      • 분사법에 의한 탄산칼슘 제조

        본 연구는 탄산가스화법에 의한 탄산칼슘 입자 제조 공정에 있어서, 탄산가스로 채워진 반응기에 수산화칼슘 슬러리를 분사하는 방법으로 탄산칼슘 입자를 제조하였다. 수산화 칼슘의 농도(0.25~1.0wt%), 분사압력(0.5kgf /㎠~1.5kgf /㎠) 및 반응기 온도(20℃, 28℃)의 변화에 따른 생성된 탄산칼슘을 관찰하였다. 수산화 칼슘의 농도가 비교적 높으면(0.75wt%, 1.0wt%), 생성물의 pH와 전도도는 높게 나타났다. 분사압력에 의한 탄산칼슘 제조의 변화는 분사압력이 높아질수록(1.5kgf /㎠), pH와 전도도는 높게 측정되었다. 그러나, 수산화 칼슘의 농도와 분사압력의 변화가 탄산칼슘의 입자크기, 형태, 결정구조에 영향을 미치지는 않았다. 반응기의 온도가 28℃에서 생성된 탄산칼슘은 1.0㎛이하의 칼사이트 상 입자가 제조되었으며, 20℃에서 생성된 탄산칼슘은 0.5㎛이하의 칼사이트 상 입자가 제조되었다. 반응기의 온도가 낮아질수록 탄산칼슘 입자의 크기가 작아짐을 알 수 있었다. For the preparation of calcium carbonate particles from aqueous Ca(OH)2 slurry, carbonation reaction of aqueous Ca(OH)2 slurry was carried out by spouting the aqueous slurry of Ca(OH)2 into reactor filled with CO2 gas. The concentration of Ca(OH)2 varies from 0.25wt% to 1.0wt%, nozzle pressure from 0.5kgf /㎠ to 1.5kgf /㎠, and reactor temperature were set at 20℃ and 28℃. With relatively high concentration of 0.75wt% and 1.0wt% of Ca(OH)2, pH and conductivity of product-stream were observed high value. High pH and conductivity were observed at high nozzle pressure of 1.5kgf /㎠. The concentration of Ca(OH)2 and nozzle pressure, however, did not change the particle size and shape of calcium carbonate synthesized by carbonation reaction. The reaction temperature affected particle size. At reactor temperatures of 28℃ and 20℃, the particle sizes were about 1.0㎛ and 0.5㎛, respectively. Crystal structure of calcium calcium carbonate was of calcite. When reactor temperature was lower, the size of calcium carbonate particle was smaller.

        회분식 반응기에서의 공정변수 변화에 의한 침강성 탄산칼슘 제조

        For the preparation of calcium carbonate particles from aqueous Ca(OH)2 slurry, carbonation reaction of aqueous Ca(OH)2 slurry was carried out by batch method the CO2 into reactor filled with aqueous slurry of Ca(OH)2. The concentration of Ca(OH)2 varies from 1.00 to 7.00wt%, reactor temperature at 20 and 40℃, and reactor pressure from atmospheric pressure to 6.0kgf/cm2. Crystal structure of calcium carbonate was of calcite, the particle size were about 0.05 ∼2.0㎛, and the particle shape was cubic and spindle. When reactor temperature was higher, particle size of calcium carbonate was bigger and particle share was varied, but reaction rate was increased. When reactor pressure was higher, particle size of calcium carbonate was smaller, particle shape was cubic, and reaction ramie was increased.

      • Streptobacillus sp.가 생산하는 pullulanase에 관한 연구

        A bacterium with the highest pullulanase activity was isolated from the soil and identified as Streptobacillus sp. Y-716. The optimum culture condition of Streptobacillus sp. for the production of pullulanase was as follows; 1.2%(w/v)soluble starch, 0.7%(w/v) CH₃COONH₄, 0.05%(w/v) MgSO₄7 H₂O, 0.01%(w/v)FeSO₄7H₂O, at 30℃, for 48 hrs. The pullulanase from the culture broth of Streptobacillus sp. Y-716 was purified about 46 fold by ammonium sulfate precipitation, dialysis. DEAE-cellulose and Sephadex G-200 column chromatography. The purified enzyme was stable between pH 5.0 and pH 7.5. It was inactivated rapidly above 35℃. The Km value and Vmax of the purified enzyme were 0.0137mg/m/ and 0.666μm/min. on pullulan, respectively.

      • Plasmid DNA pBR 322의 증폭과 Hydroxyapatite Chromatography에 의한 분리

        The amplification and the isolation conditions of pBR322 plasmid DNA were investigated. For the amplification of pBR322 plasmid DNA, cells from logarithmic growth phase were most effective. The optimal conditions for the amplification of pBR322 plasmid DNA in Escherichia coli GM4 were obtained as follows; 50-150 ㎍/ml of chloramphenicol concentration, 6-8 hours of incubation time in the presence of chloramphenicol. Ampicillin and tetracycline had no effect on the amplification of pBR322 plasmid DNA. Approximately 1 mg of pBR322 plasmid DNA was purified from 3.5 ℓof Escherichia coli GM4 culture broth by hydroxyapatite chromatography. The purified pBR322 plasmid DNA was expressed in Escherichia coli C600.

        졸겔법에 의한 티탄산납 제조 및 유기산 흡착특성

        Generally PbTiO3 if manufactured in a form of thin films which is useful for the application infrared sensors and non-volatile memory devices. Moreover PbTiO3 has a characteristic of adsorption for organic acid as well as electronic property. Organic acid adsorption properties of PbTiO3 powder prepared by sol-gel method was compared with the powder purchased from Aldrich Co. Crystallization and particle size of PbTiO3 are influenced by process variable, such as dilution of sol solution, catalysis, calcination temperature, calcination time, etc. As the size of PbTiO3 power decreased until several nanometers, adsorption of acetic acid and formic acid was increased 1.5-fold and 1.2-fold respectively

      • The Computer Algebra Systems in Mathematics Education : A Review of Recent Research

        This study examines the potential role for Computer Algebra Systems(CAS) in such an educational context, particularly their potential to get students more engaged in the learning of mathematics as well as to reduce the "strangle hold" of prerequisite algebraic skills, in courses such as functions, introductory calculus. What is the present status of and near-future outlook for computer algebra in Korean secondary schools? The answer that arises from this review of available fact is: bright with promise, but still dim. Several recent developments have set the stage for an acceleration in the dissemination rate for CAS to high schools. However, this review of some past and present conditions indicates that many years will pass before computer algebra is impacting high school mathematics as much as hand-held calculators are doing now.

      • 목초액의 엽면살포가 선학초(Agrimonia pilosa L.)의 종자수량에 미치는 영향

        Agrimonia pilosa L. has been used as a medicinal plant in traditional folk remedy, and it shows inereasing tendency at various sections such as medicine-making material, functional food, and agricultural chemicals using plant or extract. The treatment was 400times solution(50㎖), 600times solution(33.3㎖), 800times solution(25㎖), 1,000times solution(20㎖) and 1,200times solution(16.7㎖) level with foliar application of wood extraction in Agrimonia pilosa L. The results obtained through these experiments were summarized as follows; plant height, stem number, leaves was increased with 800times solution(25㎖) foliar application of wood extraction. Among foliar application of wood vinergar soution diluted by 800-1,200 times was most effective considering growth and yield as compared other dilutions and control plot.

        완두의 이면교잡에 의한 F_1세대에 대한 조합능력을 검정한 결과는 다음과 같다. 9개 형질에 대한 GCA, SCA, RCA효과를 검정한 바 조합능력은 전 형질에서 GCA, SCA, RCA가 모두 유의하였고, 분지수·경직경·엽장·주당협수·협당립수·주당립수·100립중·주당립중은 GCA가 SCA보다 크고, 품종간 GCA효과는 고성종1호가 경직경과 100립중에서, 고성종2호가 경장·분지수·엽장에서, 김해종이 주당협수·주당립수·100립중·주당입중에서, 진해종이 협다립수에서 각각 정(+)으로 높았다. SCA효과에서 경장은 1×2(고성종1호×고성종2호)조합과 1×3(고성종1호×김해종)조합이, 분지수는 4×5(고성종3호×진해종)조합이, 경직경과 엽장은 1×3(고성종1호×김해종)조합이, 주당협수는 1×2(고성종1호×고성종2호)조합과 4×5(고성종3호×진해종)조합이, 협당립수는 1×2(고성종1호×고성종2호)조합·1×4(고성종1호×고성종3호)조합·2×3(고성종2호×김해종)조합이, 주당립수는 1×2(고성종1호×고성종2호)조합과 4×5(고성종3호×진해종)조합이, 100립중은 3×4(김해종×고성종3호)조합이, 주당립중은 1×2(고성종1호×고성종2호)조합·3×4(김해종×고성종3호)조합·4×5(고성종3호×진해종)조합이 각각 정으로 높았다. RCA효과에서 경장·엽장·주당협수·주당립중은 1×2(고성종1호×고성종2호)조합이, 주당협수·주당립수·100립중·주당립중은 2×4(고성종2호×고성종3호)조합이 각각 정으로 높았다. Five pea varieties in F₁ generation of the possible crosses among them were used to estimate the combining ability for nine characters, i. e., stem length, number of branches per plant, stem diameter, leaf length, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, number of seeds per plant, 100-seed weight and seed weight per plant. Data for F₁ hybrid and parents were subjected to the analysis method proposed by Griffing. The results obtained were summarized as follows. Mean squares of general combining ability(GCA), specific combining ability(SCA) and reciprocal combining ability(RCA) were significant for all characters observed. Mean squares of GCA were higher than those of SCA and RCA in number of branches per plant, stem diameter, leaf length, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, number of seeds per plant, 100-seed weight and seed weight and seed weight per plant. Variety Gimbae showed the highest GCA effect for number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant and seed weight per plant and positively high effects of GCA were observed from variety Gosung#1 in stem diameter, 100-seed weight, and from variety Gosung#2 stem length, number of branches per plant, leaf length, from Jinhae in number of seeds per pod In SCA effects, hybrids in Gosung#1×Gosung#2 were wxhibited positively high for stem length, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, number of seeds per plant and seed weight per plant, and high SCA effects for number of branches per plant, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant and seed weight per plant were found positively in Gosung#3×jinhae. In RCA effects, hybrids in Gosung#2×Gosung#3 were exhibited positively high for number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, 100-seed weight and seed weight per plant and high RCA effects for stem length, leaf length, number of pods per plant, and seed weight per plant were found positively in Gosung#1×Gosung#2.

      • 생쥐 위장관의 Interstitial cells of Cajal(ICC)에 대한 면역조직화학적 연구

        Background and Objectives : Interstitial cells of Cajal(ICC) are the pacemakers in gastrointestinal tract that modulates gastrointestinal motiliey and these cells also transmit neural input from enteric nerves to smooth muscles. Recent work on tissues from patients with motility disorders that suggest that loss or defect in ICC could be related to pathophysiology in human and animal models. Immunolabelling of ICC in intestinal wall is recently developed by using specific marker, anti-c-kit antibody. Immunohistochemistry was done for ICC network in attempt to provide a morphological basis for the mechanism regulating gastrointestinal motility Methods : Cryosection was done, and whole-mount preparations of mouse stomach, gastrointestinal tract were immunolabelled using the anti-c-Kit. Immunolabelled ICC networks were observed under a confocal laser scanning microscopy. Results : According to three dimensional reconstruction study, we found that the c-Kit-positive celluar networks were widely distributed in the gastrointestinal muscle (1) circular muscle layer(IC-IM), (2) myenteric plexus(IC-MY), (3) deep muscular plexus(IC-DMP) in ileum, (4) submucosal plexus(IC-SMP) and longitudinal muscle layer(IC-LM) in colon. Conclusion : The characteristic profiles of ICC celluar networks provide a morphological basis upon the mechanism regulating gastrointestinal motility. Additional studies for the enteric nerves-ICC interaction are need to evaluate the detailed roles of Icc in gastrointestinal tract.
