Nowadays, the development of sustainable transportation has been researched all over the world and Korea Railroad Research Institute (KRRI) is conducting a study in order to apply the sustainable Contactless Inductive Power Supply Technology to the electric railway system. But, inherent large flux leakage has limited the high power transmission because the gap of the Inductive Power Transformer(IPT) is much larger than one of the conventional transformers. In this study, a method to compensate the leakage flux and improve the power transmission by using LLC resonant inverter was proposed, incorporated in a built system, and verified by experimental work.
비만 환자의 한의복합치료 후 비만 개선 효과: 후향적 연구

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to observe the effect of improving obesity after 4 week complex Korean medicine treatment in obese patients by retrospectively analyzing. Methods: A retrospective chart review was conducted on 44 patients who received obesity treatment at 23 Korean medicine clinics in Daejeon city. We analyzed weight, body mass index (BMI), body fat percentage, body fat mass, muscle mass, hip and waist circumference, EuroQol-5D (EQ-5D), Korean version of obesity-related quality of life scale (KOQOL), and satisfaction surveys at 4 and 8 weeks after treatment. Results: The weight, BMI change after 4 weeks and 8 weeks was decreased significantly. In addition, there were significant differences in fat mass, muscle mass, waist circumference, and hip circumference. Life quality scale EQ-5D and KOQOL showed decreased significantly. In the evaluation of overall satisfaction, safety, help level, recommendation intention, and revisit intention, more than 89% answered positively that they were satisfied. There were no serious side effects. Conclusions: It was significant effect on weight loss and obesity improvement after complex Korean medicine. And quality of life evaluation and satisfaction survey also show positive results.

Objectives : This study aims to educate clinical doctors of the valuable practice of Manipulative Therapy(MT) as an opportunity for evidence-based medicine. Consequently it also serves to review the effectiveness and safety of MT. Methods : The literature studies of overseas were done by Cochrane Library and Medline website; those of domestic researches were completed by utilizing the sources which are gained from KERIS, KISS, DBpia, Kisti, and domestic institutes related with MT. Results : Eight papers related to the effectiveness of MT were published in South Korea, which concluded with the positive effects of MT. None of them are, however, well-designed randomized controlled trials(RCT). On the other hand, fifteen cases of nine articles indicate the adverse reaction of MT, and numbers of the researches in overseas revealed the side effects of MT in order of cervical, lumbar, and thoracic vertebrae. A vascular adverse reaction such as vertebral and carotid artery dissection was a highly reported cervical adverse reaction; in the thoracic and lumbar regions, neurological adverse reaction in terms of disc herniation was frequently discovered. Conclusions : Henceforth, highly qualitative studies are required developing the effective outcomes and preventing any possible complications of MT. Therefore, systemic curriculums in institutions and sufficient clinical training in the filed are strongly recommended.

전력 케이블에서 발생하는 손실을 정확히 예측하기 위해서는 금속 시스에서 발생하는 와전류 손실에 대한 분석이 필요하다. 동손의 경우 도체의 저항과 전류에 의하여 쉽게 계산이 되지만 금속 시스에서 발생하는 와전류의 경우 측정 및 예측이 어렵기 때문이다. 이를 위하여 선행연구에서는 단상 케이블에서 발생하는 와전류 손실을 분석하였지만 실제 환경에서는 3상이 대부분 사용되기 때문에 적용하기에는 한계가 존재한다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 3상 케이블의 금속 시스에서 발생하는 와전류 손실에 대하여 발생 원인에 따라 이론적으로 분석하고 전자기 수치 해석을 통하여 삼각 배열과 수평배열에서 발생하는 와전류 손실을 예측하였다. In order to accurately predict the losses in the power cable, analysis of the eddy current losses in the metal sheath is required. The copper loss is easily calculated by the resistance and current of the conductor, but it is difficult to measure and predict the eddy current generated from the metal sheath. For this purpose, the previous study analyzed the eddy current loss in single phase cable, but there is a limit to apply it because three phase cables are used in real environment. Therefore, in this paper, the eddy current loss occurring in the metal sheath of three phase cable according to the cause was analyzed theoretically. In addition, the eddy current loss occurring in the triangular and horizontal array were predicted through electromagnetic numerical analysis.

As interest in the reduction of energy loss has increased in recent years, analysis of losses in power cables is becoming more important. The overall loss in the transmission system can be measured, but there are many difficulties in researching the loss in each internal structure. There are various factors in the type of loss, and the loss of external factors by previous research has been studied. However, there is little research on the cable internal loss. Since the metal sheath inside the cable is made of aluminum having a high conductivity, an eddy current is generated due to the current flowing in the conductor, thereby causing an eddy current loss inevitably. In this paper, the eddy current loss in metal sheath of 154 kV Cable was researched through FEM (Finite Element Method) electromagnetic analysis. 최근 에너지 손실 저감에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라, 전력 케이블에서 발생하는 손실에 대한 예측이 중요해지고 있다. 송전 시스템에서 전체적인 손실은 측정이 가능하지만 각각의 내부 구조물에서 발생하는 손실에 대한 연구는 미비한 상황이다. 송전 손실에는 다양한 요인이 있고, 그 중 선행 연구에 의하여 주변 금구류와 같은 외부 요인들에 대한 손실은 연구가 진행되었지만 케이블 내부 손실에 대한 연구는 부족한 상황이다. 케이블 내부의 금속 Sheath는 높은 도전율을 가지는 알루미늄으로 제작되었기 때문에, 도체에 흐르는 전류에 의하여 와전류가 발생하게 되고, 이에 따라 와전류 손실이 필연적으로 발생하게 된다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 케이블의 금속 Sheath에서 발생하는 와전류 손실에 대하여 연구를 진행하였다.
