        A. 高校 科學 (生物·地球科學) 및 數學科 探究學習의 評價模型 定立과 評價紙 開發

        Currently the evaluation of high school science and mathematics learning has been too much knowledge-centered without concerning the inquiring ability or scientific attitude. This study, therefore, was made for the purpose of establishing of evaluation model for high school science (biology and earth science) and mathematics learning and its evaluation items. In this paper, the research was done about three fields, biology, earth science and mathematics. 1. For the biology, the evaluation methods of inquiry learning were studied with the foreign references, and proper evaluation items were suggested. 2. For the earth science, after analizing 5 kinds of earth science textbook of current using in high school, essential 19 items were selected. 5 of them were tested in test group and control group, then, the results were analized. 3. For the mathematice, the teaching elements of「Set」and「Flow chart」in mathematics (Ⅰ) were selected and structured. Detailed teaching objects were established and evaluation items were introduced.

        數學科 問題解決 學習의 指導에 關한 硏究

        The purpose of this article is to establish some principles in helping students study in order to enhance the ability of solving problems reasonably by using fundamental mathematical skills, and to bring forth the improvement of mathematics education by using the above mentioned principles. In this work we investigate the following subjects ; (1) Fundamental concepts and strategies of teaching students for mathematics problem solving achieved in nineteen eighties in and out of Korea. (2) Current status of problem solving ability of middle and highschool students and teachers. (3) We first made 「motivation-advice cards」 about the problem solving strategy according to the classification of problem solving thought format, and then we used them in highschool classes. We test the result. We obtained the following conclusions ; (1) The style of test problems has to be changed from multiple choice form which is widely used in various evaluation examinations to writing style. (2) Studies of teaching method to help students extend their creativity, and making good problems and invention of instructive devices are required. (3) After making the students aware of the importance of problem solving strategy and of the way how to use it, we have to lead the students to acquire the habit of using them.

      • 實驗大學 實施에 따른 師範大學 學生實態 (Ⅱ)

        The purposes of this study were (1) to reexamine what were found by the survey on KNU Teachers College Students after the Pilot School Project (Ⅰ) in order to assess the possibility of .generalizing results of the survey across different groups of students who enter Teachers College after the Pilot School Project was implemented, (2) and to examine students' opinion toward the current procedures of assingning freshemen to departments or majors of the Teachers College. The subjects were freshmen of KNU Teachers' College from 1975 to 1777 academic year. However, the data pertaining to the students from 1975 to 1976 had been gathered while the survey on Teachers College Students after the Pilot School (Ⅰ) was being carried out. In order to collect the data with regard to the students entered the Teachers College in 1977, four different questionnaives were employed. The data were statistically tested by means of chi-technique only when it seemed necessary and appropriate. Major findings of this study are as following: (1) After the Pilot School Project was employed, there were general tendency in students' reason applying for admission to KNU Teachers College: Each academic year, approximately 40% of freshmen decided to enter the college to be secondary school teachers in the future. (2) Students' attitude toward the new procedures of screening college applicants, which was employed after the Pilot School Project, were negative in general. Furthermore, their negative attitude became stronger year by year. (3) The degree of students' satisfaction with their majors were relatively higher than that expressed by the students who entered the college before the Pilot School Project was employed. (4) Both students' criteria for selecting their majors and then reasons for changing their majors which they had been interested in applying were varied across time subjects and time. (5) The obtained contingency coefficient between departments and GPA students of each department earned during thir freshmen year was 0.831. It seems to indicate that majority of freshment tends to choose their majors according to their GPA rather than their interest or aptitude. (6) Approximately 67.73% of freshmen of the 1977 academic year accepted the end of the academic year as the most appropriate time for assigning them to departments they desire to enter. 7) Approximately 52.10% of freshment supported the idea of assigningas many students to the departments as they wish to enter, as far as it is possible, by adjusting the capacity of department, which is regulated by MOE. (8) Approximately 61.08% of freshmen claimed not to deduct their GPA when their first choice of department became impossible and turned down to the second or the third one.

        數學敎育硏究의 最近 動向

        This is a report on the recent currents of the studies on mathematics education in Japan based on the collected materials and discussions with professors T. Miwa and N. Nohda at the Mathematics Education Research Room, Tsukuba University in Japan, from December 1986 to June 1987 at which time the writer was visiting Tsukuba University, according to the Teachers College Professors Study Abroad Project of the Ministry of Education supported by 1986 IBRD Education Loan. In Japan, mathematics education research progresses in two directions (1) find the base of mathematics thinking and problem solving through the investigation of traditional mathematical conceptions of the era from the Meiji age to the early years of the Showa, (2) Research through experimental, analytical methods of the psychology developed in the advanced western countries. Recently, with the settling and rapid activating of the researches of (2) by young scholars, interchanges and coresearches between America and Japan are widening in the direction of (2). On the other hand, the teachers are keen on research and there are many research associations lead mainly by professors. Considering these currents of mathematics education of Japan, we give some suggestions to promote the mathematics education of Korea in this report.

        Owing to the curriculum's revision of primary and high school in the beginning of 1970, several elementary concepts of modern mathematics were introduced as new teaching contents. So the efficient ways to reeducate the present teachers and to publish a desirable textbook have been badly needed. In this paper, we investigate the present situations of administration and teachers of mathematics department in the city and rural area. On the basis of these results, we find out the better ways of mathematics education from the following points of view: 1. The general administrations of mathematics department. 2. The reeducation and education for mathematics teachers. 3. Mathematics textbooks. 4. Evaluations and tests.

      • USLE 계열모형의 매개변수 산정에 관한 연구

        In this study, USLE series parameter's characters are assessed each parameter. Main topic is propose for Assesment method. In case of Soil erosion energy factor for single storm, return period is commended 5 year. In case of Soil Erodibility factor, Percentage of Clay is increase then K value is decrease. In case of Slope Steepness-length factor, If the homogeneous slope length divide into short length, Sediment yield become exaggerated estimation. In condition of low steepness Slope basin, As the sensibility of Slope gradient, estimation of slope gradient must to be exceedingly careful. Also, the average slope where is low slope gradient basin is to be prudent. In spite of the same site, design engineer understood that site is convex configuration, soil erosion is estimated very much. In this study proposed cover factor estimation process. In case of soil conservation practice factor, I proposed that P factor substituted for delivery ratio, developed by US Forest Service.

        數學敎育의 現況 分析과 改善 方案(Ⅰ) : 圖形의 變換의 指導內容 分析 The Analysis of Contents about Transformation of Figure

        Some concepts of modern mathematics give rise to the new contents of school mathematics in accordance with the modernization movement of mathematics education. The trasformation of the figures is one of contents. In the present paper, to find out the effective teaching methods for the transformations of figures, we study the followings; (1) the structures of various transformations (2) analizing the curriculum and the mathematics textbooks (3) organizing the development of contents by logical arguments (4) pointing out difficult aspects of contents which can be found in the educating place.

      • 축냉재 포접화합물의 열물성에 관한 실험적 연구(Ⅲ) : 충전량 변화 Variations of Charging Conditions

        The objective of this paper is to investigate the thermal properties of TMA-clathrate compound in order to applicate cold storage system to residential air-conditioning. Especially, the test tube experiments are performed by comparing and analyzing the concentration of TMA-clathrate compound, the temperature of heat source, and the phase change temperature, specific heat and subcooling characteristics on the point of the variation of charge capacity. The results are summarized as follows; 1) When the temperature of heat source is -15℃, the stability of the thermal properties is appeared high in the whole experiments 2) The effect of subcooling suppression is improved around 0.6℃ when the temperature of heat source is -15℃, while the teemperature of subcooling is about 2.2℃ when the temperature of heat source is -10℃. Especially, it did not almost present any subcooling in the 26wt% of the 5g and the 25wt%, 30wt% of the 10g. Thus, we concluded that TMA-clathrate compound has thermal properties as the cold storage medium for residential air-conditioning.
