        파도타기 척수병증 - 증례 보고 -

        Study Design: A case report. Objectives: To report a rare cause of non-traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) during surfing Summary of Literature Review: Surfer’s myelopathy is a non-traumatic SCI associated with the hyperextension posture during paddling in surfing. Although the definite pathomechanism has not been identified, cord ischemia followed by arterial infarction may be related to this injury. Materials and Methods: A young healthy male patient presented with a SCI that occurred during his first time surfing. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed a T2-hyperintense lesion in the spinal cord from D10 to the conus medullaris. Results: The patient completely recovered without any neurologic deficits after steroid therapy and other forms of supportive management. Conclusions: Since surfing is becoming more common in Korea, awareness of surfer’s myelopathy is important for early diagnosis and proper management. 연구 계획: 증례 보고목적: 서핑 중 발생한 비외상성 척수손상의 증례를 보고하고자 한다. 선행 연구문헌의 요약: 파도타기 척수병증은 노젓기 동작을 시행하는 과정에서 척추의 과신전으로 발생하는 비외상성 척수손상으로 정확한 원인은 알려져 있지 않으나, 척수의 혈행장애에 따른 허혈성 손상이 관련되어 있을 것으로 생각하고 있다. 대상 및 방법: 건강한 19세 남자 환자가 처음 파도타기 중 발생한 척수손상으로 내원하였다.수상 후 촬영한 자기공명검사에서 제 10흉추부터 척수원뿔까지 T2 강조 영상에서 신호의 증가가 관찰되었으나, 수상 5일째 추시 촬영에서는 병변의 신호 강도가 감소하였다. 결과: 스테로이드 치료를 포함한 대증적 치료 후 완전한 신경학적 회복을 얻었다. 결론: 국내에서도 파도타기 인구가 점차 증가함에 따라 적절한 진단 및 치료를 위하여 파도타기 척수병증에 대한 이해가 필요하다. 약칭 제목: 파도타기 척수병증

      • 발암기전에 미치는 세포주기 조절 단백질들의 역할

        the cell cycle is composed of g1, s, g2 and m phase. the transitions between different phases are regulated at checkpoint such as start(restriction), s phase and mitotic checkpoint. these checkpoints are regulated by specific cyclins and cdks(cyclin-dependent kinases). especially, start checkpoint in late g1 is though to be very important in control of cell cycle. in this study, it was shown various cdkn(p16ink4a) alteration, including deletions, mutations, down regulations, and performed differential expression of p53, cdk4, pcna and prb in stomach cancer tissues. 1. the frequency of cdkn2 mutations was not observed in the 19 primary shomach cancer tissues. in contrast to the mutations of cdkn2, mrna levels was showed by northern blot analysis that expression of cdkn2 was absent or decreased in 10 of the 19(53%) primary stomach adenocarcinoma. western blot analysis was performed to determine the differential expression of p53, cdk4, pcna related to start checkpoint. overexpression of p53 was shown 38%, cdk4 was expressed in all each specimens, and expression of pcna was not shown. 2. as the other method to determine the differential expression of p53, cdk4, pcna and prb, immunohistochemical analyses were performed on each 14 formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded tumor tissues of stomach adenocarcinoma. p53 overexpression was showed to clear nuclear staining only in tumor cells not in nonneoplastic cells. in staining for cdk4, the tumor was considered to be cdk4 positive if there was nuclear staining in tumor cells, regardless of cytoplasmic staining. pcna staining for carcinoma tissues showed more intense nuclear staining in tumor cells than in nonneoplastic cells. prb overexpression was show in tumor cells. significant differences were observed in the expression of the proteins among the cancers from different anatomic site. overexpression of adenocarcinomas had high rate of p53(57.1%) and prb(71.4%), and low late of cdk4(7,1%) and pcna(14.3%). as these results, deletion of cdkn2 gene in human stomach cancer was not observed but mrna expression was down regulated in restriction checkpoint, g1 phase. inactivation of the cdkn2 gene due to hypermethylation may play an important role in development of cancer. and one of the abnormalities in p53, cdk4, pcna or prb function occurs very common in various cancers, especially oral adenocarcinoma, osteosarcoma and squemous cell carcinogenesis and progression of cancers.

      • DB산업은 정부 차원의 정책적 육성 필요

        데이터베이스(DB) 산업은 디지털콘텐츠 산업의 근간을 이루는 것으로서 그 중요성이 있다. 특히 디지털화 된 DB는 정보 사회의 경쟁력을 가늠하는 척도일 수도 있다. 우리나라는 디지털콘텐츠 산업이 매우 발전한 나라라고 할 수 있으나 그 근간인 DB산업은 도외시하는 경향이 있다. 이는 눈앞에 당장의 수익이 보장되지 않기 때문인데 수익성이 결여된다고 하더라도 반드시 필요한 DB는 국가적인 차원에서 육성할 필요가 있다. 산업의 장래성은 그 기초가 튼튼해야 지속적인 생명을 유지할 수 있는 법이다. 이에 현재 DB 산업의 현황을 살펴보고 미래의 전망을 살펴보고자 한다.

        이번에 한국데이터베이스진흥센터가 SK텔레콤을 비롯한 12개 기관 19명으로 구성된 참관단을 구성하여 National Online Meeting과 newMedia 2000 을 참관하게 되었다. 이번 참관의 목적은 정보서비스의 발전 현황을 파악하여 선진기술을 습득하고 업체간 협력관계 충전을 도모하는 것이었다. 5월 16일부터 5월 18일가지 미국 뉴욕 힐튼호텔에서 열렸던 National Online Meeting은 올해로 21번째를 맞이하는 북미 최대의전자정보 전시회이고 newMedia 2000은 5월 16일부터 18일까지 카나다 토론토 컨벤션 센터에서 개최된 전시회로 올해로 9회째를 맞는 뉴미디어와 멀티미디어 제품을 전시하는 북미 최대의 전시회이다.

        복합운동이 폐경 후 비만 여성의 인슐린 저항성, 렙틴, GLP-1에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of combined exercise program for 11 weeks on insulin resistance, leptin, GLP-1 in post menopause obesity women, aged 55 to 65 years by dividing them into a exercise group(n=12) and control group(n=12). The combined exercise which was composed treadmill and elastic band conducted three times a week for 11 weeks for 60 minutes per session. The intensity of treadmill walking exercise was comprised at 40-49%HRR for 1-4 weeks, 50-59%HRR for 5-8 weeks, and 60-69%HRR for 9-11 weeks. Elastic band exercise were performed with a low intensity of OMNI-RES 3-4 at 1-4 weeks, a medium intensity of OMNI-RES 5-6 at 5-8 weeks, and a high intensity of OMNI-RES 7-8 at 9-11 weeks. Statistical analysis was utilized SPSS 22.0 and p.<05 value was used for significance. We used two-way repeated measures ANOVA to determine the interaction between groups and times. Also, the difference between the results of pre and post parameters was calculated by paired t-test in each groups and independent t-test was utilized for demonstrate the significant difference between exercise group and control group. The results of the glucose, insulin, HOMA-IR showed a interactions between groups and times. The difference between the pre and post exercise periods was significant decreased in the exercise group, and showed significant difference in the amount of variation between groups after 11 weeks. The results of the leptin showed a interactions between groups and times. The difference between the pre and post exercise periods was significant decreased in the exercise group, and showed significant difference in the amount of variation between groups after 11 weeks. The results of the GLP-1 showed a interactions between groups and times. The difference between the pre and post exercise periods was significant decreased in the exercise group, and showed significant difference in the amount of variation between groups after 11 weeks. Therefore, it is concluded that 11 weeks of combined exercise including treadmill walking and elastic band exercise had a positive effect on insulin resistance, leptin, GLP-1 in post menopause obesity women. 본 연구는 11주간의 복합운동이 인슐린 저항성, 렙틴, GLP-1에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위하여 만 55세 이 상 65세 미만의 폐경이 2년 이상 지난 비만 여성을 대상으로 운동군(n=12), 대조군(n=12)으로 구분하여 실시 하였다. 트레드밀 걷기운동과 탄력밴드운동으로 구성된 복합운동은 11주간 주 3회, 1회당 60분으로 실시하였 다. 트레드밀을 이용한 걷기운동 방법은 1-4주는 40-49%HRR, 5-8주는 50-59%HRR, 9-11주는 60-69%HRR로 실시하였다. 탄력밴드운동은 1-4주는 OMNI-RES 3-4의 저강도, 5-8주는 OMNI-RES 5-6의 중강도, 9-11주는 OMNI-RES 7-8의 고강도로 실시하였다. 측정 변인들에 대한 그룹 및 시기 간 상호작용을 검증하기 위하여 two-way repeated measures ANOVA로 처리하였고, 측정된 자료의 그룹 내 차이는 paired t-test, 그룹 간 차이는 independent t-test를 실시하였다. 통계적 유의수준은 .05로 설정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 인슐린 저항 성에 대하여 글루코스, 인슐린, HOMA-IR은 그룹×시기 간 상호작용 효과가 나타났다. 운동 전·후 시기 간 차 이에서 운동군이 11주 후 유의하게 감소하였으며 그룹 간 차이는 11주 후 변화량에서 유의한 차이가 나타났 다. 또한, 렙틴은 그룹×시기 간 상호작용 효과가 나타났고, 운동 전·후 시기 간 차이에서 운동군이 11주 후 유의하게 감소하였으며 그룹 간 차이는 11주 후 변화량에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. GLP-1은 그룹×시기 간 상호작용 효과가 나타났고, 시기 간 주효과가 나타났다. 운동 전·후 시기 간 차이에서 운동군이 11주 후 유의 하게 감소하였으며 그룹 간 차이는 11주 후 변화량에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때 11주간의 트레드밀 걷기운동과 탄력밴드운동으로 구성된 복합운동이 폐경 후 비만 중년여성의 인슐린 저 항성, 렙틴, GLP-1에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 사료 된다.

        저출력 레이저 광선이 백서 설창상 치유에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to observe the histopathologic effect on tissue tongue damages following soft laser irradiation. For this study, 42 rats, weighting 180-200gm, were divided into two groups, as experimental group 21 and control group 21. Under general anesthesia with inhalation of ethyl ether, the tongue wounds, approximately 1.5㎜ in depth abd 7㎜ in length, were created on the lateral border of the tongue on right side and crater-like tongue wound which was approximately 7㎜ in length by straight electrosurgical tip was made on left side. Wounds of experimental group were irradiated with As Ga laser (STOMALASER, Sedatelec Co., France) every other day by fourteen day. The animals were sacrificed at every 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 14, days after wounding and the specimen were sectioned, stained and observed with light microscope. The obtained results from this study were as follows. 1. Overall healing pattern of the wound of the experimental group irradiated with laser was better than that of the control group. 2. Epithelial recovery of wound by surgical blade was shown primary healing procedure at the first day in experimental group and at the third day in control group and the secondary healing was shown similarly in experimental and control group. But the healing pattern was better in experimental group. 3. Recovery of the muscle fibers at the wounds were rapid in the experimental group than the control group and was occured similar to the normal pattern in the tenth day.

      • 무선 센서네트워크를 이용한 원격 돈사 관리 시스템 구현

        이 논문에서는 무선 센서 네트워크를 이용해서 축사내 환경을 모니터링하고 최적의 환경을 유지하기 위해 축사내 환경조절 장치를 원격으로 제어하는 시스템을 구현한다. 개발하는 시스템은 축사내 환경 모니터링을 위한 센서 노드들과 센서 노드들이 수집한 데이터를 수신하는 싱크노드, 싱크노드로부터 데이터를 수신하여 환경 정보를 모니터링 하여 이상이 발생할 경우 환경 조절장치를 제어하는 제어기로 구성된다. 또한, 축사에 설치된 제어기로부터 센싱된 데이터를 수집하여 저장하고, 원격으로 제어기의 설정을 변경하고 확인하는 서버 및 클라이언트 소프트웨어로 구성된다. In this paper, we develop remote control and monitoring system to optimize the environment factors of piggery using wireless sensor network. Our developed system consists of wireless sensor nodes sensing temperature and humidity, sink node gathering data from sensor nodes and controller to activate environment control system whenever th data from sensors is out of optimal range. Also, the developed system consists of a server to receive data from the controller and send new configuration to the controller and a client to present the information of piggery to users.

      • Al-Mn 합금 압출소재의 가공경화에 의한 부식특성 연구

        This research shows mechanical hardening effects on the temper of a material and the corrosion properties of an Al-Mn alloy (3xxx series). Manganese is the major alloying element of 3xxx series alloys. These alloys are generally non-heat treatable. which are widely used as general-purpose alloys for moderate-strength applications requiring good workability. External stress of work hardening makes plastic strain, grain refinement and dislocation hardening. Increased dislocation density and tangled dislocations disturb a slip. These grain structural characteristics are one of the important factors to determine the corrosion lifetime of the material. The relationship of these corrosion properties on the work hardening has been investigated by performing SST(salt spray test), Potentiometer, ECT(eddy current test) and micro-Vickers hardness test.
