딥러닝 기반 객체 인식을 활용한 퍼스널 모빌리티 안전 보조 시스템 개발

Recently, the demand for the use of personal mobility vehicles, such as an electric kickboard, is increasing explosively because of its high portability and usability. However, the number of traffic accidents caused by personal mobility vehicles has also increased rapidly in recent years. To address the issues regarding the driver’s safety, we propose a novel approach that can monitor context information around personal mobility vehicles using deep learning-based object detection and smartphone captured videos. In the proposed framework, a smartphone is attached to a personal mobility device and a front or rear view is recorded to detect an approaching object that may affect the driver's safety. Through the detection results using YOLOv5 model, we report the preliminary results and validated the feasibility of the proposed approach.
Rheo-compocasting 및 Hot Pressing 에 의하여 제조한 Al-Si-Mg / Al2O3 단섬유강화 복합재료의 조직 및 인장특성

N/A Aluminum alloy matrix composites reinforced with various amounts of Al₂O₃ short fibers have been produced by rheo-compocasting accompanied by hot pressing. When composites reinforced with fibers are produced by rheo-compocasting, S-L process is the most effective method for homogeneous dispersion of fibers. A sound composites with the improved orientation(3 dimension→2 dimension) of the fibers and increased volume fraction of them have been fabricated through the hot pressing of the casted composites. Fibers are broken down when rheo-compocasting, hot pressing, and T_6 treating. Among them fibers are broken down most heavily in the hot pressing. And even in the case of the composite reinforced with 30vol% fibers, which showed the hardest fiber break down, aspect ratio(11.6) is higher than critical aspect ratio(10.7). The fiber strengthening effect in the composites has showed up to 573K. As the test temperature increases to the range of 573K, the effect has been higher. The fracture of composites is controlled by fiber from room temperature to 473K, but the fracture of composites is controlled by interface between fiber and matrix alloy above 473K.
A Review of Research on Social Network Services Using the New Media Evolutionary Model

The purpose of this paper is to indicate possible future research directions for social network services(SNS) by reviewing past and recent trends in SNS studies. The framework used for the analysis is the New Media Evolutionary Model(NMEM) proposed by Wimmer and Dominick, a four-phase system for research on new media development. Although early forms of SNS emerged in the late 1990s, most research in this field has been published in the past five years. We searched for SNS-related articles published from 2006 to August 2011 from academic journal archives in information systems, communication, marketing, and other fields, and classified them according to the NMEM to analyze the current state of SNS research. Researchers in this field have so far focused on the first two phases of the model(the media itself and use of the media), but little research has been conducted on the third(effects of the media) and fourth phases(improvements in the media). Although SNS research is still in its early stages, we suggest the need for more studies on the effects of SNS and how it can be improved. Very few studies test existing theories or build new theories related to SNS. Thus, a more rigorous approach towards SNS research is warranted, and future research should focus on theory building and testing.
특허분석을 통한 인공지능 기술 분야 경쟁력 분석:특허 시장성과 기술력 질적 분석을 중심으로

Purpose Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a core technology, leading the 4th industrial revolution. This study aims to diagnose the Korean's national competitiveness for AI technologies through patent analyses. Design/methodology/approach In this study, KIWEE and Derwent Innovation databases were used as data source of patents. we extracted 10,510 AI patents data with keywords and classified them into 15 subcategories of AI technology. We executed patent analyses for activity index, patent intensity index, technology strength, and patent family size and diagnosed Korea's national competitiveness in AI industry. Findings The results showed that Korea is less competitive than the United States and Japan in AI industry. However, patent amount has increased since 2010, which is encouraging result. This study has implication on the need for human and R&D investment in AI industry.

컴퓨터와 인터넷, 스마트폰 등 IT 기술의 발전은 우리의 생활에 많은 영향을 미치고 있다. 즉 아날로그로 형태로 된 콘텐츠는 디지털이라는 형태로 변환되거나, 처음부터 디지털 생산되어 유 통되고 이용자들에 의해 이용되고 있다. 이러한 변화는 통상환경에도 영향을 미치게 되었으며, 그 변화를 가장 잘 반영하고 있는 협상이 최근 미국이 주도했던 TPP와 USMCA라고 할 수 있다. 이 두 협정에서 미국은 2000년 이후 디지털 시대의 저작권 보호를 위해 마련한 규정들을 대부분 반영하였으며, 이를 통해 자국의 저작권을 보호하려는 의지를 견고히 하였다. 이에 이들 협정을 중심으로, 특히 디지털콘텐츠의 보호를 위해 어떠한 규정들을 반영하고 있는지에 대해서 살펴봄 으로써 향후 통상에 관한 미국의 입장을 파악할 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 미국의 디지털콘텐츠를 대하는 자세는 향후 통상환경에도 많은 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상된다. 이에 따라 미국 혹은 다른 주요 선진국의 통상정책변화를 선제적으로 파악하고, 우리나라에 산업발전에 유리한 협상방안을 마련함으로써 향후 유리한 협상을 해 나갈 것이라 생각한다. 본 연구를 통해 기술의 발달, 디지 털환경으로의 전환에 따른 환경변화에 대응한 우리의 자세를 다시한번 검토해 보았다는데 본 연 구의 의의가 있다 하겠다. The development of IT technologies such as computers, the Internet, and Smartphones has a lot of influence on our lives. New digital content is generated or analog content is converted into digital content and is being distributed and used. These changes also had an impact on the trade environment and were reflected in the TPP and USMCA, which were recently led by the US. In these two agreements, the US has reflected most of the regulations that the US has established for copyright protection in the digital age. The US has affirmed its commitment to copyright protection. Therefore, focusing on TPP and USMCA, we would like to examine what regulations have been reflected to protect digital contents. Therefore, we will be possible to determine the direction of response for each issue. And we will develop countermeasures for each issue in the FTA with the United States.
