        The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction of employees in private body-guard company. In order to achieve this purpose, the instrument for data collection was a questionnaire in which consisted of questions regarding job stress and job satisfaction. The questionnaire's validity was evaluated by a panel of experts, and its reliability was evaluated by computing the Cronbach alpha values. Since the values ranged from .664 to .816, the questionnaire was deemed to be highly reliable. 220 subjects was selected from several private body-guard companies in Seoul, 2003. Among these selected subjects, 200(90%) responded, and data analyses consisted of employing descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, standard multiple regression using SPSS/PC version 10.0. The following results were obtained: First, job stress factors differ statistically and partially according to socio-demographic variables of employees in private body-guard company. Second, job satisfaction factors differ statistically and partially according to socio-demographic variables of employees in private body-guard company. Third, job stress statistically and significantly influenced job satisfaction.

      • 육상 100m 달리기 지도 및 기록향상을 위한 기술분석

        This study was performed to analyze the technique of 100m sprint running and to offer profitable information related to sprint running to trainer and sprinter. To this purpose the technique of 100m sprint running was divided into four phase, that is, start phase, acceleration phase, maximum speed phase and finish phase. The following is summary. 1. In the 'set' position the most effective fore-leg and near-leg angle is 90 ˚, 120 ˚ respectively. Backbone angle is 27 ˚, shoulder position is on 10cm ahead of starting line. The head and neck are naturally as an extension of the trunk. The sprinter needs maximum concentration for the first action of the arms and legs. When the starting pistol fires the a straight line can be drawn from the toes of extended driving leg to the sprinter's head. 2. During the acceleration phase the body will gradually rise from a pronounced to a slight forward lean. The arms must be harmony with the legs. The hands are lifted not much higher than shoulder level. 3. During the maximum speed phase when the driving leg land below of gravity center the knee must be somewhat bended for reduction of the landing brake. Recovery leg heel moves to the buttocks to reduce the length of plumb and to increase the number of pitch. Arms must swing with 90 degrees at the elbow. 4. During the finish phase the sprinter must do the exact finishing techniques at exact timing. That is, it is disadvantageous for the sprinter to do the finish technique on excessive tension and to do jumping. A forward dip finish method during the last stride before the finish line is the most commonly used technique.

        The purpose of this Guideline is to provide basic standardization basis for planning and designing of the dwellings so that elderly may live, either with their family or independently, an independently comfortable life style. Dwelling facility is defined as a physical area where important activities of daily life are conducted by a person/people and is also the focal place of a family. Therefore, the Guideline classifies the areas where daily activities are conducted by type of such activities and provides standards to countermeasure for natural physical disabilities of the elders.

      • 섬유강화 복합재료의 사출성형에 있어서 섬유배향에 미치는 성형조건의 영향

        Injection molding is a very important industrial process for the manufacturing of plastics objects. During an injection molding process of composites, the fiber-matrix separation and fiber orientation are caused by the flow of molten polymer/fiber mixture. As a result, the product tends to be nonhomogeneous and anisotropic. Hence, it is very important to clarify the relations between separation orientation and injection molding conditions. So far, there is no research on the measurement of fiber orientation using image processing. In this study, the effects of fiber content ratio and molding condition on the fiber orientation-angle distributions are studied experimentally. Using the image processing method, the fiber orientation distribution of weld-line parts in injection-molded products is assessed. And the effects of fiber content and injection molding conditions on the fiber orientation functions are also discussed.

      • 發癌物質과 非發癌物質의 DNA-Modifying Activity에 대한 量子生物學的 解釋

        LCAOMO calculation has been carried out for thirty chemical carcinogens and nine metabolites of them. The LUMO electron density which is a measure of ability electron to be accepted and observed DNA-Modifying activity which is a measure of mutation relationship was considered. It was found that the sum of LUMO electron density of 1, 2, 4-positions of a relevant trans-butadiene type (F??) in the compound was correlative to DNA-Modifying activity. This means that carcinogenesis closely relate to mutagensis, since the LUMO electron density is a measure of carcinogenic activity of carcinogens as shown earlier. It was also found that LUMO electron density of 1, 2, 4-positions in compounds increase with their metabolic activation. This is in agreement with the experimental result that carcinogen is more electrophilic as metabolic activation. In conclusion, it may be possible to give a theoretical interpretation on the mutation of chemical carcinogens and explain theoretically the fact that the compound have a strong elestrophilicity on metabolic activation.

      • 구조용강의 유한요소해석 및 온도변화에 따른 피로수명 평가에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 국산 승용차의 전륜구동축 재료인 S43C와 S5OC를 대상으로 유한요소해석과 회전굽힘피로실험을 통해 고주파열처리와 온도조건에 따른 피로크랙의 발생, 전파거동을 고찰하였다. 유한요소해석 결과 하중이 가해지는 방향에 따라 반복적으로발생되는 인장응격 및 압축응력은 미소원공결함 부분에서 가장 크게 나타났다. 이러한원인은 미소원공결함이 응력의 국부적인 집중원으로 작용했기 때문으로 생각되며, 이러한 응력의 반복으로 인하여 미소원공결함을 기점으로 크랙이 발생∙성장하였음을 알 수있다. 회전굽힘피로실험 결과 두가지 재료 모두 저온(-3O℃) 피로수명은 비열처리재의 경우 상온(25℃)보다 약 110% 증가하였고, 열처리재는 약 120% 증가함으로서 온도의 저하가 피로수명을 크게 증가시킨 반면 고온(80℃) 피로수명은 상온 피로수명과 비교시 비열처리재가 약 35%. 열처리재가 약 5%의 피로수명 감소를 나타냈다. In this study, the rotary bending fatigue test was carried out with two kind of material, S43C and S5OC, using in the front engine and front wheel drive shaft of vehicle. The specimens were heat-treated by high frequency induction method and tested at room(+25℃), high(+80) and low temperature(-3O℃) in order to look over the fatigue crack initiation and propagation behavior by the heat treatment and the temperatures. Based on the FEM result, the tensile and compressive stress repeatedly generated by load direction were largest on the small circular defect due to the stress concentration. So the small crack was initiated and grew from the defect Fatigue lifts of the specimens tested at low temperature showed about 110% for as-received. 120% for heat-treated higher than at room temperature, It was found that low temperature increased so much the fatigue life. At room and high temperature, the fatigue life of as-received specimens were decreased about 35%, but that of heat-treated specimens were decreased about only 5% at high temperature more than at room temperature, Therefore, fatigue life under high temperature will be considered at design of front engine and front wheel drive shaft materials of vehicle.

      • 교각형상에 따른 국부세굴에 관한 실험적 연구

        For geotechnical and economical reasons, various bridge piers have become more and more popular in bridge design. This type of pier can significantly reduce construction costs, compared to spread footer structures when sediment scour is a consideration. However, the scour mechanisms for piles are much more complex, and design of local scour depths more difficult to predict. In this Experiments of local scour around the downward tapering oblong pier with the geometrically nonlinear structurea and a series circular piers are carried out under steady clear water scour conditions. The paper presents the following research results: The scour at a series circular piers is different from that around a single pile, depending on the pile spacing. The interference effect diminishes for pile spacing L_(d)/D=3.5, depending on the pile group arrangement.

        미군정기 초등교육의 변화

        This article examines the main changes in elementary education in Korea from 1945 to 1948, so called, the American Military Government period. At first the real situation and urgent problems to be solved in the field of elementary education at the moment of liberation is examined. Cleaning of colonial legacy in educational system, building and remodeling of school buildings, establishing new teacher training programs, supplying more textbooks were some of the problems at stake. The most prominent changes in educational system were the abolition of discriminative system and the adoption of democratic system, introduction of compulsory education, and reform of curricular system. In this article these three aspects are explained with pertinent documents and educational statistics. Expansion of educational opportunity is also one of the most outstanding changes occurred at that time. Elementary school entrance rate increased from 54% in 1945 to 73% in 1948 approximately. Explosive increase in school students caused many educational and social problems. Serious shortage of teachers demanded some temporary teacher training programs, and it caused the decrease of teachers' level of professional expertise. Textbook shortage was also a serious problem caused by the increase in student numbers which could not solved in a short time. Beyond these a lot of different problems emerged. A great amount of educational finance was required to meet these educational needs. Because of limits in legal sources, however, unlawful educational funds such as parents' donation was flourished and made a negative influence on Korean education. The historical meaning of three years, from 1945 to 1948, in the field of elementary education in Korea is that elementary education reached to a level of universal education, and some experiments to democratize educational practices were made without many successes. Transition from Japanese imperial education to American democratic education was only a superficial phenomenon.

        일상적 의례로서 한국의 술자리 : 하나의 문화적 해석 A Cultural Interpretation

        이 글은 한국식 술자리의 특수성을 남성위주의 일상적인 친교의례라는 시각에서 분석해본 것이다. 고프만(E. Goffman)이 연구한 다양한 상호작용의 의례가 주로 사회적 행위자들의 통제된 경계심을 배경으로 작동한다면, 친교의례는 행위자들 사이의 상호인정과 교류, 융합의지를 근간으로 삼는 특수한 사례라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 논의를 발전시켜, 이 글에서는 친교의례로서 한국식 술자리가 구조화되는 과정을, 공간적·시간적 맥락, 그리고 다양하면서도 특이한 신체기술(body techniques)에 초점을 맞추어 기술해보았다. 그 결과 우리는 술자리가 내포하는 질서가 사회적 위계와 집단적 사회성간의 역동적인 긴장으로 특징지어진다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 한국식 술자리는 모든 참여자들을 최대한 취하게 만드는 방식으로 구조화되어있다. 그를 통해 참여자들 상호간에 '낯'을 버리고 잃는 상징적 게임이 이루어지며, 이러한 게임은 않은 조직들의 '코뮤니타스(communitas)'로의 일시적, 가상적 이행을 가능하게 하는 세속적인 장치가 된다. 하지만 이 과정을 통해 집단 안에서 개인성의 용해가 반강제적으로 요구되고, 집단의 경계가 정치적인 배타성을 부여받으며, 여성에 대한 남성지배적 시선과 태도가 강화되는 등의 부정적인 효과가 발생한다. This paper is designed to analyze the specificity of Korean mode of drinking as communion ritual among men. In its first part, I criticized E. Goffman's conception of ritual in focusing mainly on the corralled alrtness of social agents. I introduced the concept of ommunion ritual that seems useful for grasping the apparently uncontrolled form and sociable end of drinking bout in Korea. The second part presents a thick description of the practice of drinking in its fundamental dimensions - time, space, and body techniques. I tried to show concretely how social drinking as a ritual is structuralized and embedded in Korean society. The signification and effects of social drinking were discussed in the third part of this paper. First, I interpreted the practical function and symbolic meaning of body techniques employed in drinking bout. The second point was about the politics of inclusion and exclusion operating in the drinking bout. Finally, I proposed to reconsider the historically specific position that this communion ritual takes in a broader context of gift economy and masculine domination in Korea.
