Adzuki bean is sensitive to waterlogging stress. The overall study on the waterlogging stress is limited comparing to the study on the drought and any environmental stress. Therefore, the present study was conducted to investigate the changes in growth characteristics and the expression patterns of proteins at the 5-leaf stage periods of adzuki bean. The domestic cultivar, Arari (Miryang No. 8) was used to test the waterlogging stress. In the waterlogging treatment for 3 days, the plant height showed slightly decrease in the treatment at 3 days of waterlogging, but root fresh weight showed significantly changes at 3 days of the waterlogging treatment. Chlorophyll contents showed also significantly different at 3 days of waterlogging treatment compared to control the plants. The waterlogging stress gradually influenced the growth differences between the control and the treatment respectively. More than 350 pro- tein spots were identified on 2-D gels using an image analysis. Moreover, a total of 28 proteins were analyzed using LTQ-FT-ICR MS. Among these 28 proteins, a total of 18 proteins were up-regulated, and 10 proteins were down-regulated under waterlogging treatment. According to biological process, the most of the proteins were found to be involved in carbohydrate metabolism. Regarding the subcellular local- ization, most of the proteins were localized into chloroplasts in 5-leaf stage.

In order to investigate the effect of vanadate on the action potentials of the rabbit S-A node, 3M KC1 glass microelectrodes were introduced and analyzed in the central, transitional and peripheral areas in various strips which were prepared from a whole rabbit S-A node. The followings were results of findings: 1. In cases of vanadate 320μM/ℓ treatment, spontaneous firing rates were decreased to 78.7±6.94, 78.5±35.5 and 64..5±7.42% of the centrals respectively in the central, transitional and peripheral areas. 2. Maximum diastolic potentials(M.D.P.) were slightly increased in all three areas. 3. Overshoot potentials were increased at the central and peripheral areas but decreased at the transitional area in the vanadate-treated group. 4. Maximum depolarization rate(Vmax) were increased in all three areas. 5. Changes of the action potential induced by vanadate were qualitatively similar to those occuring when the calcium concentration of the bathing medium was raised to 4mM. These results may be interpreted as that vanadate increase the rate of Ca^2+ influx into all the cells in the S-A node.

참깨 種子를 25℃의 incubator에서 10日 동안 發芽시키면서, 發芽後 1日, 3日, 5日, 10日로 區分하여 試料를 採取하여 油脂含量과 脂肪酸組成의 變化를 比較 分析한 結果는 참깨 種子 發芽中 油脂含量의 變化는 發芽前 안산깨가 53.8%, 단백깨가 52.5% 發芽後 5日에 18.8%와 13.6%, 10日째에 9.3%와 7.3%로 減少하였다. 그리고 總脂質中의 脂肪酸 組成은 幼植物이 成長함에 따라 palmitic acid, stearic acid 및 linolenic acid는 增加하였으나, linoleic acid는 減少하는 傾向을 나타내었고, 發芽後 5日과 10日의 子葉部와 胚軸部의 脂肪酸 組成은 linolenic acid는 急激히 增加하였으나, palmitic acid, stearic acid 및 oleic acid 減少하는 傾向을 나타내었다. Sesame(Sesamum indicum L.) seeds were germinated at 25℃ for 10 days in order to investigate changes in the oil contents and fatty acid composition of total lipid. The sample for analysis was distinguished with 1st day, 3rd day, 5th day and 10th day after germination. In Ansan and Danbak varieties during the germination period, the oil contents were decreased continuously from 53.8%, 52.5% pre-germination 18.8%, 13.6% on the 5th day, and 9.3%, 7.3% on the 10th day after germination. In fatty acid composition of total lipids, palmitic acid, stearic and linolenic acid were increased, but linoleic acid showed the opposite tendency, according to the growth of seedling. In fatty acid composition of cotyledon and seedling axis, linolenic acid was increased rapidly, but palmitic acid, stearic acid and oleic acid decreasing trends showed during the germination periods.

There are two parts to create the revenue of hotel industry, that is room department and food and beverage department. If we looked the revenue structure of early hotel industry, the revenue of the room department was higher than that of the food and beverage department. But nowadays the revenue of food and beverage operations is increasing more rapidly than that of room operations due to the influence of expanding of F & B operations because of wide spread growth in the hotel industry. The higher quality of food and a hight level of service is causing a shifting trend in the revenue structure of the hotel industry. Resonable food pricing and satisfing guest needs are emphasised to maximise the revenue of food and beverage department. Therefore, this study is aimed at presenting several ways to help managers make food pricing decisions of hotel industry as well as general restaurants I believe that resonable food pricing contribute to maximise the profits of the hotel industry.
數學 및 科學 敎育 授業現場에서의 Portfolio의 適用 : 基礎 硏究(Ⅰ) Preliminary Study(Ⅰ)

The term portfolio has become a popular word in areas of educational research. Unfortunately, the background of educational theories and philosophical perspectives has not been clearly established to support the effectiveness of the use of portfolios in classrooms. In this study, we have reviewed the definitions of portfolio, have analyzed the effectiveness of portfolio in mathematics and science education, and have discussed suggestions and guidelines for teachers how to use portfolios in their classroom. Further, from this study, we proposed that portfolio is grounded in learning process which aligned with Constructivism and individualized instruction. Learning characteristics of students in portfolio classroom include self-refelction upon their own learing, continuous growth in learning, and self-motivated learning. Students also improve academic, personal management, and teamwork skills in the process of learning. Particularly, the use of portfolio in science and mathematics classrooms enhance student's problem solving skill, creativity, reasoning skill, scientific thinking skill, and ability to apply knowledge to real world. It was recommended that teachers and teacher educators need to understand the nature of portfolio in order to effectively implement portfolios in classrooms. Changes in current classroom culture toward portfolio approach would stimulate more effective student learning and improve science and mathematics education in the country.
Screen Printing Method로 제작된 CdS 막의 광전도도

Photoconductive CdS films doped with CI were prepared by screen printing and sintering of CdS paste. The CdS paste consists of CdS, CdCl₂, and propylene glycol. The results of X-ray measurements showed that these samples belong to hexagonal structure, and the lattice constant were a=4.13A, c=6.71A. The spectral response of photoconductivity has two maxima. The one photoconductivity peak was observed at 524nm and the other broad peak at larger wavelength region at 285K. As the temperature decreases, the energy position of the maximum due to band absorption shifts towards shorter wavelength, and give a temperature coefficient of photoconductivity band peak of about ??. The rise and decay time of the photocontivity were 0.8ms and 0.7ms.
