        Delinquent behavior is known as situation specific skill deficits in solving social problems. This study examined the difference in problem solving skills between juvenile delinquents (N=31) and nondelinquents (N=28) in social conflict situations. The social problems varied depending on the interpersonal context of conflict with peers, teachers, and parents and on the intent of the others in conflict such as ambiguous frustration and hostile provocation. There was a significant difference in the number of alternative solutions generated by subjects with general intelligence covaried out Delinquents had a different pattern of solving social conflict situation problems: Delinquents were likely to employ more physical and verbal aggression in conflict with peers and other's hostile intent; to adopt more negative direct action with teachers and in frustration; and to propose fewer verbal assertive solutions for hostile teacher situations. Nondelinquents tended to produce more noncofrontative or compromising solutions in peer conflicts and during frustration; and to employ more verbal assertion with teacher conflicts and during frustration. However, reasoning ability in the noncoflict situations activated by script knowledge was not significantly different between the two groups. Implications are that cognitive interventions with adolescent offenders might take into consideration the situational factors in problem-solving skills.

        Various Katas have characteristics that the orders and methods of attack and defense was designed under agreement. Practicing Katas makes it possible to learn principles of various techniques and to acquire the techniques. These Katas are used for fair judgement and fair criteria to referee in game. Complex techniques have been analyzed and organized to have competitive martial arts from martial arts for training. Since various Kata have its technical implication with representing Kata of various train purposed martial arts, it should neither be criticized nor be modified with ease. Therefore Kata should be carefully studied with maintaining original factors and with organizing Kata for new technique.

      • 개선된 콤플렉스 방법을 이용한 정보 Granule 기반 퍼지 시스템의 최적화

        본 논문은 비선형 시스템의 퍼지모델을 위해 개선된 컴플렉스 방법을 이용한 정보 Granule 기반 퍼지 시스템의 최적화를 제시한다. 퍼지모델은 주로 경험적 방법에 의해 추출되기 때문에 보다 구체적이고 체계적인 방법에 의한 동정 및 최적화될 필요성이 요구된다. 제안된 퍼지모델은 HCM 클러스터링 알고리즘, 개선된 컴플렉스 방법 및 퍼지추론 방법을 이용하여 시스템 구조와 파라미터 동정을 수행한다. 세 가지 형태의 퍼지모델 추론 방법은 간략추론, 선형추론 그리고 회귀다항식에 의해 시행된다. 본 논문에서는 퍼지모델의 입력변수와 퍼지 입력 공간 분할 및 입출력 데이터의 중심값을 이용하여 후반부 다항식함수에 의한 정보 Granules 기반 구조 동정과 파라미터 동정을 통해 비선형 시스템을 표현한다. 전반부 파라미터의 동정에는 HCM 클러스터링 방법과 개선된 컴플렉스 방법을 사용하고, 후반부는 표준 HCM 클러스터링과 표준 최소자승법을 사용하여 동정한다. 그리고 학습 및 테스트 데이터의 성능결과의 상호균형을 얻기 위한 하중값을 가진 성능지수를 제시함으로써 근사화와 예측성능의 향상을 꾀한다. 제안된 비선형 모델의 성능평가를 통해 그 우수정을 보인다.

      • PCB류 노출에 따른 파밤나방 (Spodoptera exigua)의 세대간 발육억제 효과 평가

        Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are persistent, bioaccumulative, toxic and widely distributed environmental chemicals. A previous report indicates that exposure to PCBs causes substantial hazard for survival and development of beet armyworm, Spodoptera exigua, which is a non-target insect species in the environment. This study was focused to evaluate the effect of PCBs on persistent and bioaccumulative toxic action using the susceptible species. For this purpose, PCBs were treated to parent generation and the following progency development was evaluated. PCB-treated female adults showed significant decrease of fecundity (number of oviposition) in dose-dependent manner. The laid eggs differed in successfully hatched larvae, development to pupal stage was also affected by the PCB concentrations exposed during previous parent stage. A life table analysis suggests that the PCB exposure during previous generation can give substantial reduction in population growth of following generation. Thus, the PCB exposure during previous generation would have additive hazard effect on the action of PCBs to S. exigua in the following generation.

        The purpose of this study is to make a close inquiry into Naegong Dancing(NgD) practitioners' identification through got experiences on training courses. This study can be summarized as follows: The first, participants of this study experienced various meaning phenomenons which divert their view of new thoughts and the aim of their will of life through the training of Naegong dancing. The second, depending on the background of centralized and immersed phenomenons based on setting up exercises, one of mind and body, a breath power of hypogastric breathing, a yelling power is the way of basic essential training for martial arts practitioners. The third, inquiring values of Naegong dancing practitioners and their continuing sports activities are to be think twice factors to change their characters in daily life and social life.

      • 개의 전신성 피부사상균증의 진단과 치료증례

        A 5.2kg, 5month-old castrated male Cocker spaniel dog with 1 month history of generalized scaling, alopecic skin disease was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University. On physical examination, lesions were observed on entire cutaneous surface and were characterized by pustules, scales, and generalized alopecia. Skin scraping and tape strip tests of skin lesions revealed cocci and Malassezia infection was detected on external ear canal. Masses of dermatophyte spores surrounding the hair shafts were found by direct microscopic examination. Based on the result of examination and clinical signs above, generalized dermatophytosis with superficial pyoderma and Malassezia otitis externa were diagnosed. Treatment with administration of antibiotic and antifungals combined with topical antifungal cream and shampoo for more than 8weeks had a good result of controlling dermatophytosis.

      • 활성탄과 어유의 첨가가 계육에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 활성탄 0.9%와 오메가 3계열을 다량 함유한 어유를 급여 수준(0, 1, 2, 4%)에 따라 5주간 급여하면서 증체량을 측정하여으며 6주째 도계하여 10일간 저장하면서 4±1℃ 냉장고에 진공포장하여 육색, 가열감량, 보수력을 측정하였다. 증체량은 활성탄 0.9% 첨가구가 다른 처리구에 비하여 유의적으로 증가하였고 (P<0.05) 육색은 저장기간중 전 처리구에서 증가하는 경향이었으며, 가열감량은 활성탄 0.9% 첨가구가 가장 낮았고, 보수력은 활성탄과 활성탄에 어유를 첨가한 구가 대조구에 비하여 높았음을 알수 있었다. This study was conducted to investigate the influence of dietary activated carbon(0.9%) and fish oil(0, 1, 2, 4%) addition on the weekly body weight gain, meat color, heating loss and WHC in breast and thigh of chicken meat. Broilers were randomly assigned to one of the five dietary treatment: 1) Control(commercial feed) 2) T1 (commercial feed supplemented with 0.9% activated carbon) 3) T2 (commercial feed with 0.9% activated carbon and 1% fish oil) 4) T3 (commercial feed with 0.9% activated carbon and 2% fish oil) 5) T-4 (commercial feed with 0.9% activated carbon and 4% fish oil). They were fed with one of the experimental diets for six weeks and slaughtered. After that, the meat samples were vacuum packaged and stored over a period of 10 days at 4±1℃. When broilers were fed with dietary activated carbon the body weight gain of birds were higher compared with that of treatment. The heating loss was tended to decrease in dietary activated carbon(T1)(P<0.05). The meat color of all treatments significantly increased during the storage periods(P<0.05). The activated carbon and fish diet increased the WHC(Water-holding capacity) of chicken meat during the storage periods(P<0.05).

      • 공기과잉율의 변화가 에탄올 혼합연료 기관의 배기 특성에 미치는 영향

        Ethanol is an attractive alternative fuel for automotive engine to overcome the limit of petroleum resources and pollution problems. Ethanol contains oxygen in itself and has ability to improve thermal efficiency owing to higher octane number than gasoline. Also it can be used as clean fuel for low emissions. The effect of gasoline-ethanol blends on the performance characteristics including exhaust emission of the MPI gasoline engine were examined. The experiments were carried out over the various air-fuel ratio. The blending rates of ethanol were selected as 10 to 30 percent according to the analysis of the properties of blended fuels. The emission characteristics of ethanol-blended fuels showed the similar trend with those of gasoline fuel, in general. Any observable quantitative differences in concentration of nitric oxides and carbon monoxide were not seen when the blended fuels were used, while the concentration of hydrocarbon is slightly reduced by the use of ethanol blended fuels compared with gasoline fuels.

        The ejector is used to get low pressure, and it has been applied to a lot of industry field like the heat engine, the fluid instrument power plant, the food industry, environment industry etc. because there are not any problem even it is mixed with kinds of liquid, gas, and solid. The flow characteristics in diffuser are investigated by PIV and CFD. The agreement between numerical analysis and experiment shows the validity of this study and the results of this study would be useful to the engineers who design for the flow systems for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and wastewater purification plants.

      • 자동차용 시로코팬의 유동특성에 관한 연구

        The sirocco fan is used to get low noise, and it has been applied to a lot of industry field like the heat engine, the fluid instrument power plant, the food industry, environment industry etc... because there are not problems even it is mixed with a any kind of liquid, gas, and solid. The flow characteristics in sirocco fan are investigated by PIV. The experiment using PIV measurement for Test section's flow characteristics acquired velocity distribution, Condition : when sirocco fan in automobile air controller maximum 1450RPM, and a revolution is a variation (l)950RPM, (2)l100RPM, (3) 1250RPM. The agreement a experiment shows the validity of this study and the results of this study would be useful to the engineers who design for the flow systems
