조선후기 기독교(基督敎) 수용의 사회(社會), 사상적(思想的) 배경

The primary purpose of this paper is to assess the social environment and people`s ideology, life style which were the period of previous modern age. At that time the Protestant was not still spreaded in the Cho-seon dynasty, but on the other hand the Confucianism was general tended since the 17th century. It was the common thing in those ages that the inequality was a heavy burden to the women and the slaves. Especially when the political party of the Noron took the helm of state, the inequality was deepened and the opposite political party of the Soron was more isolated. Because of those social atmosphere, they had been denied the existing social idea and as a result the standard of the social values were changed. And the changing of the social values were afforded an opportunity of the new religion Dong-hak which were emphasized the importance of the human rights and equality. In the same age eventually the Roman Catholicism were come to this country, Cho-seon. They took the new religions as a matter of course. Because they had declared themselves against the inequality, oppression and the irrational family system. The people who followed the new religion especially the Roman Catholicism believed the Cheon-Ju as one and only God instead the exciting King and the aristocratic class, Yang-ban. More and more they were inclined the new ideology which emphasized the equality of all kind of human. IThe more Roman Catholicism was spread out, the more religious persecution were happened. Lots of the believers were punished the death. At those times the case of the "Hwang-Sa Yeong`s letter on silk" was happened. Even though Hwang`s mainly attitude was toward the dependent on the western country`s power, we could find out the people who appeared on the letter were truly believer as the christian. The later period of the Cho-seon, the inequality was dominated over all kind of the society, and many of the catholic martyr and martyress made the finally the sacrifice the reception of Protestant.

Optimal Features for Classifying Giemsa-Stained Human Chromosomes with An Error-Backpropagation Neural Network

Many studies for computer-based chromosome analysis using artificial neural network (ANN) have shown that it is possible to classify chromosomes into 24 subgroups. It is important to select optimum features for training the ANN. Our purpose was to select features that had the low classification error and the best ability for human chromosome classification. We applied the medial axis transformation for the medial line, extended the line to the boundary and obtained relative length, relative area and centromeric index. The Giemsa-stained human chromosome has a sequence of banding pattern that is perpendicular to the medial axis of the chromosome. Density profile is a one-dimensional graph of the banding pattern property of the chromosome computed at a sequence of points along the possibly curved chromosome medial axis. Some studied used relative length, centromeric index and 62 density profile as features, but we prepared two data sets as features that one set was relative length, centromeric index and 80 density profile considered No. 1 chromosome's length and the other was relative length, centromeric index, the 80 density profile and relative area and compared classification error of each set. We found that the classification error showed to be decreased by adding relative area to the other features.

Periapical multilocular osteoporotic bone marrow defect

A case of osteoporotic bone marrow defect, which appeared as a well-defined multilocular radiolucency overlapping the roots of mandibular right second molar, was reported. On periapical radiograph, a daughter cyst-like radiolucency was seen at the anterior margin of the lesion making it difficult to rule out odontogenic keratocyst.

과실이 크고 품질이 우수한 조생종 배 ‘금촌조생’ 육성

‘금촌조생’ 품종은 농촌진흥청 원예연구소 나주배연구소에서 1971년 ‘금촌추’의 품질을 개선하기 위해 당도가 높고 육질이 유연한 ‘단배’를 교배하여 1982년 1차 선발되었고, 1997년부터 5년 간 지역적응시험을 거쳐 2001년 최종 선발 및 품종보호출원 되었다. 수세는 비교적 강하고, 수자는 반개장성이다. 꽃가루가 풍부하며, 주요 재배품종과 교배친화성을 보인다. 또한 흑반병에 대하여 강한 포장저항성을 나타내었다. 숙기는 재배중인 ‘원황’ 품종보다 약 5일 정도 늦은 9월 3일로 추석에 출하하기 알맞은 품종이다. 과형은 ‘금촌추’와 같은 도원추형이고, 과피색은 황갈색이다. 과중은 593g이고, 당도는 13.2Bx이다. 육질은 유연하며 과즙이 풍부하고, 석세포가 없어 식미가 매우 우수하다. 그러나 과육선숙형 품종으로 원예적 수확기에도 과피에 녹색이 남지만, 완숙과가 되면 황갈색으로 착색된다. 상온저장 기간은 20일 정도로 다른 조생종에 비해 저장력은 좋은 편이다. ‘Geumchonjosaeng’ pear cultivar (Pyrus pyrifolia var. culta Nakai) originated from the cross between ‘Imamuraaki’ and ‘Danbae’ to improve the fruit quality of ‘Imamuraaki’ cultivar in 1971 at Naju Pear Research Institute of National Horticultural Research Institute (NHRI), Rural Development Administration (RDA). It was preliminarily selected in 1982 and named in 2001. The tree habit shows vigorous growth and upright spreading. It carries abundant pollen grains and shows cross compatibility with leading cultivars. Also it shows high resistance to black leaf spot (Alternaria kikuchiana) in the field condition. Optimum harvest time is around Sep. 3, which is 5 days later than that of ‘Wonwhang’, and it could satisfy consumer’s demand for high quality pear fruit in “Chuseok”. The obovate fruit shape resembles maternal parent, ‘Imamuraaki’ and skin color is green yellowish brown at normal harvesting time and gradually turned to yellowish brown at full ripennig state. Fruit weighs about 593 g, and the soluble solid content is 13.5 ˚Bx. The flesh is very soft and juicy and, rendering good eating quality. Shelf life is about 20 days under the ambient temperature, and it is a relatively long period as compare with other early season cultivars.

경부에 발생한 침습성 지장종의 치험례

Lipomas make up 4∼5% of all benign tumors in the body and are most often located on shoulders and backs. Neck lipomas are often developed in the subcutaneous tissues of the posterior neck, Most lipomas have slow growth rate and the recurrence is very rare after surgical excision because of well-defined border. But lipoma originated from muscles(intramuscular and intermuscular lipoma), so called infiltrating lipoma, has ill-defined border and little or no evidence of encapsulation. Histologically the feature of infiltrating lipoma is distinctive. There is a consistent infiltration with dissociation of the surrounding muscle fibers. The overall recurrence rate is less than 5%, but rises to 62.5% when deep infiltrating lipomas are considered separately. Thus infiltrating lipoma is best excised with a margin of normal muscle to avoid recurrence. Its location in the head and neck is uncommon. 18 cases of infiltrating lipoma in the head and neck has been reported to date. Here we report a case of infiltrating lipoma that arises in the head and neck muscle with a review of the literature on the subject.

동물과 사람유래 Vancomycin 내성 장구균의 항균제 감수성 비교

It has been recently reported the possibility in the bansfer of antimicrobial resistance to other animals and humans. In particular, vancomycin resistant enterococci (VRE), which have been known as a principal antimicrobial resistant bacteria in humans, have been increased as a pathogen of nosocomial infections. And then animal VRE were suspected as an origin of human VRE. In this study, we isolated Enterococcus spp. from animals, identified by bio- chemical tests, examined for antimicrobial susceptibility, and then compared the antimicrobial susceptibility of VRE among each other as well as human VRE. Enterococcus iecium (29%) was predominant in Enterococcus species (n=122) isolated from animal feces in this study. E. hirae, E. iecalis, E. casseliflam and E. gallinarum were also isolated as rates of 24%, 21%, 16% and 7%, respectively. The resistance of enterococci to penicillin and tetracycline were 66% and 78%, respectively, and the susceptibility of them to chloramphenicol was 66%. Antimicrobial susceptibility test has shown that 91% of VRE from humans (n=11) was susceptible to chloramphenicol and all resistant to penicillin, rifampin and streptomycin. Seventy-five percentage of VRE from chickens (n = 12) was susceptible to rifampin and resistances of them to penicillin, tetracycline and sbeptomycin were 75%, 83%, and l00%, respectively. Therefore, we confirmed the difference of antimicrobial susceptibility from animals and humans, and the antimicrobial susceptibility test could be one of the simple and useful methods for the epidemiological survey of VRE.

교수매체로서 인터넷 활용방안 연구 : 고등학교 중국어 교육을 중심으로

The internet started in the end of the 20th century comes to be a base of a information network and a knowledge. Developed countries now concentrate information education by using the internet, because they consider that the ability of collecting and re-interpreting information is very important. So the Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development of Korea is also promoting people to be educated in the internet. And it is now leading the system of education to be changed as the 7th Course of Study shows. Therefore, the fact that we must use the internet as the following generation's media is obvious. Besides, teachers of high schools must be able to make plans for a class by using internet as a developed material which is already used in many ways, and to carry a research out and adopt it as a teaching method. When teachers teach Chinese which students are willing to choose as an optional subject, they must utilize it as teaching media effectively. The policy of information education was generally examined in chapter 2. However, in chapter 3, Chinese education by using the internet in the actual spot of a high school was revealed to be still in a transition period. I researched, with the inquiry, the reason why they can not use internet as a teaching method, and grasped the reform measures such as the distribution of hardwares, the development and supply softwares, the expansion of training for teachers, and so on. I made the homepage which is easily available with teachers, in which web-sites related to Chinese education were classified as teaching aims, in chapter 4. This is especially for teachers so that they can improve the ability of using the internet and utilizing it in class. I firmly believe that this plan by using the internet can realize the educational ideology of the following generation and can make teachers recognize the importance of using the internet in class.

Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA Typing에 의한 동물과 사람 유래 Vancomycin 내성 장구균의 유전학적 비교

It has been recently reported the possibility in the transfer of antimicrobial resistant to other animals and humans. In particular, the occurrence of vancomycin resistant enterococci (VRE), which have been known as a principal antimicrobial resistant bacteria in humans, has been increased as a pathogen of nosocomial infections. And then animal VRE were suspected as an origin of human VRE. In this work, we investigated the relatedness between VRE from animals and humans through random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) typing. The genetic relatedness of vanA, vanB, vanC-1 and vanC-2 genotypes was examined by RAPD typing, respectively. van4 genotypes have not been shown high genetic relationship each other, containing VRE from humans (n = 8) and chickens (n = 5). In vanB genotypes from humans (n = 3), 2 isolates were made up one cluster, shown 77.8% homology. Chicken isolates of vanC-1 genotypes (n = 11) were constituted 2 clusters and the homology of 2 clusters was 81.8% and 80.0%, respectively. In case of vanC-2 genotypes (n = 19), 2 isolates from pigs have been shown 76.9% homology. But, between VRE from animals and humans, the isolates of high genetic relationship could not be found and RAPD typing was a useful epidemiological method that could be confirmed the genetic relationship among VRE.

Triazolam 의존 1례 : 불안증상과 치료를 중심으로 Focusing Anxiety Symptoms and Treatment

항불안제, 진정수면제로 정신과뿐만 아니라 임상각과에서 널리 사용되고 있는 벤조디아제핀(Benzodiazepine) 제재는 일정기간 이상 장기간 사용하면 내성 및 신체적, 심리적 의존이 생기고 갑자기 중단하면 금단증상이 생기는 단점이 있어 임상의들의 각별한 주의를 요한다. 이중에서도 특히 Triazolam은 반감기가 타 벤조디아제핀 제재에 비하여 상대적으로 매우 짧아서 내성과 의존성, 그리고 금단증상이 심하다. 그럼에도 불구하고 아직 국내에는 Triazolam 의존에 대한 보고가 없다. 저자들은 Triazolam 의존에 의해 불안을 위주로 하는 금단증상을 보이는 환자를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Benzodiazepines, which used to and would be prescribed frequently as anxiolytic sedative hypnotics not only in psychiatric field but also in almost all clinical departments, are prone to develop tolerance, physical and psychological dependence, and withdrawal symptoms after abrupt discontinuation. Owing to shorter plasma half life, severe degree of tolerance, physical and psychological dependence, and withdrawal symptoms after abrupt discontinuation have been developed in a case of trizaolam dependence. Nevertheless, no single case of triazolam dependence was reported yet in Korean. The authors experienced a single case of triazolam dependence, so report with literature review.
