The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors which affect the kitchen furniture design. Besides it suggest the helpful sources to the kitchen furniture design. A total of 179 females was sampled who are living in Seoul and 20 to 30's age. The data were analyzed by the statistical methods such as frequency, percentile and x2 verification through spss pc. The kitchen furniture is affected by the following variables in order : age, education level and marriage. Based on the above finding, the variables which affect the kitchen furniture design should be researched.

Lead acetate trihydrate, zirconium iso-propoxide and titanium iso-propoxide used for the starting material to fabricate PZT coating solution. Iso-metoxy-ethanol used for the solvent of the starting material. Adding diethanolamine formed the chelate compound and prevented the hydrosis of coating solution. The coating sol solution is changed to M-O-M structure polymer gel by adding H_2O, and the polymer gel has the more strong bonding force. The cross-sectional SEM micrograph of PZT thin film showed that the metal of lower electrode was silicated with SiO_2 of buffer layer. The SIMS depth profile for PZT thin film indicated that the metal of lower electrode and silicon was diffused up to the upper part of PZT thin film. For the X-RD data of PZT thin film, the thin film on Pt substrate and with Ti buffer layer had strong perovskite phase. The PZT thin films measured by Sawyer-Tower circuit showed feroelectric characteristic representating D-E hysterisis curve. The remanent polarization and coercive field of the film was 1.92 C/㎠ and 33.3kV/㎝. I-V characteristic curve showed that the leakage currents and break down voltages of PZT thin films on Ni/SiO_2/Si, Ti/SiO_2/Si, Pt/SiO_2/Si substrate was 1.43 × 10 exp (-10) A/㎠, 1.19×10 exp (-10) A/㎠, 2.28×10 exp (-10) A/㎠ and 0.334 MV/㎝, 0.33 MV/㎝, 0.11 MV/㎝ each. C-V curve indicated dielectric constant 57 The resistance antiresonance frequency of PZT film was 612 ㎒, and the resistance was 14 ㏀ at that frequency.
한국 여성사 정립을 위한 인물 유형 연구 : from Ancient Times to Tae-han Che-guk(大韓帝國) 고대에서 대한제국 시대까지

This study is an attempt to analyse the types of women recorded in historical documents. The categories are broadly divided in three areas; political, social and familial spheres. In the political sphere, three queens in Shilla period, the only period in Korean history when a queen was the supreme ruler, and women who had a formal right to be involved in the determination of soverign successor, to assume regency, and who had various informal political influence. In the social sphere, women's economic and religeous activities were examined. Also women specialists such as medicine women, shamans and kisaeng (entertainers) are examined in this category. In the familial sphere, conjugal relationships of first (legitimate) wives and concubines, and women's status and activities are investigated. The gradual establishment of patriarchal system initiated by the state, and the conflict of women's interests in the process was analysed. As a result of this preliminary analyses, it became clear that the social position of women in Korean history was constricted with the growth of the power of the state. In the case of ancient Korea and Koryo period women's status in the family was comparatively higher and their personal activities were freer although their political and social activities were restricted. As time progressed, the establishment and reinforcement of partriarchal system of the state based on confucian ideology had crucial importance on the position of women in society. The system of family was restructured and carefully monitored, and the members of the family were closely controlled. The state sought the material and ideological bases of the power through these control. As a result, the status of women became more structurally subjugated to make heads of the family, especially after the mid Choson dynasty.

Chungnam National University (CNU) is located in Daeduk Science Town, a center of science and technology in Korea, and it is expected to play an important role in the development of science in Korea. With this in mind, the basic natural sciences at CNU should be more actively supported in both education and research. Accordingly analysis and comparison of the basic science program at major college in Korea as well as those in the USA and Europe has been performed. The current cooperative relationship between CNU and research institutes in the science town has also been analyzed. This study has resulted in propositions to make more efficient the upbringing of the basic sciences at CNU, by focusing on the following points ; a) to improve academic affairs, b) to make graduate studies substantial, c) to secure highly qualified faculty members, d) to increase cooperation in research between CNU and reserch institutes, e) to enlarge research laboratories and acquire more equipment and facilities.

Many of the growth-promoting properties of growth hormone(GH) are mediated by insulin-like growth factor-I(IGF-I), a highly conserved circulating 70-amino acid peptide. Recent studies have shown that multiple mechanisms influence IGF-I gene expression, including transcription from two promoters, alternative RNA splicing, and variable polyadenylation. In thyroid tissue, thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH) and IGF-I are the most possible candidates for follicular cell proliferation and hypertrophy. Actually IGF-I had autocrine and paracrine effect for tissue growing. We prepared thyroid tumor tissue mRNAs using single step method for detecting IGF-I levels according to different tissues, i.e., thyroid adenoma or papillary thyroid carcinoma. We used Northern blot analysis for IGF-I mRNA and RNase protection assay (RPA) for IGF-I transcription start sites. For Northern blot, we used whole human IGF-I cDNA as a DNA probe and for RPA, we used IGF-I exon 1 containing noncoding promoter 1 as a riboprobe. We got good RNA bands from Northern blot analysis around 1 kb (IGF-IA) and 7.5 kb (IGF-IB) region. To clarify the amount of both IGF-IA and IB mRNAs, we measured autoradiographied signal of IGF-I mRNAs bands using densitometer. In IGF-IA signals, there's no change among liver and thyroid tissues, but in case of IGF-IB mRNA bands, the signal was markedly increased in thyroid carcinoma tissues than that of normal thyroid tissue (85% vs 14%). In the study of RPA, all thyroid tissues used the same transcription start sites as those of liver's. We concluded that that this different regulation of IGF-I mRNA was originated from tissue specificity. That meant some tissue specific transcription factor/s were related to tissue IGF-I expression.

Allenic and epoxy carotenoid, fucoxanthin (1) was isolated from the marine bacillariophycean microalga Hantzschia marina and the structure was assigned on the basis of comprehensive spectroscopic analyses. Fucoxanthin was detected only from diatom among three families (green algae, diatom and blue-green algae) of the marine microalgae tested. Fucoxanthin showed free radical scavenging activity against 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and peroxynitrite (ONOO^-) with IC50 values of 32 μM and 60 μM, respectively.
