        소뇌에 발생한 Nocardiosis : 증례 보고 Case Report

        The authors report a extemely rare case of primary cerebellar nocardial abscess. Cerebral nocardiosis is rare disease and often fatal, and often fatal, and commonly spreaded from nocardiosis of lung or skin. Total excision of abscess and medication with sulfonamide is the treatment of choice. The patient was treated by continuous external dirainage with intermittent irrigation of abscess cavity by sulfonamide and given with sulfonamide for 10 months.

        임신중 요통증

        The authors surveyed one-hundred women whithin 24-36 hours after delivary for the evaluation of low back pain in pregnancy. It showed that 55% of them suffered from low back pain during pregnancy. Low back pains mostly started form 6-9 months of gestational age. Low back pains were tolerable at 84% of them. And low back pains were not aggravated during pregnancy among the 67% of low back pain pregnant women. Leg pains were noted at 34% of low back pain group.

      • 고온 초전도체 Y Pr Zn Ba₂Cu₃O의 자기적 성질

        전이 온도가 72K인 Y?Pr?-Zn?Ba?Cu?O?고온 초전도체에 초전도성을 약화시키는 Pr 원소와 Zn를 적절한 비율로 치환하여 자기적 특성을 연구하였다. Zn가 첨가되었을 때의 임계온도(전이온도)는 35~ 44K의 값을 나타내었다. 온도에 대한 비저항의 측정으로 구한 전기적 임계온도와 온도 대 자기 모우먼트 측정으로 구한 자기적 임계온도 값은 거의 비슷했다. 자기이력 곡선으로부터 H?(저임계자기장), H?(고임계자기장)와 반자성 정도를 구했으며, Bean의 모델을 이용하여 임계전류밀도를 구하였다.이러한 자기적 성질들은 시료에 Zn가 첨가되자 급격히 감소되었다. 임계전류밀도의 경우 x=0.0인 시료가 1.6x 10?A/㎠으로 계산되었고, Zn가 첨가된 다른 시료의 임게전류밀도는 3.5x10?~1.3x10?A/㎠범위의 값을 나타내었다. 이것은 시료내에서 Znr가 초전도성을 급격하게 감소시킴을 의미한다. We have studied magnetic property as a substitute appropriate propertation of Zn element for Pr element which reduces superconducting property in high-temperature superconductor Y?Pr??Zn?Ba?Cu?O?? of transition temperature 72K, When Zn is put into it, critical temperature showed the value of measurement at th range of 35 ~44K. The electric critical temperature determinded by the temperature dependence of resistivity had a similar data to the magnetic citical temperature determinded by the temperature dependence of at the range of 35 ~ 44K. The electric critical temperature determined by the temperature dependence of resistivity had a similar data to the magnetic critical temperature determined by the temperature vs. magnetic moment. H?(critical low mgnetic field ), H?(critical high magnetic field), diamagnetic ratio and critical current density calulated by Bean's model from the magnetic hysterisis curve. These properties were abruptly decreased with adding Zn in the samples, Especially , the critical current desity of x=0.0 sample was calculated at 1/6x 10?A/㎠.These mean that Zn in the sample decreases superconduting properties in the sample.

      • 비확공성 골수강내 금속정을 이용한 폐쇄성 경골 간부 골절의 치료

        Most of closed fractures of the tibial shaft can be treated successfully with medullary nails. Reamed intramedullary nailing technique has become a good alternative method in treating the close tibial fracture. Unreamed interlocking intramedullary nailing has been employed successfully in the treatment of open tibial fractures. This study was undertaken to evaluate the result of interlocking intramedullary nailing without reaming in the treatment of closed fractures of the tibial shaft. From 1995 through 1998, fifty four cases of the closed, displace tibial fractures were treated by an unreamed intramedullary nailing and the average follow-up period was 1 year and 5 months(ranged from 12 months to 27 months). The results were as follows : 1. Fifty four cases were treated with closed, unreamed nailing technique and the nail which has 1mm smaller diameter than isthmic width of unaffected tibia was choosen. 2. The average time to bony union was achieved at 17 weeks without abundant periosteal b callus formation. 3. Eight tibiae were required the additional procedure such as autogenous bone graft, skin graft or local skin flap. We also have observed the screw breakage of ten tibiae but there were no intraoperative jamming or incarceration and no significant complicaton such as bending or breakage of the nail, shortening or non-union of the fractures. In conclusion, unreamed technique is an attractive method to treat the close, displaced fractures of the tibial shaft. 경골 간부 골절의 치료에 있어서 견고한 내 고정으로 조기 관절운동 및 체중 부하를 통해 골절 유합 및 기능 회복을 도모할 수 있는 골수강내 금속정 고정술이 널리 사용되어지고 있다. 골수강내 금속정술의 장점은 술 후 조기 관절운동과 체중 부하가 가능하여 이환율(morbidity)을 감소시키며 불유합의 발생률이 낮아는 것이다. 경골 간부 골절의 치료에 있어서 비확공성 금속정 고정술은 주로 심한 연부 조직 손상을 동반한 골절 및 개방성 골절의 치료에 적용되어지고 있으며, 대부분의 폐쇄성 경골 간부 골절의 치료로는 골수강 확공 후 골수강을 충만시키는 금속정을 삽입하는 확공정 금속정 고정술이 시행되어지고 있는 경향이다. 저자들은 폐쇄성 경골 간부 골절에 대해서 비확공성 금속정 고정술의 유용성 여부를 알아보기 위해서 동국대학교 의과대학 정형외과학교실에서 치료했던 54례를 평균 1년 5개월 추시하여 골 유합 기간, 합병증의 발생에 대해서 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 비확공성 금속정 고정술시 골 유합 기간은 확공성 금속정 고정술시와 비교하여 유의한 차이가 없음을 알 수 있었으며, 확공을 하지 않음으로써 발생할 수 있는 jamming이나 가는 직경의 금속정을 선택함으로써 우려되는 금속정의 휨, 부러짐 등의 합병증은 발생하지 않았다. 결론적으로 폐쇄성 경골 간부 골절의 치료에 있어서도 비확공성 골수강내 금속정 고정술은 유용한 방법으로 사료된다.

        Abstract - The load starting current increases step by step so the time constant of each step is so smaller than that of fault current. The first aim of the present paper is to detect a fault with a time constant using least squared method. If a fault occurs on the DC railway system it is important to find a fault location to repair the faulted system as soon as possible. The second aim of the present paper is to locate the position of the fault using Kirchhoff's voltage law.

      • 엔진 냉각계의 방열량 해석에 관한 연구(Ⅰ)

        The higher output levels attained by automotive engines recently been accompanied by an increase in the amount of heat released by the engine. This higher heat release level has caused the thermal load in the engine compartment to rise. As a result, greater emphasis has been placed on thermal analysis of heat radiation from the radiator and of heat release from the engine. Heat release the coolant from the engine is released with heat transfer. It is. thus, the essential element to analysis of heat transfer process in cooling system for an automotive engine. However, most of the research about heat release to the coolant is performed from the standpoint combustion, so this research is done from the standpoint of heat transfer to the cooling system including the engine coolant. This study is performed on the analysis of heat release chracteristics in cooling system for an automotive engine according to the operating and cooling conditions. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The heat release is increased according as coolant temperature is decreased and coolant flowrate is increased. 2. The heat release is increased and heat release per power is decreased according as engine is increased with same engine speed. 3. The heat release is increased by increasing fuel comsumption according as engine speed increased.

      • HPLC 시스템을 이용한 大氣中 多核芳香族 炭化水素의 定量에 關한 硏究

        In this study, an analytical procedure was evaluated for the determination of atmospheric PAH, both in gaseous and particulate phases. The method involves Soxhlet extraction of the filters and Tenax adsorbent, followed by a clean-up stage using a silica mini column prior to analysis by reversephase HPLC with wavelength programmable fluorescence and UV detection. A total of 18 PAH were identified and quantified, all of which have been of environmental concern. In order to validate the methodology and to ensure compatibility of the results, the analytical method used for the determination of PAH was evaluatd with respect to the efficiencies of extraction and clean-up procedure, HPLC separation, and lower limits of detection. In addition, substrate dependency of PAH recovery was also investigated for the two type of filter(glass fiber and PTEF filters) and Tenax adsorbent.

      • 원판형 진행파 초음파 모터의 동특성 해석

        본 연구에서는 압전작동기를 이용한 원판형 진행파 초음파 모터에 대한 동역학적 모델과 성능분석을 수행하였다. 초음파 모터는 거의 대부분이 모터가 사용될 용도에 따라 그 외경의 크기가 미리 정해지므로 이러한 기본 제원이 설정된 후 해석적 모델을 이용한 모터변수 선정 및 동특성 해석에 관한 수치적 예를 보였다. 고정자의 자유 진동해석과 압전작동기에 의해 가진된 강제진동해석, 고정자산의 모델, 고정자와 회전자와의 접촉특성모델들을 통해 고정자의 진동형상, 고유진동수, 고정자산의 배열, 회전속도, 전달토크, 응답특성등 모터의 동특성과 성능특성을 수치적으로 연구하였다. This paper deals with the dynamic analysis and the performance prediction of a piezoelectric annular traveling wave ultrasonic motor. The vibrational characteristics of the stator plate is studied based on the laminated plate theory and the rotor is modeled as a rigid plate. It is also studied some relations between the mechanism of friction, the pressure distribution and other driving factors using Hertzian contact theory. The transient and steady state characteristics of the motor such as natural frequencies mod shapes, speed characteristics, driving torque, etc, are studied and compared with the other research works through the numerical analysis.

        The necessity of evaluating floor serviceability is due to the fact that, with the trend toward using lighter and more flexible construction materials, excess vibration can occur under normal human activity loads, resulting in human discomfort and sometimes, unsafe condition. The complexity of the exact floor vibration computations has prompted investigators to use simplified model such as beam, equivalent SDOF and so on. This paper prefers plate itself for vibration analysis rather than above and compare results with that of other studies and floor vibration criteria.
