Primary malignant melanoma of vagina is a rare tumor which is easily misinterpretated in routine cytologic examination. We lately experienced a case of primary malignant melanoma of the vagina with direct cervical extension diagnosed by Pap smear. The cervicovaginal smear showed variable sized clusters of epithelial cells or singly scattered abnormal epithelial cells. Most of the tumor cells had round hyperchromatic nuclei with prominent nucleoli and brownish pigments in cytoplasm. The cytologic findings are compared with histologic features of resected specimen.

Purpose : The aims of this study are to investigates the levels of Cultural Competency of Korean Army nurse officers and to identify the factors influencing on Cultural Competency. Methods : A cross-sectional descriptive survey design was used. Data were collected from 238 nurse officers in seven Korean military hospitals in December, 2016. Cultural Competence Scale, Compassionate Competence Scale and Professional Self-Concept of Nurses Instrument were used. Results : The Cultural Competency of Korean Army nurse officers was significantly different due to factors such as foreign language fluency(p=.015), experience of living abroad for more than a month(p<.001), caring experience of foreign patients(p=.001), presence of foreign friends(p<.001). There were significant correlations between cultural competency, compassionate competence and professional self-concept(p<.001). In the multiple linear regression analysis, the significant factors influencing cultural competency of nurse officers were compassionate competence (p<.001), presence of foreign friends(p<.001), professional self-concept(p=.002) and experience of living abroad(p=<.033). These factors explained 32.8%(p=.001) of this model. Conclusion : In order to improve cultural competency of nurse officers, It is necessary to develop the multicultural education program includes compassionate competence and professional self-concept.

Purpose : The purpose of this correlational survey is to investigate junior nursing officers` confidence and performance frequency of core basic nursing skills and their clinical competency. Methods : The data were collected from 208 junior nursing officers with structured questionnaires between April 12 and May 8. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson`s correlation coefficient using SPSS. Results : Confidence and performance frequency of core basic nursing skills and clinical competency of the participants were 4.16±.69, 2.56±.57, and 4.32±.44 respectively. There was a significant difference in performance frequency of core basic nursing skills depending on years since commission and place of work. And there was a significant difference in clinical competency depending on specialty. There were statistically positive correlations among junior officers` confidence and performance frequency of core basic nursing skills and clinical competency. Conclusion : The study results suggest that it is necessary to develop stepwise education strategies for clinical practice including core basic nursing skills in consideration of place of work and roles of junior nursing officers.

본 연구는 초등학교 고학년 학생들의 리더십 특성을 알아보기 위해 성차에 따른 리더십의 차이를 알아보고, 다중지능과 리더십의 관계를 밝히는 것을 연구의 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상으로는 부산시내 소재하는 P초등학교 6학년 남녀학생 198명으로 하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 초등학생의 리더십은 성별에 따른 차이가 있었으며, 여학생이 남학생에 비해 리더십이 높았다. 둘째, 리더십과 다중지능은 관계가 있었으며 자기이해지능, 대인관계지능, 언어지능의 순서로 중요한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 리더십의 각 하위요인과 다중지능은 관계가 있었으며, 리더십의 각 하위요인과 관련되는 다중지능은 다소 다른 특징을 보였지만, 자기이해지능, 대인관계지능, 언어지능, 논리수학지능, 신체운동지능이 종요한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 상대적으로 연구가 많이 이루어지지 않은 초등학생을 대상으로 리더십의 성차를 알아보고, 리더십과 다중지능의 관계를 밝혀 교육의 시사점을 찾고자 하였다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다. Tills study aimed to examine the differences of leadership according to children`s gender and relation between multiple intelligence and leadership. The subject of this study was 198 sixth graders in elementary school, located in Pusan. To acquire the data, leadership life skills test. and multiple intelligences test were used, The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, MANOV A and standard multiple regression analysis. The results Were as followings. First there was significant. differences between boys` and girls` leadership. Girls` leadership is higher than boys`, Second, there was significant positive relationship between multiple intelligences, and leadership of elementary school. Verbal linguistic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence were strongly related with leadership. Third, there was some relations between leadership`s factors and multiple intelligences. The findings of the study are expected to be of use for the development and implementation of leadership programs tailored to the characteristic of elementary school students and geared toward improving their leaderships.
쓰기 활용 칭찬프로그램이 초등학생의 대인관계 및 자아존중감에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 세 가지 유형의 쓰기 활용 칭찬 프로그램이 초등학생들의 대인관계와 자아존중감을 향상시키는지 검증하고, 이를 교육 현장에 활용하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 칭찬카드와 온라인 칭찬활동을 통해 세 가지 유형(언어적 강화, 격려, 사회적 인정)의 칭찬을 주고받도록 하는 쓰기 활용 또래칭찬 프로그램을 구안하였다. 연구 대상은 부산광역시 T 초등학교 6학년 2개 학급 학생 50명이었으며, 두 학급 중 1개 학급은 실험집단으로 다른 학급은 통제집단으로 선정하였다. 실험집단의 25명 학생들에게는 재량활동시간에 쓰기 활용 칭찬훈련 프로그램을 매주 1회씩 11주에 걸쳐 실시하였고, 통제집단 학생들은 정규교육과정에 따라 재량활동을 하였다. 대인관계검사와 자아존중감 검사를 사전·사후에 실시한 후 효과정도를 공변량분석 (ANCOVA)을 통해 살펴보았다. 쓰기 활용 칭찬프로그램은 초등학생들의 대인관계를 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 의사소통과 민감성의 하위영역에 있어서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 그러나 자아존중감에 있어서 유의한 차이가 없었다. 이는 쓰기 활동으로 구성된 칭찬프로그램의 특징으로 인해 말하기 활동의 칭찬프로그램에 비해 자아존중감을 향상시키는데 단기적인 효과는 보이지 못하는 것으로 보인다. The purpose of this study was to improve affirmative self-esteem and desirable social relationship of sixth grade students through developing written praise activity program and adapting it. The program was developed with three types of praises in written based praise activities. The first type of praise, verbal reinforcement is general praise and second type of praise is encouragement. The third type of praise is social recognition which affects not only for recipients but also others. The experiment was carried out with two classes on the 6th grade at T elementary school in Busan with being divided into one experimental group and another comparative group. The three types of written praise program was executed once a week for 11 weeks and each class was continued for forty minutes. This program was composed with on-line activities and off-line activities using praise cards. Each groups of 25 students were asked to complete the questionnaire about self-esteem and personal relationship. Data were analysed using SPSS and the statistic was conducted through ANCOVA for the difference group. The results showed significant improvement of personal relationship. However, there was no meaningful change in experimental and comparative group on self-esteem. Consequently, three types of written praise program will have a meaningful effect of improving a desirable personal relationship.
