교원 교육과정 연수의 교육과정 문해력 수준 분석 연구 : 2015개정 교육과정 교원 연수를 중심으로

        박태은 ( Park¸ Taeeun ),홍후조 ( Hong¸ Hoo-jo ),김한승 ( Kim¸ Hanseung ),임태원 ( Lim¸ Taewon ),정희엽 ( Jung¸ Heeyeop ) 안암교육학회 2021 한국교육학연구 Vol.27 No.3

Today's curriculum paradigm emphasizes the curriculum at the school level by providing customized education that meets the needs of students' interests, aptitude, and career pathways. At this time, teachers' understanding of the curriculum is essential for the establishment and operation of effective curricula, and the need for education is emerging to foster them. Against this background, this study divided the core teacher training program hosted by the Ministry of Education from 2017 to 2020 into themes, contents, and methods of education, and the level of curriculum literature. According to the results of the study, the curriculum training program for 2017 and 2018 during the introduction of the 2015 revised curriculum was provided with a functional and comprehensive level of curriculum comprehension program. Since then, the 2019 training period, which is the expansion period of the curriculum, has been organized with the literacy of the curriculum as its core keyword, and the literacy level of the curriculum has been adjusted from functional to critical. Finally, in 2020, when the 2015 revised curriculum was fully implemented, the main focus was on education through the expansion of remote education due to COVID-19, and the critical level of understanding of the curriculum was discussed. Based on the results of these studies, the necessity of providing comprehension-enhancing training programs that are continuous with the limitations of existing training courses is proposed.

Assessment of cytomegalovirus and cell-mediated immunity for predicting outcomes in non-HIV-infected patients with <i>Pneumocystis jirovecii</i> pneumonia

        Kim, Taeeun,Park, Se Yoon,Lee, Hyun-Jung,Kim, Sun-Mi,Sung, Heungsup,Chong, Yong Pil,Lee, Sang-Oh,Choi, Sang-Ho,Kim, Yang Soo,Woo, Jun Hee,Kim, Sung-Han Williams & Wilkins Co 2017 Medicine Vol.96 No.30

<▼1><P>Supplemental Digital Content is available in the text</P></▼1><▼2><P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>The clinical importance of pulmonary cytomegalovirus (CMV) co-infection in patients with <I>Pneumocystis jirovecii</I> pneumonia (PCP) is uncertain. We therefore determined the association of CMV infection with outcomes in non-HIV-infected patients with PCP by assessing CMV viral load and CMV-specific T-cell response.</P><P>We prospectively enrolled all non-HIV-infected patients with confirmed PCP, over a 2-year period. Real-time polymerase chain reaction from bronchoalveolar lavage was performed to measure CMV viral load, and CMV enzyme-linked immunospot assays of peripheral blood were used to measure CMV-specific T-cell responses. The primary outcome was 30-day mortality.</P><P>A total of 76 patients were finally analyzed. The mortality in patients with high BAL CMV viral load (>2.52 log copies/mL, 6/32 [18%]) showed a nonsignificant trend to be higher than in those with low CMV viral load (2/44 [5%], <I>P</I> = .13). However, the mortality in patients with low CMV-specific T-cell responses (<5 spots/2.0 × 105 PBMC, 6/29 [21%]) was significantly higher than in patients with high CMV-specific T-cell response (2/47 [4%], <I>P</I> = .048). Moreover, the 2 strata with high CMV viral load and low CMV-specific T-cell responses (4/14 [29%]) and low CMV viral load and low CMV-specific T-cell responses (2/15 [13%]) had poorer outcomes than the 2 strata with high CMV viral load and high CMV-specific T-cell responses (2/18 [11%]) and low CMV viral load and high CMV-specific T-cell responses (0/29 [0%]).</P><P>These data suggest that the CMV replication and impaired CMV-specific T-cell responses adversely affect the outcomes in non-HIV-infected patients with PCP.</P></▼2>

Diagnostic usefulness of the cytomegalovirus (CMV)-specific T cell-based assay for predicting CMV infection after kidney transplant

( Taeeun Kim ),( Hyun-jeong Lee ),( Sun-mi Kim ),( Joo Hee Jung ),( Sung Shin ),( Young-hoon Kim ),( Heungsup Sung ),( Yong Pil Chong ),( Sang-oh Lee ),( Sang-ho Choi ),( Yang Soo Kim ),( Jun Hee Woo 대한내과학회 2020 The Korean Journal of Internal Medicine Vol.35 No.2

Background/Aims: We evaluated the usefulness in kidney transplant (KT) candidates of cytomegalovirus (CMV)-specific enzyme-linked immunospot (ELISPOT) assays for predicting the development of post-transplant CMV infections. Methods: All adult recipients admitted for living-donor KT between March 2014 and March 2015 were prospectively enrolled except donor CMV-seropositive and recipient seronegative (D+/R-) recipients. All the enrolled patients underwent CMV-specific ELISPOT assays before transplant, and a researcher blinded to the results of these assays examined the patients for CMV infection at least 6 months post-transplant. Results: Of 133 KT recipients, 44 (33%) developed CMV infections. When we used the cut-off determined by receiver operator characteristic curve, 16 of the 34 patients (47%) with negative pp65-specific ELISPOT results (< 11 spots/200,000 cells) developed CMV infections, whereas 28 of the 99 patients (39%) with positive pp65-specific ELISPOT results at baseline (≥ 11 spots/200,000 cells) developed CMV infections after KT (p = 0.02). Based on the multivariable Cox regression model, negative pp65-specific ELISPOT assay results was an independent risk factor for CMV infection (adjusted hazard ratio [AHR], 1.87; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.01 to 3.46; p = 0.047) as well as age (AHR, 1.05; 95% CI, 1.01 to 1.08; p = 0.007). Conclusions: Pre-transplant CMV-specific ELISPOT assay appears to predict the development of CMV infections after KT in recipients at moderate risk such as CMV-seropositive recipients (Clinical Trial Registration Number NCT 02025335).

Review : Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus Variant Recombinant VP60 Protein Induces Protective Immunogenicity

( Hyejin Kim ),( Irfan A. Rather ),( Hyunwook Kim ),( Sungsoo Kim ),( Taeeun Kim ),( Jaeyoung Jang ),( Jimin Seo ),( Jeongheui Lim ),( Yongha Park ) 한국미생물 · 생명공학회 2015 Journal of microbiology and biotechnology Vol.25 No.11

Rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus (RHDV) is highly contagious and often causes fatal disease that affects both wild and domestic rabbits of the species Oryctolagus cuniculus. A highly pathogenic RHDV variant (RHDVa) has been circulation in the Korean rabbit population since 2007 and has a devastating effect on the rabbit industry in Korea. A highly pathogenic RHDVa was isolated from naturally infected rabbits, and the gene encoding the VP60 protein was cloned into a baculovirus transfer vector and expressed in insect cells. The hemagglutination titer of the Sf-9 cell lysate infected with recombinant VP60 baculovirus was 131,072 units/50 μl and of the supernatant 4,096 units/50 μl. Guinea pigs immunized twice intramuscularly with a trial inactivated RHDVa vaccine containing recombinant VP60 contained 2,152 hemagglutination inhibition (HI) geometric mean titers. The 8-week-old white rabbits inoculated with one vaccine dose were challenged with a lethal RHDVa 21 days later and showed 100% survival rates. The recombinant VP60 protein expressed in a baculovirus system induced high HI titers in guinea pigs and rendered complete protection, which led to the development of a novel inactivated RHDVa vaccine.

Epidemiology and Disease Burden of Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection in Adults

        Kim Taeeun,Choi Sang-Ho 대한감염학회 2024 Infection and Chemotherapy Vol.56 No.1

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) constitutes a significant cause of respiratory illness and mortality among older adults, a demographic that is expanding with considerable impact on healthcare systems worldwide. The actual burden of RSV in this population may still be underestimated, owing to factors such as low awareness and suboptimal diagnostic sensitivity in adults, the lack of robust RSV surveillance systems, and the infrequent use of diagnostic testing. Recent advancements in respiratory virus detection have spurred further exploration into appropriate preventive and therapeutic strategies. The recent approval of two vaccines highlights the critical need for the precise estimation of the RSV disease burden to optimize the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of immunization programs. This narrative review aimed to summarize the existing knowledge of the RSV burden in adults with a particular focus on older adults, incorporating data from Korea. Overall, current estimates indicate that the annual RSV attack rate in the general adult population ranges from 1 - 7%, increasing to approximately 4 - 10% among elderly and high-risk groups. The in-hospital mortality rate can be estimated to be around 7 - 10%, rising up to 40% among intensive care unit-admitted patients. To elucidate RSV’s disease burden, further continuing research, including population-based studies, is necessary.

Ceramic composite separators coated with moisturized ZrO2 nanoparticles for improving the electrochemical performance and thermal stability of lithium ion batteries

        Kim, Ki Jae,Kwon, Hyuk Kwon,Park, Min-Sik,Yim, Taeeun,Yu, Ji-Sang,Kim, Young-Jun The Royal Society of Chemistry 2014 Physical chemistry chemical physics Vol.16 No.20

<P>We introduce a ceramic composite separator prepared by coating moisturized ZrO2 nanoparticles with a poly(vinylidene fluoride-<I>co</I>-hexafluoropropylene) (PVdF-12wt%HFP) copolymer on a polyethylene separator. The effect of moisturized ZrO2 nanoparticles on the morphology and the microstructure of the polymeric coating layer is investigated. A large number of micropores formed around the embedded ZrO2 nanoparticles in the coating layer as a result of the phase inversion caused by the adsorbed moisture. The formation of micropores highly affects the ionic conductivity and electrolyte uptake of the ceramic composite separator and, by extension, the rate discharge properties of lithium ion batteries. In particular, thermal stability of the ceramic composite separators coated with the highly moisturized ZrO2 nanoparticles (a moisture content of 16 000 ppm) is dramatically improved without any degradation in electrochemical performance compared to the performance of pristine polyethylene separators.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>Micropore formation around the ZrO2 nanoparticles is caused by the moisture adsorbed on the surface of nanoparticles. This significantly affects the physicochemical properties of the composite separators. <IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=c4cp00624k'> </P>

      • Two-Dimensional Phosphorene-Derived Protective Layers on a Lithium Metal Anode for Lithium-Oxygen Batteries

        Kim, Youngjin,Koo, Dongho,Ha, Seongmin,Jung, Sung Chul,Yim, Taeeun,Kim, Hanseul,Oh, Seung Kyo,Kim, Dong-Min,Choi, Aram,Kang, Yongku,Ryu, Kyoung Han,Jang, Minchul,Han, Young-Kyu,Oh, Seung M.,Lee, Kyu T American Chemical Society 2018 ACS NANO Vol.12 No.5

<P>Lithium-oxygen (Li-O2) batteries are desirable for electric vehicles because of their high energy density. Li dendrite growth and severe electrolyte decomposition on Li metal are, however, challenging issues for the practical application of these batteries. In this connection, an electrochemically active two-dimensional phosphorene-derived lithium phosphide is introduced as a Li metal protective layer, where the nanosized protective layer on Li metal suppresses electrolyte decomposition and Li dendrite growth. This suppression is attributed to thermodynamic properties of the electrochemically active lithium phosphide protective layer. The electrolyte decomposition is suppressed on the protective layer because the redox potential of lithium phosphide layer is higher than that of electrolyte decomposition. Li plating is thermodynamically unfavorable on lithium phosphide layers, which hinders Li dendrite growth during cycling. As a result, the nanosized lithium phosphide protective layer improves the cycle performance of Li symmetric cells and Li-O2 batteries with various electrolytes including lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide in <I>N,N</I>-dimethylacetamide. A variety of <I>ex situ</I> analyses and theoretical calculations support these behaviors of the phosphorene-derived lithium phosphide protective layer.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>
