        Background and objectives:Endoscopic septoplasty is an easy and effective alternative to traditional headlight approach. Endoscopic septoplasty has its priority in septal spur and posterior deviation. If performed in combination with endoscopic sinus surgery, troublesome intraoperative surgical instrument change can be avoided. We performed 24 endoscopic septoplasty from January 2007 to July 2008, and result was promising. Methods and Methods:Postoperative chart review was performed. Patients were divided into three groups by their chief complain,nasal obstruction and rhinologic headache, and who underwent endoscopic sinus surgery at the same time was divided other group. Patients were interviewed regarding pre- and postoperative intensity of nasal obstruction and rhinologic headache, each, using the 0-10 visual analogue scale (VAS). Quality of life was evaluated using questionnaire. Results:16 men and 8 women underwent endoscopic septoplasty. Mean age was 32, mean postoperative follow up period was 3.9 months. There were no postoperative complication. Patients reported a decreased VAS score after surgery, by 7.45 to 2.1 in intensity of nasal obstruction, and 7.5 to 1.8 in frequency of nasal obstruction (p<0.05). In rhinologic headache group, intensity of headache showed decreased VAS scale by 7.24 to 1, and 9.75 to 1.75 in frequency of headache (p<0.05). Quality of life questionare showed improved score by 5.84 to 1.75 (p<0.05). Conclusions:Endoscopic septoplasty shows a fairly good surgical option,especially in focal septal deformity and posterior septal deviation. Postoperative morbidity was minimized by faster recovery, and better symptom relief. Proper indication of endoscopic septoplasty will become broader.

        음악 교육내용 영역에 따른 유아교사의 교수방법 실제에 대한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to survey teacher's practice for young children about music education content and teaching method for providing a foundation of consisting music education content and developing a music curriculum for young children. The subjects of this study were 208 teachers of children. The tool for this study is a questionnaire that is composing of music education content items, and teaching method items. The results are as follows: First, all the kindergarten teachers teach singing as music education content, but most of them don't teach music making were teaching as music education content. Second, most of kindergarten teachers don't consider teaching method applied music concept when they provide music activities for young children. Third, there is no difference of teacher's scholastic ability, but there is difference of teacher's career.

        학습주기와 놀이가 연계된 통합적 음악활동의 개발 및 유아의 음악적 개념과 태도에 미치는 효과

        본 연구의 목적은 학습주기와 놀이가 연계된 통합적 음악활동을 개발하고, 유아교육현장에 적용하여 유아의 음악적 개념과 태도에 미치는 효과를 평가하는 것에 있다. 본 연구는 이론적 연구단계를 통해 활동을 개발한 후 만 3, 4, 5세 유아 10명씩 30명을 대상으로 적용하여 수정 보완하였다, 개발된 음악활동을 만 3, 4, 5세 유아 127명에게 9주 동안 실시하여 개발된 음악활동이 유아의 음악적 능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하였다. 학습주기와 놀이가 연계된 통합적 음악활동은 만3, 4, 5세 유아의 음악적 개념과 태도에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. This research examines the effect of integrated music activity related to the learning cycle and play on young children's musical ability. Participants of this study consisted of 127 children including 3, 4, and 5 year olds. They were divided into 3 educational groups and 3 comparative groups. The educational groups participated in integrated music activity related to the learning cycle and play over a period of 9 weeks. The collected data were coded, computerized using the SPSS PC program, and analyzed by analysis of covariance(ANCOVA). The results indicated that there were significant differences between educational groups and comparison groups except 4- year old children's musical attitude. The educational groups which experienced integrated music activity related to the learning cycle and play showed a high improvement in their musical ability.

        한국 전통의례 교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식 및 실태 - 설과 추석 명절차례 교육 중심으로 -

        관혼상제로 대표되는 전통의례 중 제례교육과 관련하여 설·추석 명절은 매년 반복적으로 행해지는 전통의례로서 우리의 생활과 밀접한 관련이 있는 민족 대 명절이다. 유아기 명절차례 교육은 단지 전통사회 문화를 배우는 것에 그치는 것이 아니라 시대에 맞는 새로운 가치창조를 기대할 수 있는 교육적 효과가 있는 내용이다. 그러나 설·추석 명절을 세시풍속의 하나로 국한시켜, 유아교육기관에서는 단편적 민속놀이 형태로 다루고 있어 민족문화로서의 교육적 의미 전달이 미비한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 민족문화로서 전통의례 중 명절차례 교육의 가치를 고취시키고 유아교육현장에서 전통문화 교수법의 기초자료를 제공하기 위하여 유치원과 어린이집에 종사하는 교사 384명을 대상으로 전통의례와 명절차례 교육에 대한 유아 교사의 인식과 실태를 설문 조사하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 대부분의 유아교사의 전통의례 교육에 대한 관심은 보통의 수준이었고 연구 대상 교사들 중 63%가 전통의례교육을 실시하지 않고 있었다. 둘째, 명절차례 교육에 대한 인식은 높게 나타났으며, 5년 이상 경력 교사들이 명절차례에 대한 인식이 높았다. 셋째, 명절차례 교육의 실태는 낮았고, 대학원 이상의 학력교사들과 5년 이상 경력 교사들의 명절차례 교육 실태가 높게 나타났다. Lunar New Year's and Chuseok are annual holidays that involve important cultural traditions of Korean Society. Education of ancestral rites during early childhood does not only teach customs of traditional society but provide opportunity to learn novel values appropriate to our era. However, education of ancestral rites is limited to folk plays in current education institutions and can only have fragmented educational significance. This study conducted a surveyed 384 early childhood teachers from various kindergartens and nurseries to determine how they perceive and practice education of ancestral rites. The results were as follows. First, most early childhood teachers had moderate interest in education of ancestral rites but did not carry out this education in the field. Second, while awareness of ancestral rites education was high among teachers, early childhood teachers with 5 years longer work experience demonstrated higher interest in education of ancestral rites. Third, while practice of educating ancestral rites was low, teachers with more graduate education and 5 years work experience more likely practiced education of ancestral rites.

      • 놀이중심의 통합교육을 통한 유치원과 초등학교 교육 연계방안 : 누리과정과 2009 개정 초등교육과정을 중심으로

        본 연구의 목적은 누리과정과 2009 개정 초등교육과정을 분석하여 유치원과 초등학교 교육의 연계 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 누리과정과 2009 초등교육과정은 영역별 내용과 교과군 부분의 명칭이 연계되지 않았고, 목표진술에 있어서 누리과정은 신체운동, 건강, 의사소통, 사회관계, 예술경험, 자연탐구의 내용 영역별로 진술되어있고, 2009 초등교육과정은 자주인, 창의인, 문화인, 세계인과 같은 추구하는 인간상과 연계되어 진술되어 있다. 2009 초등교육과정의 특징은 학년군, 교과군, 창의적 체험활동으로 구성되어 학교 현장에 교육과정 운영의 자율권이 확대 되어졌다. 이에 유치원과 초등학교 교육의 연계 방안으로 역할놀이와 게임마인드 증진을 위한 게임과 같은 놀이중심 교육과정과 주제에 맞춰 교과와 다중지능영역을 분석하여 재구성한 주제 중심 통합교육과정 운영을 통한 교육의 연계 방안을 제안하며, 2009 초등교육과정이 함축하는 유치원과 초등학교 교육의 연계 가능성에 대한 초등학교 현장의 실천적 노력을 요구하였다.

        Hydroxyapatite를 이용한 흰 쥐 유양동 폐쇄술: 다양한 입자 크기의 Hydroxyapatite를 이용한 조직 병리학적 연구

        Background and ObjectivesZZMastoid obliteration is the technique developed to reduce cavity problems after canal wall down mastoidectomy. Different materials have been explored for the technique, and of the variety of materials that have been used for mastoid obliteration, hydroxyapatite has gained particular attention. Hydroxyapatite can be made into a specific particle size, which affects the postoperative result. The aim of this study is to evaluate the histopathologic findings of mastoids obliterated with various particle sizes of hydroxyapatite in the temporal bullae of rat. Materials and MethodZZRat bullaes were obliterated with hydroxyapatite and diversified into different particle sizes. In group 1, the mastoids were obliterated with Mimix® powder and in groups 2, 3, 4 with Bongros®. The particle sizes were 0.3-0.6 mm, 0.6-1.0 mm and 1.0-3.0mm each. After 3 months, the mastoids were examined under the microscope. ResultsZZIn group 1, a new bone was formed in a consecutive fashion from the mastoid wall toward the center of the mastoid; there was no inflammation, with the new bone formation constituting 15%. In group 2, 3, 4, the proportion of new bone formation was higher than in the group 1, and constituted 40%, 55% and 60%, respectively. Inflammation was more severe when the particle size became larger. ConclusionZZNew bone formation was faster if larger hydroxyapatite particles were used;however, inflammation also increased. The powder form of hydroxyapatite was slow in new bone formation, but there was little inflammation. We therefore think that the hydroxyapatite is a very safe material.         지속가능한 유아교육을 위한 유아교육과정 운영 의사결정구조

        The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for sustainable development education in early childhood education by examining the decision-making structure of early childhood curriculum management as the governance structure of ESG related to sustainable development. The results of examining the five factors in the decision-making structure of early childhood curriculum management, such as children, parents, national level curriculum, directors of early childhood education institutions, and teachers are as follows. Children are divided into maturationism, behaviorism, and constructivism according to the perspective of viewing the development of children, and their influence on the decision-making structure is determined. Based on the stewardship code, parents' demands are reflected in the national level curriculum and directors of early childhood education institutions to affect the decision-making structure. The national level curriculum affects the decision-making structure through a re-understanding of the play-centered curriculum that reflects the educational backgrounds and constructivist educational beliefs of early childhood teachers. Directors of early childhood education institutions affect the decision-making structure according to the type of institution. Finally, teachers affect the decision-making structure according to the process of reforming the national level curriculum and educational beliefs. Therefore, it was discussed that children, parents, national level curriculum, directors of early childhood education institutions, and teachers can affect the decision-making structure of early childhood curriculum according to their perspectives.
