        Due to the development of Internet, most online/offline services are provided as web services through Internet. However, there are several procedures required, before you actually find what you were looking for. These procedures are necessary to access Internet services you need, but it is some what inconvenient to users. The personalized virtual portal system suggested in this paper is designed to solve such inconvenience. The virtual portal system described in this paper perceives personal computers as web service providing sites, so that it enables users to define customized services by themselves. Also, it makes an exclusive browser as a multiple browser window and provides features to navigate web sites. Therefore, this paper suggests methods for building a personalized virtual portal system, where users are able to access web services more conveniently.

        In order to utilize the parts of approval data for the 4.3 ton aluminium planning boat structure as the first attempt in Korea, feasibilities of bottom plate scantling of the ship are investigated In this paper, firstly, the strength of bottom plate member are examined using elasto-plastic nonlinear structural analysis and response levels were reviewed according to the suggested several design pressures and appropriate response range based on the yield criterion can be suggested based on the analysis results Secondly, in order to suggest the design guides in respect of the ship structural designer, safety factor range of 4.3 ton aluminium boat was prepared through the introduction of safety factor concept based on the ultimate design pressure Finally, in related to this study, abbreviate structural plans which were approved in the first place domestically, were introduced From the precise analysis and review through the additional studies, design criteria will be extended for each type and size of ship structure and more rational design pressure will be also treated if being necessary in future works

        H.264/AVC the result of the collaboration between ISO/IEC Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) and ITU-T Video Coding Experts Group (VCEG) is the state-of-the-art standard for video coding For improvement of compression efficiency H.264/AVC adopts several new coding tools including quarter-pixel-accuracy motion estimation and compensation using variable block size (VBS) multiple reference frames in-loop filter intra-prediction in spatial domain and so on which the previous coding standards do not have This paper is concerned with enhancement of coding efficiency of H.264/AVC through increasing the hit ratio of most probable mode in intra4x4 The proposed method uses the correlation between the prediction directions of neighboring blocks and a current block and also estimates prediction directions from neighboring pixels Simulation results show that the proposed method outperforms the JVT model regardless of edge tendency

        This paper is concerned with the bulking factor for dredged marine clay to be reclaimed by a pump dredger Marine clay is deposited naturally with several ten percent of water content however once it is dredged by pump dredger its water content increases upto a few thousand percent rapidly After it is transported to confinement area and undergoes sedimetation and self-weight consolidation process its water content is reduced but still higher than before dredging This means the volume of marine clay increases than before In this study the empirical method and numerical analysis method are used to calculate and compare the bulking factors of marine clay by dredging The calculated results show the bulking factor of numerical analysis method is lesser than that of the empirical method

      • 자외선 조사시 생성된 유해산소가 마우스 피부조직에 미치는 영향

        The backs with a hair cut of 6-week-old healthy ICR male mice were once exposed to a dose of 400 mJ/cm^(2) UVB. An acute dermal inflammation was observed, and the inflamed skins were almost completely cured after 6days of the exposure. At 24 hours after exposure, the activity of XO showed a significant increase(p<0.05)in up to 144 hours. The activities of CAT and SOD showed a significant decrease(p<0.05)in up to 96 hours, but they were not significantly different from the normal value at l44hours. The GST activity was significantly decreased(p<0.01)in up to 96 hours, not so at 24 hours. However, that was not significantly different from the normal value at 144 hours. There was a significant decrease(p<0.01) in the contents of TBARS at 48 and 96 hours, without any significant difference at 144 hours. While the content of GSH was significantly lower(p<0.05) at 24 hours, that was not significantly different thereafter up to 144 hours from the normal value. Therefore, it is assumed that skin damage with a dose of 400 mJ/cm^(2) UVB irradiation might be caused by the oxidative stress which was resulted from the unbalance of oxygen free radical generating and scavenging enzymes.

        The experimental study and theoretical analysis are made in order to investigate a new refrigeration system, R-22 and R-502 or R-22 and R-13 cascade compressor with panel type cooler for fishing vessel. Based on the experimental data and various Pressure-Enthalpy diagrams, energy efficiency, simplicity of installation, initial cost, and insulation material are discussed under the condition of evaporating temperature -60℃ and condensing temperature 35℃.
