        구절초의 추출조건에 따른 Linarin 함량과 In Vitro 생리활성 변화

        본 연구에서는 구절초를 대상으로 물과 에탄올을 이용하여 확보한 각각의 추출물에 대하여 추출 수율, 폴리페놀 함량, 플라보노이드 함량, linarin 함량, ABTS 라디칼 소거능과 DPPH 라디칼 소거능, α-glucosidase 저해 활성, lipase 저해 활성을 측정하였다. 구절초는 70°C, 50% 주정 추출조건에서 추출 수율과 총플라보노이드 함량, linarin 함량, ABTS 라디칼 소거능과 DPPH 라디칼 소거능, α-glucosidase 저해 활성, lipase 저해 활성이 가장 높았다. 또한, linarin 함량이 구절초 추출물의 생리활성과 상관관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 구절초 추출물은 linarin 함량이 증가함에 따라 항산화, 탄수화물 및 지방 흡수 지연 활성을 가지는 것으로 생각한다. 본 연구를 통하여 구절초의 추출조건에 따른 생리활성을 확인함으로써 향후 구절초를 이용한 건강기능식품의 소재 등으로 이용 가능할 것으로 생각한다. This study was designed to determine optimal extraction conditions of Chrysanthemum zawadskii (CZ) with high yield of bioactive compounds (linarin, polyphenols, and flavonoids) and improved in vitro activities. Ethanol extracts were examined at different concentrations (0, 30, 50, 70, and 95%) and temperatures (50 and 70°C). The recommended extraction conditions were 50% ethanol at 70°C for 4 h, which gave the highest yield of linarin, polyphenols, and flavonoids. This extract appeared to have the greatest ABTS and DPPH radical scavenging activities (87.81% and 51.42% at 500 μg/mL, respectively) and α-glucosidase (74.59%) and pancreatic lipase inhibitory activities (90.44%). As contents of linarin increased, antioxidative activity, inhibitory effects of carbohydrates and lipid absorption of CZ extracts increased as well. From these results, CZ extracts can be used in functional food industries.

        Cloacal anomalies are very rare congenital malformations with the incidence of 1/50,000-250,000 births. Hydrocolpos involves the dilatation of the vagina due to obstruction of the genital tract, leading to accumulation of secretions. Because of wide spectrum of abnormal anatomy involving urogenital and gastrointestinal systems, prenatal diagnosis is difficult. As ultrasound becomes more and more reliable, prenatal diagnosis is possible as early as in the second trimester. The presence of prenatally detected hydro (metro) colpos warrants a systematic evaluation of fetal and neonatal anatomy to rule out a large variety of possibly associated malformations or syndromes. We present a case of urogenital sinus maldevelopment which was initially presented as a fetal ascites.

        심폐기능에 따른 점증적 최대운동시 지속능력 및 회복능력의 비교

        This study performed the comparison of continuous and recovery capacity following to endurance capapcity through the analysis of heart rate and blood lactate responses in graded maximal testing of long distance runners and nonathletes. In graded maximal testing, VO₂max, exercise duration to all-out, and lactate threshold showed a significant(P<0.05) differences between two groups. Absolute values of heart rate and blood lactate concentration of long distance runners group showed a significant(P<0.05) lower values than nonathletes group at 15 mins of recovery phase after graded maximal exercise, but recovery rate of heart rate and blood lactate showed no significant differences between two groups. These results could be suggested that the detailed physiological parameters must be considered for the analysis of recovery function of exercise-induced fatigue.

        범가자미 , Verasper variegatus 의 난황단백질 분리 및 면역학적 특성

        The yolk protein of spotted flounder, Verasper variegatus was purified by precipitation with cold distilled water, followed by Sepharose CL-6B column chromatography. The purified protein was identified as vitellin by Ouchterlony`s immunodiffusion test and immunoelectrophoresis. The purified vitellin from ovarian crude extracts has same antigenic determinants with the female specific serum protein, vitellogenin. The molecular weight of purified vitellin was estimated about 550kD by gel filtration. The vitellin was composed of three major subunits with molecular weight of about 108, 85 and 31kD, and two minor subunits. The vitellin was identified by western blot analysis using anti-vitellin antibody.

        심실 빈맥의 임상양상 및 예후

        목적: 심실 빈맥의 원인 질환으로 허혈성 심질환이 가장 흔하다고 보고되고 있으나 우리나라의 경우 허혈성 심질환에 의한 심실 빈맥의 빈도나 임상양상 및 예후에 대하여 국내 보고가 미흡한 상태였다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 우리나라에서 발생한 심실 빈맥의 임상적 특징과 예후에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 1999년 1월부터 2002년 12월까지 본원에서 심실 빈맥으로 진단된 환자 136명을 대상으로 하였으며 내원 당시 ECG의 특징과 임상적 특징, 추적 결과을 분석하여 예후을 조사하였다. 결과: 남자는 100명(73.5%), 여자는 36명(26.5%)으로 남녀 비는 2.76:1였다. 환자의 발작 시 증상 중 가장 많이 호소하였던 것은 심계 항진(50.8%)이었으며 흉통(17.6%), 졸도가 15예(11.0%), 호흡곤란 7예(5.1%), 심장 돌연사 7예(5.1%)였으며 무증상인 경우가 2예(1.5%), 기타 다른 증상이 4예(2.9%)였다. 심실 빈맥의 발생에 특별한 유발 인자가 없었던 경우가 제일 많았으며(58.1%), 물리적인 활동(33.1%), 감정적인 스트레스(7.4%)가 유발인자로 관찰되었다. 심전도상의 특징을 살펴보면 기저 심박수는 74.8±17.5회, QRS폭은 101.1±18.5 ms였으며 전기축은 정상축이 가장 많았으며 V1 유도의 QRS 모양으로 분류해 보면 우각 차단형이 54예(39.7%), 좌각 차단형이 44예 (32.4%), 다형 심실 빈맥이 15예(11.0%)였으며 V1유도가 기록되지 않았던 경우가 23예(16.9%)있었다. 심실 빈맥의 원인 질환으로는 특발성 심실 빈맥이 74예(54.4%)로 가장 많았으며 허혈성 심질환이 29예(21.3%)로 그 다음이었다. 특발성 심근병증이 16예(11.8%)였으며 심판막증이 6예(4.4%)있었고, 그 밖에도 선천성 심질환(3예), Long QT 증후군(4예), Brugada 증후군(4예)있었다. 추적관찰되었던 119예 중에서 재발되었던 환자는 31예(22.8%)였으며 사망한 환자는 12예(10.1%)였다. 추적 관찰에서 재발 및 사망 여부가 확인되지 않은 환자는 17명(13.9%)였다. 재발하기까지의 기간이나 사망률로 환자의 예후를 판별하였는데, 여타 질환에 비해 특발성 심실 빈맥의 경우가 통계적으로 유의하게 좋은 예후를 보여 주었으며 허혈성 심질환인 경우가 가장 좋치 못한 결과를 보여 주었다(p<0.05). 특발성 심실 빈맥의 치료법 중 전극 도자 절제술가 가장 좋은 예후를 보여 주었으며 득발성 심실 빈맥의 경우 사망 환자는 없었다(p<0.05). 결론: 국내 심실 빈맥의 환자는 서구와는 달리 특발성인 경우가 가장 많았고 특발성 심실 빈맥의 경우가 다른 심실 빈맥에 비하여 예후가 가장 좋았으며 특발성 심실 빈맥의 치료 방법 중 전극 도자 절제술의 효과가 가장 좋았다. Background: Although the determination of etiology is crucial for the management of ventricular tachycardia (VT), there have been few studies on the epidemiology and clinical characteristics of patients with ventricular tachycardia in Korea. Previous studies on Western populations have shown that ischemic VT is the most common type arrhythmia; however, the incidence of ischemic heart disease in Korea is lower than in Western culture. The purpose of this study was to determine the clinical characteristics and prognosis of Korean patients with VT. Methods: From January 1999 to December 2002 patients who were diagnosed with VT by ECG or confirmed by electrophysiological studies were enrolled. Hospital records were reviewed for the clinical characteristics which included: demographic features, underlying disease, clinical presentation, ECG features and prognosis in 136 patients who visited our emergency room or out patient clinic. Results: There were 100 men and 36 women (mean age 51.517.6). The most common presenting symptom was palpitation (56.6%), which was followed by chest pain and syncope. The most common type of VT was idiopathic VT (54.4%); ischemic VT was found in 29 cases (21.3%) and dilated or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in 16 cases (11.8%). For all types of VT, the idiopathic VT showed the best prognosis and cardiac function (p<0.05). RFCA (Radiofrequency catheter ablation) was the best treatment option for treatment of idiopathic VT (p<0.05). Conclusions: These findings suggest that idiopathic VT may be the most common type of VT in Korean patients; it usually originates form either the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) or the LV. The response to treatment and prognosis was poor in VT patients who had underlying heart disease; however, the prognosis was excellent for those with idiopathic VT.(Korean J Med 71:276-284, 2006)

        코퍼스를 활용한 신소설 문체 분석 시론 : 『치악산』과 『홍도화』의 작가와 문체를 중심으로

        The objectives of this paper is to confirm 'Sinsosoel' authorship through quantitative approach to stylistics. In 1900s when the new form of novel, Sinsosoel emerged, matter of authorship was so complicated. There were a lot of cases that the author named in publisher's imprint was not a genuine one but other author or a publisher himself. Recent research examined this matter with bibliographical approach, for example looking through biography of the author and the publisher, and their relationship, or publication law and market condition in 1900s around. This research significantly contributed to confirm the authorship and the canon among different editions, however it tended to pay less attention to the internal property of a work. This paper starts from this point to argue stylistics should be considered in order to confirm authorship and canon. It is very important to select works for this purpose. Here works with separate volumes of different authors under one title were considered, because two totally different stories can distract us from tracing one author's typical styles. Under one story line, we can easily trace two different author's distinctive style from another. Chiaksan 1's author is recorded as Yi Injik whereas volume 2 is Kim Gyoje, and Hongdohwa 1's author is Yi Haejo whereas 2 is Min Junho or Namgung Min. This two works will be examined to confirm whether they are really written by two different authors and if yes, which distinctive styles they have. The tool for this examination is Sinsosel Corpus established by AKS(Academy of Korean Studies) 2009-2011. Frequency listed from computational treat to Corpus will play an important role to confirm this two works authorship and each author's style. This approach will lead stylistics study to more scientific level.

        태아 긴박증에서 태아 심장박동의 비선형 동력학 및 카오스 분석

        목적 : 태아의 건강을 평가하기 위한 새로운 분석 방법을 개발하기 위함이다. 방법 : 전자식 태아 감시장치를 이용하여, 긴박증 태아에서 발생되는 심박동 신호를 컴퓨터로 받아들여 데이터 전처리 (low pass filtering; LPF)후에 비선형 분석으로 지연시간 (delay time), 매립차원 (embedding dimension), 상관차원 (correlation dimension), Isoangular return map을 통한 mean crossing, information entropy를 구하였고, 태아 긴박증 소견을 보인 신생아 22명의 출생후 제대 혈액 가스값을 산혈증군 5명과 비산혈증군 17명으로 나누어 비선형 카오스 분석 결과와 비교하였다. 결과 : 1. 데이터 전처리를 거친 지연 시간은 15.73±2.47 이었다. 2. FNN 법으로 계산한 매립 차원은 5.00±0.82 이었다. 3. 산혈증군의 상관차원은 1.41±0.20으로 비산혈증군의 상관차원 1.10±0.38 보다 높았으나 통계적 유의성은 없었다. 4. Isoangular return map 의한 mean crossing값은 산혈증군이 28.80±11.34이었고 비산혈증군은 16.65±7.00으로 통계적으로 유의성이 있었다 (P=0.008). 5. Information entropy에 의한 1-D ED 비교에서 산혈증군은 6.32±0.38, 비산혈증군은 6.20±0.28로 통계적인 의의가 없었다. 또한 2-D ED 값의 비교에서는 산혈증군은 10.20±0.34로 비산혈증군의 9.51±0.44보다 통계적으로 의의있게 높았다(P=0.004). 그러나 2-D EP 값 비교에서는 산혈증군은 8.70±0.90, 비산혈증군 9.22±0.74로 통계적으로 유의성이 없었다 (P=0.281). 또한 2-D ED(DI) 값도 산혈증군은 10.64±0.14, 비산혈증군은 10.51±0.18로 통계적으로 유의성이 없었다 (P=0.141). 결론 : 태아 심박동 자료로 컴퓨터를 이용한 비선형 및 카오스 동력학 분석이 실시간으로 태아의 건강상태를 평가할 수 있는 새로운 진단 방법으로 역할을 할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었으나, 임상에 적용하기까지는 향후 더 많은 연구를 통하여 이의 진단 기준 확립과 컴퓨터 프로그래밍화하여 실시간 진단 방법이 임상에 적용되어야 할 것으로 생각된다. Objectives: For estimating the antenatal fetal wellbeing to develop new analysis method of fetal heart rate(FHR) with electronic Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring(eFHRM) and computer.Methods: Heart rate signal is received from distressed fetus using eFHRM. It is necessary to carry out low pass filtering as a preprocess for the nonlinear method. Nonlinear parameters are calculated and classified to investigate the relations between these parameters and values of umbilical cord blood gas.Results: By dividing values of the umbilical cord blood gas into 5 fetuses of acidemic group and 17 fetuses of non-acidemic group after 22 neonates who presented fetal distress were born, the following results as compared with nonlinear chaotic analysis result were obtained. 1. Delay time through AMI for acidemic group was 16.80±3.11, and was higher than 15.41±2.27 for non-acidemic group, and is not significant in statistics.2. Embedding Dimension calculated with FNN method was 5.60±2.07 for acidemic group, and 4.71±1.26 for non-acidemic group, and it was not significant statistically.3. Correlation dimension for acidemic group was 1.41±0.20, and was higher than 1.10±0.38 for non-acidemic group, and is not significant in statistics.4. Mean crossing value by isoangular return map was 28.80±11.34 for acidemic group, and 16.65±7.00 for non-acidemic group, and it was significant statistically(P=0.008).5. In comparison of information entropy in 1-D ED, acidemic group was 6.32±0.38 and non-acidemic group was 6.20±0.28 and it was not significant statistically. Also, in comparison of value in 2-D ED, acidemic group was 10.20±0.34. It was higher than non-acidemic group of 9.51±0.43 significantly in statistics(P=0.004). But, in comparison of value in 2-D EP, acidemic group was 8.78±0.86 and non-acidemic group is of 9.22±0.74 and it wasn't significant statistically. And, 2-D ED(DI) value was 10.64±0.14 for acidemic group and 10.51±0.18 for non-acidemic group, and it wasn't significant statistically.Conclusions: By the above result, nonlinear dynamics and chaotic analysis of heart rate data with computer can serve as a new diagnosis method which may estimate the fetal wellbeing with real time. Through further studies for establishment of diagnosis standard and computer programming, real time diagnosis method shall be applied to clinical practice.
