진공흡착공정을 이용한 자동차 내장부품의 표피재 접착기술에 관한 연구

본 연구는 자동차 내장 부품에서 표피재에 열을 가하여 금형내에서 엠보싱을 생성하는 새로운 압착방법을 제안한다. 엠보싱 무늬가 없는 표피재를 상부 금형에서 진공으로 흡입시켜 흡입력에 의하여 무늬를 성형한 후 금형 을 닫아 사출물에 압착시키는 가열 압착 공법으로 엠보싱 무늬의 손상을 방지할 수 있다. 이 검증실험을 위하여 금 형과 시험장치를 개발하여 시작품을 제작한 후 실험을 통하여 성능을 분석 평가하였다. This study proposed the new pressing method under heat for the plastic automotive interior part in order to make embossing on the skin of the raw material of the part. The raw material is laid on the lower mold and it is pressed by the upper one with embossing shape. The air is suctioned from the inside of both molds for producing tension and making embossing shapes on the skin of the part without its breakage. The corresponding molds and test machines are made and the proposed manufacturing process is validated.

Trichophyton tonsurans에 의한 Black Dot Ringworm

Trichophyton tonsurans is a major causative agent of tinea capitis in the United States, Canada, Mezico and other Latin American countries, but the infection of T.tonsurans has not been reported in Korea. We report a case of tinea capitis caused by T. tonsurans in a 15-year-old student wrestler. He had a 3*3cm sized non-inflammatory alopecia with black dots on the right occipital area of the scalp. The diagnosis was established by a hght microscopic examination of the affected hairs and by mycological studies from cultures. To our knowledge, this is the first case in which T. tonsurans has been isolated in Korea, It is likely that the student acquired the infection through contact with a foreign wrestler during interaational games and practice. We should be concerned about the potential of spread of this infection in our country. (Korean J Dermatol 1998;36(5): 918-923)

Amphotericin B 크림 밀봉요법으로 치유된 색소분아진균증 1예

We report a case of chromoblastomycosis in a 65 year-old woman. She had a 3×4 cm sized, annular, erythematous, plaque with crusts and ulcers on the right lower arm. The lesion had grown slowly for 2 years. In fungal and histopathologic examinations, several muriform cells were found in dermis as well as in scales and crusts on the lesional skin surface. Isolated fungus was identified as Fonsecaea pedrosoi. We treated the patient occlusive dressing of amphotericin B (3%) ointment for 8 weeks and achieved a good response without any evidence of recurrence. We propose that the occlusive dressing therapy of amphotericin B cream is a good modality among the various treatments of small localized chromoblastomycosis. [Kor J Med Mycol 5(3): 144-149]

Trichophyton tonsurans에 의한 두부 독창 3예

We report three cases of kerion celsi caused by Trichophyton tonsurans in 16-year-old students of one high school wrestling team. The first case presented a 10×15cm and several 3~4cm sized, markedly inflammatory, boggy lesions on the scalp for 5 months. Other cases showed several 2~4cm sized, erythematous, follicular pustules and nodules with partial alopecia on the scalp for 2months. Histopathology and results of mycologic study were consistent with kerion celsi due to Trichophyton tonsurans. All lesions were successfully treated with griseofulvin 500mg daily for 7~15weeks and short term therapy of low dose of prednisolone and cephadroxil.

추간공 경유 경막외 차단술 환자의 합병증에 대한 조사 연구

Objective: To study on the incidence of complications from C-arm guided lumbar transforarninal epidural injections in patients with radiculopathy caused by either lumbar spinal stenosis or herniated intervertebral disc. Materials & Methods: A total of 1200 patients with back/leg pain for more 3 months and received therapeutic injections in recent 1-year period was evaluated. All procedures were performed by one neurosurgeon with careful monitoring by nursing staffs during and after the procedures. Two party observers reviewed medical charts including immediate postprocedure complications using standardized questionnaire. Results: Average 1.9 injections per patient were done. Complications per injection seen included 12 transient headaches (0.9%), 5 increased back pain(0.4%), 4 increased leg pain(0.3%), 4 facial flushing(0.3%), 2 increased blood sugar in an insulin-dependent diabetic(0.2%), I vasovagal reaction(0.08%), and I hypertension(0.08%). All of these complications resolved within several hours to 2 weeks and there were no need for further specific management. There were no major or permanent complications. The incidence of minor complications was 2.3% per injection. All reactions resolved without morbidity. Conclusion: Although effectiveness varies with different pathologies, the C-arm guided lumbar transforaminal epidural injection seems to be a safe and effective procedure for these patients when carefully performed and closely observed with appropriate nursing care.
