        The effects of the material properties of thermal curtains upon reduction of the greenhouse heat loss were studied. A theoretical analysis procedure with equations and computer programs was developed to estimate them by using energy balance principles. Curtain effectiveness for every three kinds pf value level of the material properties were studied and compared. The results of this study would be useful for the developent and management of greenhouse thermal curtains.

      • 가스망의 흐름분석에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 가스망을 나타내는 방향그래프에서 말단의 사용자들의 가스 사용량이 주어져 있을 경우 다른 모든 정점들(정압기)을 흐르는 가스량을 구하는 문제를 고려하여 이를 규명하고 또한 주어진 가스망에서 사용자들의 가스 사용량이 주어져 있을 경우 다른 모든 정점들에 흐르는 가스량을 구하기 위한 최소수의 감지기(sensor)를 어느 가스관에 부착해야 하는지를 결정하는 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 그리고 위의 문제에서 source가 여러 개일 경우 이들 source들에서 나가는 가스량과 말단의 사용자들의 가스 사용량을 알고 있는 가정 하에 위의 문제를 다시 고려하여 이를 규명하였다. 그리고 감지기들이 부착된 가스망과 source들과 사용자들의 가스량에 대하여 나머지 모든 정점들의 흐름량을 구하는 알고리즘을 제시하였다. In this paper, we consider digraphs representing gas-networks in which gas quantity of end users is given. The problem of determining gas-flow of all the vertices is characterized. Given a gas-network, we present an algorithm of finding the minimum number of sensors which are attached to edges to determine gas-flow of all the vertices. Next we consider the problem to which the following assumptions are added: multiple sources exist and flow of each source is known. This problem is also characterized. Finally given a gas-network in which sensors are attached, we present an algorithm of determining gas-flow of all the vertices.

        폐좌상시 폐단락률과 PEEP치료의 효과

        To evaluate the physiologic extent of pulmonary contusion and effect of PEEP therapy for pulmonary contusion, we studied 16 patients received PEEP therapy with pulmonary contusion from nonpenetrating chest trauma. Hemodynamic parameters including pulmonary vascular resistance index and intrapulmonary shunt fraction were calculated from standard measurement, and arterial oxygen tension was measured. Pulmonary vascular resistance index and intrapulmonary shunt fraction were increased in patient group. Arterial oxygen tension was decreased with increase of the intrapulmonary shunt fraction(R=0.75). Arter minimal PEEP therap(5-10 ㎝H₂O), pulmonary vascular resistance index was remained unchanged and intrapulmonary shunt fraction was decreased without significant changes of pulmonary hemodynamics. Increment of arterial tension was increased with decrease of intrapulmonary shunt fraction(R=0.43). Decreased stroke volume index suggested of cardiac injury such as cardiac contusion in patient group. These results of our study suggested that increased intrapulmonary shunt fraction caused arterial hypoxia in pulmonary contusion and arterial oxygen tension was increased as a result of reduced intrapulmonary shunt by PEEP therapy.

        This paper presents an application of fuzzy logic for multi-valued grading system in industrial product classification. The background theory and the design of grading system are given along with the fuzzy membership function and the rules. The results of the case study are presented for the automotive relay, and it is concluded that the suggested system is competitive with traditional ways for grading products.

      • 시스템 改善을 위한 有用性 모델의 硏究

        The concept of availability includes reliability as well as preventive and corrective maintenance. An availability improvement models which includes both aspects of this problem and develops a costbased procedure for allocating the availability parameters(Repair times and failure rates) to the various components that make up a system is proposed in this paper. The improvement is handled as a cost minimization problem(Availability improvement cost), subject to the constraint of meeting a system availability requirement. The problem is solved using Lagrange Multipliers and an example is solved for the specific cost function. This technique is applicable in the early stage of system design to determine the detailed component availability specifications that will allow a system requirement to be met.

        This paper presents an strategy algorithm of a soccer robot. We simply classified strategy of soccer robot as attack and defense. We use DC-motor in our Soccer Robot. We use the vision system made by MIRO team of Kaist and Soty team for image processing. Host computer is made by Pentium III. The RF module is used for the communication between each robot and the host computer. Fuzzy logic is applied to the path planning of our robot. We improve strategy algorithm of soccer robot. Here we explain improvement of strategy algorithm and fault of the our soccer robot system.

      • 단순남성임균성 요도염에 대한 Clavulanatepotentiated Amoxycillin(CPA)의 치료효과

        At the Venerel Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul 103 patients with uncomplicated gonococcal urethritis were allocated randomly into one of 2 treatment regimens and 101 male patients were followed. All 51 patients, including PPNG infections, treated with clavulante-potentiated amoxycillin, 375 mg, PO, t.i.d for 5 days recovered (100%). Two (4%) of 50 patients treated with clavulanate-potentiated amoxycillin, 3.25g, PO plus probvenecid, 1g, PO failed to recover. These cases were 2 of 25 Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae (PPNG) infections (failure rate of 8%) and all 25 non-PPNG infections recovered (100%). The antibiotics susceptibility pattern of pre-and post-treatment isolates from these cases did not give conclusive evidence of reinfection and the patients denied having has sexual intercourse during the follow up period. The fact that these treatment failure cases showed negative culture on the first follow up (at 24 hours) and positive result on the second follow up at 3rd post treatment day suggests that test of cure culture at 24 hours after treatment is not the optimal time. It is suggested that both of these clavulanate-potentiated amoxycillin regimens have simiarly good effect with minimal side effects in the treatment of gonococcal urethritis and , because of high rate of PPNGs among circulating N.gonorrhoeae, they can be recommended as the first line treatment for gonorrhoea in Korea.
