Idiopathic membranous glomerulonephritis (IMGN) is commonly diagnosed in adultswith proteinuria. Rapid deterioration of renal function is a rare complication of IMGN,except when accompanied by renal vein thrombosis, malignant hypertension, or otherunderlying disease, including lupus nephritis. Here, we present a case of rapid deteriorationof renal function in a patient with MGN superimposed with anti-neutrophil cytoplasmicantibody (ANCA)-associated rapidly progressive crescentic glomerulonephritis(RPGN). Overall, about 20 cases of MGN with ANCA-associated RPGN have beenreported. This case of biopsy-proven MGN with ANCA-associated RPGN is the firstto be reported in Korea.

Objective : This study was designed to evaluate the effects of oriental medicine therapy on a normal pressure hydrocephalus patient. Methods : The clinical data was analyzed on a patient with normal pressure hydrocephalus whose main symptoms were dementia, gait disturbance and urinary incontinence. The patient was admitted to the internal medicine department of Dong-shin University Oriental Hospital from December 7, 2002, and remaind until January 20, 2003. He was treated with herbal medicine(Yukmijiwhangtang), acupuncture and moxa therapy. Results : After treatment, improvement was seen in dementia, gait disturbance, and urinary incontinence. Conclusions : The study suggests that oriental medicine therapy is significantly effective on the treatment or normal pressure hydrocephalus.
경량기포콘크리트를 이용한 piled-raft 공법의 철도노반 적용성에 관한 연구

최근 저탄소 녹색성장이 대두되면서 정시적이고 안정적인 수송체제로서 철도의 관심이 고조되고 고속철도 등 철도의 건설이 지속적으로 진행되고 있으며 이에 따라 연약지반 위에 철도노반을 건설하는 사례가 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 부전-마산 복선전철사업 중 연약지반 상에 경량기포콘크리트를 이용한 piled-raft 공법의 철도노반 적용성에 관하여 실내실험 및 수치해석을 통하여 검증하였다. 수치해석 결과 경량기포콘크리트에 작용하는 응력은 압축강도의 6%인 0.02MPa로 나타났으며, 말뚝간격 2.5D, 3.5D에 따라서 1.1배 차이가 나타났다. 경량기포콘크리트를 이용한 piled-raft 공법을 철도노반에 적용할 경우 충분한 안정성을 확보할 수 있었고, 말뚝간격은 3.5D로 시공할 경우 충분한 안정성 및 경제성을 확보할 수 있었다. As low-carbon green growth is recently issued, the railway transportation system is receving an attention since it is clean, safe, and on time. The new construction of railway such as high-speed rail is also increased. As increase of railway construction, the construction case on the soft ground is getting increased. The possibility of pile-raft method is investigated for the project of Bujeon-Masan railway construction based on laboratory test and numerical analysis. The compression stress applied on light weight concrete from numerical analysis is only 6% of its compression strength measured from laboratory test. The difference of the magnitude of applied stress on pile head by varying pile spacing from 2.5D to 3.5D is 1.1 only this research results show that the piled-raft method with light weight concrete can be used for railway construction, and the spacing 3.5D of pile is adaptable with safety and economy.
