Sejong Jochiwon peaches are a nationally famous agricultural product. Our goal was to develop a high-quality handmade beer with a peach flavor using local peaches. For this purpose, three peach varieties (Honggeumhyang, Baekcheonhwangdo, Yanghongjang) were tested and various peach hop additives were prepared according to different drying methods, final shapes, and parts of the peach. A total of 32 different beers were produced by adding the peach hop additives in the dry-hopping secondary fermentation process. The quality of the manufactured beer products was evaluated through physicochemical analysis as well as sensory tests such as taste and flavor. GC-MS analysis identified two peach-flavored chemicals in some beer products: hexanoic acid and octanal. If the quality of the beer is further improved, it is expected to be commercialized.

This study aims to explore the influence of psychological empowerment(PE), the level of a user’s relative position and awareness of audit on information security policy(ISP) compliance intention and the moderating role of PE. We test the proposed structural model with research hypotheses using non-linear partial least square test tool, WarpPLS 5.0. The results are summarized as follows. 1) Psychological empowerment positively affects intention to comply with ISP; 2) The level of a user’s relative position negatively affects intention to comply with ISP; 3) Awareness of audit positively affects compliance with information security policy intention; 4) PE has a moderating effect on the links between position and awareness of audit and between position and compliance intention.

3차원 인체 스캐너로부터 얻어진 인체 형상 데이터는 여러 인체에 대한 3차원 평균 모델을 만들어 내는 등의 통계적 분석이나 자세 변경을 위해 필요한 내부 골격 구조와 골격과 피부조직 사이의 관계 등을 계산해내기 어렵다. 또, 이러한 통계적 분석을 위해서는 각 모델 간의 상응 관계가 확립되어야 하지만 스캐너로부터 얻어진 인체 형상 데이터들은 측정 환경이나 대상에 따라 각각이 서로 상이한 기하학적 구조로 이루어져 있다. 본 논문에서는 템플릿 모델을 3차원 인체 형상 데이터에 맞도록 변형함으로써 다수의 인체 형상에 대하여 토폴로지를 일치시키도록 한다. 3차원 인체 데이터에 대해 템플릿 모델이 가장 근사한 형상이 되도록 하는 변형을 자동으로 찾아내기 위해서 표면 위에 정의된 특징점들을 사용한다. 또한, 기존에 찾아둔 특징점군 및 변형정보 데이터가 충분히 많다면 새로운 변형을 계산하는 데 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 보인다. 이렇게 상응 관계가 확립된 모델들은 삼차원 벡터 공간의 점들의 집합으로 표현 및 통계적 분석이 가능하게 된다.
Metastatic colon cancer mimics HELLP syndrome in pregnancy

Colorectal cancer(CRC) is rare in pregnant women. Common symptoms include bleeding, abdominal pain, nausea, constipation, and anemia. These symptoms are commonly seen in pregnancy and confused with physiologic changes of pregnancy. This makes early diagnosis of CRC difficult and cancer to spread. We present a 34-year-old pregnant woman who was revealed to have advanced CRC with hepatic metastasis. She was referred to our clinic due to right upper quadrant (RUQ) pain with dichorionic diamniotic twin fetuses at 27+6 weeks of gestation. Her blood pressure 123/91 mmHg. Estimated fetal weight (EFW) of F1 was 1258 g, which was close to average, but EFW of F2 was 773 g (5th percentile=789) and suitable for fetal growth restriction. Umbilical artery Doppler of F2 showed absent of end-diastolic flow. She was hospitalized for maternal and fetal surveillance and workup for preeclampsia. Laboratory testing showed anemia, elevated liver enzyme and LDH, and proteinuria (Hb 9.5g/dL, AST 87 IU/L, LDH 1660 IU/L, random urine protein/creatinine ratio 0.32). She was presumed to have severe preeclampsia, also known as HELLP syndrome. After admission, her diastolic blood pressure was maintained at a level not exceeding 100 mmHg and there were no headache or blurred vision symptoms, but she complained of continuous stabbing RUQ pain, of which NRS scale was 2-5 points. She underwent liver ultrasonography and it showed multiple hyperechoic masses, considered as multinodular hepatocellular carcinoma or multiple metastasis. For further evaluation and management of maternal malignancy, she delivered twin female infants at 28+2 weeks of gestation on March 15th. After delivery, abdominopelvic computed tomography and colonoscopic biopsy revealed colon cancer with multiple metastasis, consistent with stage IV. Now She is under palliative chemotherapy.

Pollution from discarded plastic has become a serious environmental problem. The Great Pacific garbage patch consisting of abandoned plastics is killing marine life. In addition, micro-plastics decomposed by solar UV radiation and waves can accumulate in the human body. Recycling plastic is accordingly a critical element of waste management. As part of the solution to this problem, factory automation in recycling plants to handle more waste faster is essential. The amount of reproduced raw plastics is proportional to the inlet speed of the plastics waste stream into a recycling process line. Furthermore, the quality of recycled products with reproduced raw plastics depends on the sorting purity through the line. Thus, an automated system should be capable of real-time classification of the plastics category and rapid manipulation for removing selected plastics. We propose a real-time sorting system for mixed color plastics by applying a machine learning algorithm and a parallel manipulator with a vacuum suction pad. The learning data and picking test samples were collected from a municipal waste disposal site at RM corporation factory. This work shows the feasibility of real-time plastics recycling automation and a future development direction.
