directed field inquiry activities for three nights and four days in July, 2012, which were run by Jeju National University-Affiliated Gifted Education Center. In this study, the perception and attitudes of the students in relation to inquiry-based field activities were examined and the differences between a group with a prior experience of field inquiry activitiesi and a group with no experience of field inquiry activities were analyzed using t-tests. According to the investigation on the students` interest in self-directed field inquiry activities, the group with an experience of ifield inquiry activities exhibited a higher average score than the group with no such experience. A t-test confirmed that the above difference between the groups was statistically significant. Moreover, in terms of the relations between self-directed field inquiry activities and classroom teaching, the students with an experience of field inquiry activities were revealed to recognize the value of field inquiry activities more highly than the students with no such experience. In terms of scientific attitudes according to self-directed field inquiry activities, no statistically significant differences were observed between the group with an experience of field inquiry activities and the group with no experience. However, through a scientific attitude test by sub-categories, the group with an experience of field inquiry activities revealed differences in terms of activeness, truthfulness, and preparedness. Therefore, the consistent operation of self-directed field inquiry activities is expected to have a positive effect on the improvement in the scientific attitudes of students.

        중학생들의 탐구계획서에 나타난 탐구문제 유형과 가설검증 방법 분석

        본 연구의 목적은 중학생들의 탐구계획에서 나타난 탐구 문제의 유형과 가설 검증 방법을 분석하기 위한 것이다. 연구 대상은 과학 탐구 프로그램에 참가 신청한 중학생 46개 팀이다. 탐구계획서에 제시된 탐구문제 유형에 대한 분석 결과 범주형 독립변인과 연속형 종속변인이 가장 많이 나타났다. 가설 검증 방법에 대한 분석 결과 비례 비교 방법을 제외한 4가지 유형의 가설 검증 방법이 비교적 고르게 활용되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 유사반응 비교 및 긍정 비교 방법은 가장 많이 관찰되었고, 다음으로는 직접 관찰 방법과 부정 비교 방법인 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구에서 수행된 탐구계획서에 대한 분석은 학생들이 수행하는 과학 탐구의 기본적 분석에 대한 자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 또한 이 연구의 결과는 과학 탐구 교수에 관한 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study was to analyze the types of inquiry questions and hypothesis testing methods exhibited in the inquiry plans of middle school students. The subjects of this study were 46 teams of middle school students who applied for the participation in a scientific inquiry program. The results of the analysis on inquiry questions in the inquiry plans revealed that categorical independent variables and continuous dependent variables were most frequently suggested. The results of the analysis on hypothesis testing methods in the inquiry plans presented relatively even utilization levels in four types of hypothesis testing methods except the proportional comparison method. The similar response comparison and positive comparison methods were most frequently observed, followed by the direct observation and positive-negative comparison methods. The analysis on the inquiry plans performed in this study findings is significant in terms of providing the data regarding the basic framework of scientific inquiry that students have. Also the results of this study will be able to offer implications on scientific inquiry teaching.

        멘토링을 활용한 과학탐구프로그램에 대한 중,고등학생들의 인식 -제1회 제주과학탐구아카데미 참여 학생을 중심으로-

        이 연구는 멘토링을 활용한 과학탐구프로그램인 제주과학탐구아카데미에 참가한 학생들을 대상으로 멘토링 및 제주과학탐구아카데미에 대한 인식을 조사하기 위한 것이다. 연구 대상은 탐구계획서를 제 출하여 심사를 통해 선발되어 본 프로그램에 참가한 중학생 50명과 고등학생 50명이다. 멘토링에 대한 조사 결과 학생들은 멘토와의 상호작용을 통해 탐구에 대한 자신감을 가지게 되었고, 탐구에 대한 새로운 관점을 구축하게 되었다고 응답했다. 또한 과학탐구프로그램에 대한 인식을 조사한 결과 학생들은 이 탐구프로그램 활동에 많은 흥미를 느꼈고 과학 개념을 이해하는 데에도 도움이 된다고 응답 했다. 이 연구의 결과는 과학탐구 프로그램 개발에 있어서 멘토링 도입을 적극적으로 검토할 필요가있음을 나타내고 있다. 후속 연구로 과학탐구 프로그램 참여 경험이 학생들의 과학탐구력, 개념 이해등에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 다양한 영향 요인에 대한 분석이 이루어져야 할 것이다. This study aims to investigate the opinions of students who joined the Jeju Scientific Research Academy, a scientific research program with a mentoring system. The 50 middle school students and 50high school students in the study were chosen as participants after being judged on their research plans. According to the study, students became more confident in research activities and could have a new point of view on research through interaction with a mentor. They were also very interested in the scientific research program of the Jeju Scientific Research Academy and found it helpful to understand the scientific concepts. Therefore the study shows it is necessary to consider actively the introduction of the mentoring system for the scientific research program. The follow-up study should be done to determine which factors influence on the inquiring minds and the understanding of scientific concepts of the students during the experience of the program.

        Transmission of Substituent Effects through Five-Membered Heteroaromatic Rings. III. Addition Equilibria of Hydroxide Anion to Benzaldehyde Analogues

        Transmission of substituent effects through 5-membered heteroaromatic rings is investigated theoretically at the RHF/6-31+G and B3LYP/6-31+G levels using the equilibria for the $OH^- addition to five-membered heteroaromatic aldehydes (5MHA). The transmission efficiency (S) in 5MHA(A) increases in the order NH>O>S>PH but the order exactly reverses in 5MHA($T^-$). This is originated by the delocalizability of the ${\pi}$ lonepair on Y, $$n_\pi$(Y)$. A better correlation is obtained with ${\sigma}_p^-$ in the Hammett plots with positive slope, $p_z$ > 0, indicating that the substituent (Z) effects are not transmitted by a direct conjugation. The magnitude of $p_z$ for Y=NH is the largest among the heteroaromatic systems, which is consistent with the largest transmission efficiency change $({\Delta}S)$. The equilibria for the addition processes are favorable in the gas phase $({\Delta}G^o<0)$, which reverses to unfavorable in aqueous solution $({\Delta}G^o>0)$ due to the relatively large salvation energy of $OH^-$ in the initial state in aqueous solution. The orders of ${\Delta}G^o$ and $p_z$ in the gas phase are almost maintained in solution.

        『영추ㆍ경근』의 기본자세에 대한 연구

        Objectives : To analyze the contents of ≪LingshuㆍJingjin≫ and study the standard posture in context of Korean Medicine. Methods : Analyzed the terms related to the name, body region and orientation of Three Yin and Three Yang used in ≪LingshuㆍJingjin≫ to deduce the standard posture of the description. ≪LingshuㆍJingmai≫ was used as supplementary data. Results : The term “Three Yin and Three Yang” in ≪LingshuㆍJingjin≫ is used to indicate regions of the human body, and based on this, terms with orientation were used. Just like ‘anatomical position’, there is a standard posture in Korean Medicine, and it may seem to be similar overall, but there is a difference in posture in the upper extremity. In ≪LingshuㆍJingjin≫, Greater Yang is the dorsal region, Lesser Yang is the lateral surface region, Yang Brightness is the anterior surface region of the human body. In the body trunk, Three Yin refers to the inner parts of the human body. However, in the lower extremity, Three Yin refers to the medial surface of the legs. The name of the individual Meridian-muscle was given following the region corresponding to Three Yin and Three Yang. In ≪LingshuㆍJingjin≫, there is a basic posture that became the standard posture derived from the description. In an upright standing position, the feet face forward, the fingers naturally extended, and the back of the hand faces outward. The fact that the posture of the thumb is naturally extended is especially reflected in ≪LingshuㆍJingjin≫. This is clearly different from the “anatomical position” and as it can be the base of all areas of acupuncture, it is suggested that it be defined as the “Standard Position of Acupuncture Medicine”. Conclusions : Based on our analysis, we suggest the “Standard Position of Acupuncture Medicine” as an upright standing position, with the feet facing forward, the fingers naturally extended, the back of the hand facing outward, and the thumb naturally extended.

        In recent years, the problem of unstable income of farmers has been raised due to the decrease of rice consumption and rice prices. So residents-led rural photovoltaic is attracting attention. However, residents’ rural solar photovoltaic systems have problems with food security because they install solar power without farming. Farming solar power can sell electricity by solar power generation in parallel with farming, thereby securing food security and increasing farmers’ income. In this study, two types of modules were arranged for the application of fanning solar power, and the amount of solar radiation reaching rice was analyzed and measured according to the module arrangement. Simulation and Measurement Results When the modules were installed separately, the shading rate decreased by 5 ~ 7%.

      • 고등학교 물리교과서의 편집체제 분석

        The contents and layout of the units on thermodynamics, which appear in seven kind of high school physics textbook, are compared. Characteristics and problems of each textbook are discussed, and suggestions are made on for the future textbook revision. As we analyzed each textbook, firstly, the other of content is edited differently in each textbook, so problems of curriculum, which is being carried out now, appeared. Secondly, the content of thermodynamics unit is edited differently in each textbook, and it is expressed by using macroscopic quantity rather than microscopic quantity. Thirdly, the number of experiments is differ in each textbook, so, it gives rises to confusion in managering curriculum. Fourthly, the edition of textoook, which is memorizing oriented, is the majority, rather than the content which promotescientific thinking and cause motivation.

        우리나라 이동전화와 유선전화의 가입수요 대체에 관한 연구

        As mobile telephones become widely spread, they began to compete directly with fixed telephones, first for usage and ultimately for access. The potential for mobile phones to become a substitute for fixed phones has become evident. The aim of this paper is to examine the impact of rapid growth in mobile telephones on the access demand for traditional fixed telephones. In particular, we study whether or not mobile telephones are a substitute for fixed telephones by estimating the market demand equations for new connections. The empirical analysis is carried out with Korean regional panel data for the period 1991~1998. The study shows that a 1% increase in the number of mobile telephones results in a reduction of 0.10~0.18% in new fixed connections. The study provides various implications for telecommunications policy issues.

        온도 변동하의 Al 7075 합금의 크리이프 및 파단수명

        Cyclic temperature creep tests were carried out an Al 7075 alloy specimens were subjected to a constant load and step-wise temperature cycles in which temperature was fluctuated between 300℃ and 250℃ with three different cycle ratios. The highest frequency of cycling was 1 cycle per 10 hr and the lowest one was 1 cycle per 12 hr. From the creep experimental results with the above conditions the creep strain under cyclic temperature can be predicted easily by introducing the equivalent steady temperature Te as defined by Eq.(16), but the rupture life is 1.1 time than those of constant temperature because of effect of temperature history at tertiary creep range. Besides this result, the results of the creep test under cyclic temperature conditions are respectively compayied with calculated rupture lives using the life fraction law and Eq.(18). The agreement between the obseried rupture times and calculated ones is fairly good. So creep rupture lives can be respectively predicted using life fraction law and Eq.(18).
