      • 대청댐 유역의 호우 거동 특성에 관한 연구

        The storm movement influences the shape of the runoff hydro-graph. The recent development of distributed and semi-distributed model for the conversion of rainfall in to runoff has renewed the interest in problems related to moving storms. One of these is the determination of the speed and direction of storm movement from field data. The speed and direction of movement of rainfall patterns, assumed constant during and given storm, can be derived data sets comprised of the coordinates (x. y) of a number of the recorded hyetographs. Since rainfall hyetographs at different stations are not identical, it is necessary to select some easily identified feature of the hyetograph as a basis for determining the time of arrival of rainfall at the various gauges. In this study, the analysis technique based on the corrected three stations method. The method takes data from a network of continuously recording rain-gauges and is based on minimizing the sum of the squared deviations between the observed arrival times T for the rain-gauges and values t computed by the equation of the inclined plane. In the method, the value were taken by three values of times of arrival for each station and for each storm. The three features used for the definition of arrival times are T_(c) the time to the centroid of the hyetograph, T_(m), the time to the median (50%) of the hyetograph, and T_(p) the time of highest rainfall intensity. The modern rainfall input should be based on the recognition of rainfall kinematics and it should contain the movement parameters. The, parameters must be extracted from the rainfall data or taken from other phenomena such as wind movement at high altitude. It is estimated for the speed and direction of the moving storm in the Daechong dam catchment. The relationship between storm and high-altitude wind, movement parameters is estimated. The results show that the relationship between the direction of storm S_(d) and the direction of wind W_(d) is S_(d)= 22.558 + 0.919. W_(d) and the relationship between the speed of wind W_(s) and the speed of storm S_(s) is S_(s)=6.526 + 0.612. W_(s).

      • 고로슬래그를 굵은골재로 사용한 콘크리트강도에 관한 연구

        Blast furnace, by-product of iron industry has widely used as reclamation materials for pavement or harbour construction. The studies which make blast furnace slag use as aggregates for concrete have being actived owing to natural aggregates insufficiency. In order to use air cooled blast furnace slag as a coarse aggregate for concrete which was fixed to 440kg, 400kg, 360kg, 320kg, 280kg, 240kg of cement content were performed. This study is aimed to ascertain the feasibility of utilizing the concreate with crushed slag aggregates and to find specific properties such as slump air content, compresive strength, tensile strength, bending strength. The results of this study are summarised as follows; 1. On the base of 320kg of unit cement weight the strength according to each dry day are similar in the condition of 45% of w/c whereas in the condition of 50% of w/c the strength of 7-days are similar, but the strength of 28-days are different. 2. In the relation of δ25 - c/w, the strength of slag concrete is greater than that of crushed storn concrete in condition of epual c/w except 400kg/㎥. 3. Slag of concrete as aggregate is destoryed with mortar. 4. The relation of δ28 and tensile strength is very good(γ = 0.8), the equation of regression analysis is δt= 0.63+0.00598 × 28. 5. The reation of bend strength and w/c is liner(γ = 0.72) the equation of regression analysis is δb=80-0.69w/c. 6. It must be care to abtain equal workability to natual aggregate concrete because the change of water absorption is greate. The water content of slag concrete is more than that of crushed storn concrete to obtain the same workability. It must be careful to use blast furnace slag as a coarse aggregate for concrete. And after investgating the quality of demended concrete carefully, real mixing work must be done.

      • 감수곡선을 이용한 섬진강댐 유역 유출 예측

        The rainfall-runoff in a catchment is predicted by tank model using recession curves. The water tank has a horizontal cross-section area, which is a function of the water depth and which may be determined from the recession curves of flood hydrographs. The rate of runoff and the time lag between rainfall and runoff were determined from rainfall and hydrograph. The model is applied to Sumjindam catchment for predicting flood response to rainfall events. The results found from the model are in good agreement with the observed data. The parameters of the model have physical meanings of the catchment.

      • Pilot plant와 Jar test를 이용한 응집제 LAS와 PAC의 수처리 효과 비교

        Juam raw water was used to investigated water treatment efficiency in terms of coagulants and experiment types as jar-test and lab-scale pilot plant. pH of treated water was about 0.1~0.2 high when pilot plant was used than when jar-test was used in all of coagulants as liquid aluminium sulfate(LAS) and poly aluminium chloride(PAC). In comparing pH of surface water between in actual precipitation process with in pilot plant precipitation process when LAS was used, variation range of pH was 0.16 in pilot plant process whereas 0.04 in actual process. In comparing color, turbidity, zeta-potential, aluminium of precipitated surface water, it showed same results in all of coagulants as PAC and LAS and all of processes. In comparing alkalinity of the water, PAC showed alkalinity was 2∼3ppm higher than when LAS was used because of coagulants' characteristics as Al2O3 contents. Langarier indices as Corrosive index were -2.95 in LAS and -2.66 in PAG, which means PAC has less corrosive than LAS. In, comparing the removal of algae using LAS and PAC in jar-test and pilot plant, the removal rates were 80% in jar-test and 75% in pilot plant. The rate was improved to 90% after when incline baffles were used. Therefore, PAC is appropriate in considering prevention of corrosion, on the other side, LAS is appropriate in considering economy.

        유산증에 의해 은폐된 심한 저혈당 1예

        Severe hypoglycemia induces neuroglycopenic symptoms, including mental alteration, as glucose is the exclusive fuel for the central nervous system. However, some reports have shown that non-glucose fuels, like lactates and ketones, could be utilized by the brain during severe hypoglycemia. Herein, a case of extreme hypoglycemia in a 44-year old woman, subsequently diagnosed as congestive heart failure accompanied by ischemic hepatitis and lactic acidosis, is presented. In two episodes of extreme hypoglycemia, she was fully alert without obvious neurological deficits. In this unusual case, an increased supply of lactate might have maintained the cerebral function and prevented cerebral injury during the hypoglycemia that was induced as a result of starvation and hepatic and cardiac dysfunctions. 저자들은 44세 여자 환자에서 포도당 공급 부족, 심부전, 간부전 등에 의하여 심한 저혈당이 유발되었으나 유산증이 동반된 상태에서 뇌세포의 유산 이용의 증가로 의식 소실 및 뇌손상이 방지된 것으로 판단된 증례 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고한다.

        동복호 조류군집의 다녀간 변화에 관한연구

        The algae in Dongbok reservoir consists of 6 class, 14 orders, 30 families, 63 genera, 145 species, 13 varieties, and 1 formula in 159 taxa during jan. 1995 to Dec. 1999. Species numbers according to major taxa were appeared as Chlorophyceae 80 taxa, Bacillariophyceae 28 taxa, and Cyanophyceae 17 taxa. The ratio of total standing crops were Bacillariopyceae 44%, Cyanophyceae 30%, and Chlorophyceae 225. Various species remarkably appeared during fall to early winter comparing with other seasons. Stnading crops of algae decreased from 1.1~3.7 million units/$\ell$ in 1995 to below 1.0 million n\\units/$\ell$ ever after 1996. Species number was very variable as 9~37 in down stram comparing with 12~34 in middle stream, 15~24 in upper stream. Species diversity indices were 1.1~4.0 in 1995, 1.5~3.5 in 1996~1997, 2.1~3.6 in 1998, and 0.3~3.4 in 1999. Dominant indices were 0.35~0.97 in 1995, 0.44~0.86 in 1996, 0.43~0.89 in 1997, 0.39~0.80 in 1998, and 0.45~0.97 in 1999.

        농부가 아닌 환자에서 발생한 긴털가루진드기(Tyrophagus Putrescentiae)에 의한 기관지천식 1례

        Storage mites are believed one of the most important allergens in farmers and rural regions. Tyrophagus putrescenitiae, belonging to storage mites, is found not only within storehouses but also in the house dust, and the third most common mites following Dematophagoides farinae and Dermatophagoides pteronyssnus in house dust in Korea. The sensitization rate to Trophagus putrescentiae was reported as high as that of house dust mite in patients visiting the allergy clinic in large cities in Korea. We experienced a 69-year-old man who had suffered from dyspnea, wheezing, and coughing for 10 years. He retired from the teaching profession, and had lived in a large city. Deajeon. The skin prick test showed a positive reaction to Tyrophagus putrescentiae and negative reactions to house dust mites. The bronchial challenge test with Tyrophagus putrescentiae showed late asthmatic reaction. We confirmed a Tyrophagus putrescentiae induced asthma in non occupational setting.
