이젝터(Ejector)의 원리는 노즐에서 높은 유속을 갖고 분출하는 유체의 운동에너지에 의하여 저에너지 유체를 흡입하는 펌프의 일종이다. 이젝터는 생산현장의 열기관이나 유체기계발전소의 대류열전달 및 공기조화 덕트시스템에는 필연적으로 관로망이 연결되며 이들 관로망의 설계는 플렌트 전체의 효율뿐만 아니라 안정성과도 밀접한 관계를 갖고 있다. An ejector IS a fluid-transportation device, which spouts high-pressure fluid from driving pipes using kinetic energy of spouted fluid and raises pressure through exchange of momentum with surrounding gases of lower pressure. It can be manufactured with a simple structure irregardless of size of system, installed and used easily at places where fluid is flowing.

The ejector is used to get low pressure, and it has been applied to a lot of industry field like the heat engine, the fluid instrument power plant, the food industry, environment industry etc. because there are not any problem even it is mixed with kinds of liquid, gas, and solid. The flow characteristics in diffuser are investigated by PIV and CFD. The agreement between numerical analysis and experiment shows the validity of this study and the results of this study would be useful to the engineers who design for the flow systems for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and wastewater purification plants.

The flow characteristics in diffuser are investigated by prv and CFD. The experiment using PIV measurement for mixing pipe's flow characteristics acquired velocity distribution, .Condition : when mixing pipe's diameter ratio is 1:2.3, and the flux is Q₁ = 1.136 l/s, Q₂ = 1.706 l/s, Q₃ = 2.276 l/s . Based on the PIV and the CFD results, the flow characteristics in ejector are discussed, and it shows the validity of this study.

The ejector is generally used to get a low pressure and improve the flow efficiency. The flow characteristics in ejector are investigated by PIV and a numerical analysis to predict it has been performed by CFD. Physical properties are obtained for three different Reynolds numbers in experiment and numerical analysis The research is tried to analysis not only compression vacuum engine, but also substitution for pump as fluid mechanics method about ejector's mixing duct fluid character depend on Reynolds number. The good agreement between numerical analysis and experiment shows the validity of this study.
