In order to recyling expended polystyrene (EPS) wastes, volume-reduced EPS and rubber (NR, SBR) blends were prepared by melting-blending in a injection molder and investigated its mechanical properties such as impact strength and tensile strength. The volume-reduction process of EPS carried out by hot-pressed at 150℃ for 10 min using a roll-mill (called RPS) and compared with a hot-wind contacting method (TPS). Impact strength of RPS/rubber blend a increase of 2-5 times as compared with TPS/rubber blends. When the contents of rubber in RPS/SBR blends were around 15 wt%, maximum tensile modulus was obtained.

In this paper, the performance of active sonar system is analyzed under various underwater acoustic environments using the multipath eigenray model in shallow water. In addition, an approximated shallow-water propagation model is proposed for the active sonar based on MacPherson and Daintith's model and corresponding equations comprising active sonar parameters are derived. To analyze the sonar performance according to the changes of various sonar parameters, a large number of measurements and results in ocean acoustics and digital signal processing are combined. The proposed model is compared with the multi-path eigenray model in terms of the echo level passed through the beamformer, the input SNR of the detector and the detection probability.

Single-Phase diode rectifiers are widely used in industry. These rectifier, however, generate many harmonic components in the AC Power line and have the poor input power factor, which may create a power quality problem for other electrical apparatus in the vicinity of the rectifier. Power factor improvement and harmonic reduction in the AC line current have become very significant problems in single-phase diode rectifiers. In this paper, the high power factor boost converter using soft switching is proposed to improve the demerit. The simulation results show the validity of the proposed system.

It is not easy to improve technical, artistic skill maxmize training factor by teaching of dance. It means complemental program concerning the factor of energy, flexibility and cadiovascular state etc. is necessary. 1. In the past we thought weight training decelerates speed, weakens, flexibility of joint, so that blings about musde rigidity. The theory was disappeared by researches of the latter of 1950's and 1960's. Researches turned out weight training does not cleceletrate velocity, weaken flexibility. In fact, excellent body builders are very flexible to joint have a good activity speed. 2. Therefore through weight training dancers are able to enhance muscle strength and muscular endurance, abstain physiological, secondly good respect and the help of the prevention of hurt by enhancing muscle around joint and Tendons. So through program research we are going to persuit theorical understanding converting the recognition of dancer and suggest program enharcing muscle strength and muscular endurance for the practal help of dancer in physical activity.
혈중 및 호기 일산화탄소를 이용한 일산화탄소 헤모글로빈 농도간의 관련성 연구

This study was conducted to find a correlation between blood COHb and calculated COHb with expiratory air and related variables such as occupational and smoking factors. Author selected 69 healthy workers in 8 workplaces suspected CO exposure. Basic informations were collected by self-reported questionnaire and medical history taking. Author measured Indirect COHb concentration with expiratory air using Micro II-Smokerlyzer and blood COHb concentration using Oxymeter. The results of the study were summarized as follows : 1. In the smoker, mean blood COHb and calculated COHb with expiratory air were 2.21±0.98% and 2.27±0.97 %, and there was not a statistically significant difference. In the non-smoker, mean blood COHb and calculated COHb with expiratory air were 0.42±0.43 % and 0,65±0.30 %, and there was also not a statistically significant difference. 2. There were positive correlations between blood COHb and calculated COHb with expiratory air in both the smoker (r=0.91, p=0.0001) and non-smoker (r=0.73, p=0.0001). 3. In the smoker, the factors affected COHb were total smoking index (Pack × years) and passed time after the last smoking. 4. In the nonsmoker, the parking and driving groups had higher COHb concentration than others (p<0.05). In conclusion, there was no significant difference between indirect COHb concentration with expiratory air using Smokerlyzer and blood COHb concentration and there was a highly significant correlation between indirect and blood COHb concentrations. Therefore indirect COHb concentration with expiratory air is a useful screening method for CO exposure. Author suggest the resection of smoking during at least 90 minutes before measuring COHb concentration in order to exclude smoking effects.
Whirl Fire와 Pool Fire의 화염 거동에 관한 연구

4-panel of Im height and 45cm width were fixed on the 40cmx40cm bottom plate and the opening of the panel comer was 5cm. Diameter of stainless vessel is 10em and its height is 2cm and it located at the center of the bottom plate. 78mL liquid fuel was filled in the vessel and its depth was lcm. Flame temperature was measured with K type thermocouple, and radiation heat of flame was measured with heat flux meter. Flame height and its behavior was visualized with video camera. and mass burning rate was measured by fuel combustion time. According to the development of fire, flame swirling was begin. From the experiment the mass burning rate was larger and the height of flame was higher than the usual pool fire flame. Flame temperature and heat flux also increased far more than the pool fire. Consequently the swirling air flow through the openings between the panel and thermal buoyance contribute to increase of heat release rate, flame length and mass burning rate.

Owing to lack of common space in multi-family housing, the residential environments has come to be desolate. Fundamentally this is the result caused by the severance between private and public spaces. The semi-private or semi-public spaces, such as a small common space and pedestrian mall, should be rehabilitate appropriately as a transitional area. In the case of multi-family housing, the transitional common spaces have an influence upon the privacy, the safety and the identity, and play significant roles as a connector between spaces, especially between exterior and interior space. In this context, this study classified types of transitional common spaces and analyzed their design characteristics in the apartment housing estates.
