        Shifting the struggle inward: Mainstream debate on digital grassroots feminism in China

        This research suggests that the legitimacy of Chinese feminist public opinion is reflected in mainstream digital grassroots feminism. The authors investigate the use of feminist discourse in the Chinese Internet with the aim of highlighting and focusing current discussions among grassroots feminists in China. This research reveals that mainstream debates revolve around radical and conservative feminism. We propose that there is an emerging radical force in the mainstream debate, which is conceptualized as “new feminist activism.” It tries to separate itself from national and sexual politics, and has evolved from western radical feminism, separatist feminism, and socialist feminism in China. In addition, new feminist activism is labeled as extreme feminism and pseudo-feminism and is not only criticized by conservatives such as liberal feminists and socialist feminists but is also ruled by the state for ideological control. Appropriation of feminist discourses by grassroots feministshaveledtopositionsof different groups splitting, and there is an intense internal fight for power over discourse. In general, digital feminism in China is characterized by a focus on the private sphere, de-political, and indirect confrontation. 本研究表明,中国女性主义舆论的合法性体现在主流数字草根女性主义中。作者调查了中国互联网中女性主义话语的使用情况,目的是突出和聚焦中国草根女性主义者的当前讨论。这项研究显示,主流辩论围绕着激进和保守的女性主义展开。我们提出,在主流辩论中,有一股新兴的激进力量,被概念化为 “新激进女性主义"。它试图与国家政治和性政治分开,并从西方的激进女性主义、分离主义女性主义和中国的社会主义女性主义中发展而来。此外,新激进女性主义被贴上了极端女性主义和伪女性主义的标签,不仅受到自由主义女性主义者和社会主义女性主义者等保守派的批评,而且还受到国家意识形态控制的统治。草根女性主义者对女性主义话语的挪用,导致不同群体的立场发生分裂,内部对话语权的争夺十分激烈。总的来说,中国的数字女性主义的特点是注重私人领域、去政治化以及间接对抗。

        A Medium-Voltage Matrix Converter Topology for Wind Power Conversion with Medium Frequency Transformers

        A new type of topology with medium-frequency-transformer (MFT) isolation for medium voltage wind power generation systems is proposed in this paper. This type of converter is a high density power conversion system, with high performance features suitable for next generation wind power systems in either on-shore or off-shore applications. The proposed topology employs single-phase cascaded multi-level AC-AC converters on the grid side and three phase matrix converters on the generator side, which are interfaced by medium frequency transformers. This avoids DC-Link electrolytic capacitors and/or resonant L-C components in the power flow path thereby improving the power density and system reliability. Several configurations are given to fit different applications. The modulation and control strategy has been detailed. As two important part of the whole system, a novel single phase AC-AC converter topology with its reliable six-step switching technique and a novel symmetrical 11-segment modulation strategy for two stage matrix converter (TSMC) is proposed at the special situation of medium frequency chopping. The validity of the proposed concept has been verified by simulation results and experiment waveforms from a scaled down laboratory prototype.

        Effect of bond slip on the performance of FRP reinforced concrete columns under eccentric loading

        Concrete reinforced with fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) bars (FRP-RC) has attracted a significant amount of research attention in the last three decades. Alimited number of studies, however, have investigated the effect of bond slip on the performance of FRP-RC columns under eccentric loading. Based on previous experimental study, a finite-element model of eccentrically loaded FRP-RC columns was established in this study. The bondslip behavior was modeled by inserting spring elements between FRP bars and concrete. The improved Bertero-Popov-Eligehausen (BPE) bond slip model with the results of existing FRP-RC pullout tests was introduced. The effect of bond slip on the entire compression-bending process of FRP-RC columns was investigated parametrically. The results show that the initial stiffness of bond slip is the most sensitive parameter affecting the compression-bending performance of columns. The peak bond stress and the corresponding peak slip produce a small effect on the maximum loading capacity of columns. The bondslip softening has little effect on the compression-bending performance of columns. The sectional analysis revealed that, as the load eccentricity and the FRP bar diameter increase, the reducing effect of bond slip on the flexural capacity becomes more obvious. With regard to bond slip, the axial-force-bendingmoment (P-M) interaction diagrams of columns with different FRP bar diameters show consistent trends. It can be concluded from this study that for columns reinforced with large diameter FRP bars, the flexural capacity of columns at low axial load levels will be seriously overestimated if the bond slip is not considered.

        Mechanical properties of reinforced-concrete rocking columns based on damage resistance

        The objective of seismic resilience is to maintain or rapidly restore the function of a building after an earthquake. An efficient tilt mechanism at the member level is crucial for the restoration of the main structure function; however, the damage resistance of the members should be the main focus. In this study, through a comparison with the classical Flamant theory of local loading in the elastic half-space, an elastomechanical solution for the axial-stress distribution of a reinforced-concrete (RC) rocking column was derived. Furthermore, assuming that the lateral displacement of the rocking column is determined by the contact surface rotation angle of the column end and bending and shear deformation of the column body, the load–lateral displacement mechanical model of the RC rocking column was established and validated through a comparison with finiteelement simulation results. The axial-compression ratio and column-end strength were analyzed, and the results indicated that on the premise of column damage resistance, simply increasing the axial-compression ratio increases the lateral loading capacity of the column but is ineffective for improving the lateral-displacement capacity. The lateral loading and displacement of the column are significantly improved as the strength of the column end material increases. Therefore, it is feasible to improve the working performance of RC rocking columns via local reinforcement of the column end.

      • A New Semi-supervised Classification Method of Hyperspectral Image based on Combining Renyi Entropy and Multinomial Logistic Regression Algorithm

        The study on classification methods of hyperspectral image is a focal growing area in remote sensing applications because the wide spectral range, providing a very high spectral resolution, allows the detection and classification surfaces and chemical elements of the observed image. Semi-supervised learning method which takes a large number of unlabeled samples and minority labeled samples, improving classification and predicting the accuracy effectively have been a new research direction. In this paper we proposed a new semi-supervised classification method of hyperspectral image based on combining Renyi entropy and multinomial logistic regression algorithm. The multinomial logistic regression was performed to describe a direct relationship between the selected sample as and their category. A lot of unlabeled samples are constantly added to the sample data using Renyi entropy algorithm. The test analysis of image classification in test area showed the advantages of classification method based on combining Renyi entropy and multinomial logistic regression algorithm for hyperspectral remote sensing image.

        Urinary Hypoxia-Inducible Factor-1alpha Levels Are Associated with Histologic Chronicity Changes and Renal Function in Patients with Lupus Nephritis

        Purpose: Tubulointerstitial hypoxia in the kidney is considered a hallmark of injury and a mediator of the progression of tubulointerstitial fibrosis. Hypoxia-inducible factor-1alpha (HIF-1alpha), a master transcription factor in cellular adaptation to hypoxia,regulates a wide variety of genes, some of which are closely associated with tissue fibrosis. The present study set out to characterize urinary HIF-1alpha expressions in patients with lupus nephritis (LN) and to explore whether urinary HIF-1alpha expressions are associated with histologic chronicity changes and renal function. Materials and Methods: Urinary HIF-1alpha levels were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays in 42 patients with LN and in 30 healthy controls. Activity and chronicity indexes as well as tubular HIF-1alpha expressions were analyzed for each specimen. Results: Urinary HIF-1alpha levels were higher in LN patients than in healthy controls (3.977±1.696 vs. 2.153±0.554 ng/mL, p<0.001) and were associated with histologic chronicity indexes (r=0.463, p<0.01) and eGFR (r=-0.324, p<0.05). However, urinary HIF-1alpha levels showed no correlation with histologic activity indexes, anti-dsDNA, ANA, complement 3 and 4 levels, proteinuria, systemic lupus erythematosis disease activity index, and WHO pathological classification (p>0.05). Conclusion: Urinary HIF-1alpha levels were elevated in LN patients and were associated with histologic chronicity changes and renal function, indicating that HIF-1alpha might contribute to histologic chronicity in LN.

        Black and Green Tea Supplements Ameliorate Male Infertility in a Murine Model of Obesity

        Obesity, a chronic metabolic disorder, can affect male reproductive function. As a functional beverage, tea has many biological activities and potential in the treatment of obesity. However, its effects on male reproductive damage induced by obesity are not yet clear. In this study, a murine model of obesity was established by feeding with high-fat diet (HF). A total of 24 male mice were divided into four groups: normal diet (control), HF, HF supplemented with 5% green tea powder (HF+G), and HF supplemented with 5% black tea powder (HF+B). The results showed that the HF + B significantly reduced the mouse body weight gain and testicular coefficient and lowered the serum insulin and leptin levels compared with the HF group. The sperm malformation rate of mice in the HF group had a significant increase when compared with the control group, the HF + B group had a significant decrease compared with the HF group, and no difference from the control group. The HF + G and HF + B significantly increased testosterone levels in serum compared with the HF group. The testosterone production-related gene cytochrome P450 family 11 subfamily a member (CYP11A1) and cytochrome p450 family 17 subfamily a member 1 (CYP17A1) expressions in testis were significantly increased in the HF + G group compared with HF group. In addition, the HF + G and HF + B abolished the effects of HF on superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde, and glutathione levels in testis and antioxidant-related gene expressions of XRCC1 and SOD1. Overall, our findings have provided evidence that black and green tea has a positive effect on reducing reproductive damage in a male murine model of obesity, and that black tea is more effective than green tea.

        Medical mycology has gone through five distinct eras: 1) Fungi causing dermatophytoses, 2) Discovery of rare and fatal systemic mycoses, 3) Realization that fungi cause common and subclinical diseases, 4)AIDS and the era of the compromised host, 5) Broad-spectrum antifungals with few side effects. Chromoblastomycosis caused by a group of dematiaceous fungi is a common disease in china. To date almost 500 cases have been repoted. This article aims to introduce epidemiology, microbiology, clinical features, laboratory diagnosis and treatment of chromoblastomycosis in china.

        Design and build up a new on-line digital UPS based on boost topological structure with a new kind of single-chip computer, STC12C5412AD, realizing sine wave and square wave output, and shifting among 50Hz, 60 Hz, and 400Hz of the supply for adopting into different industrial standards and applications. Such UPS system contains the module of intelligent charging from storage battery and thorough security functions, characterized by the output of un-interruption and high stability, low distortion, free of interference, low cost and multi-function.
