The planktonic diatoms were investigated from six stations in the Naktong River estuary on May 24 in 1994. Total 104 taxa including 3 unidentified taxa were collected and classified into 91 species, 12 varieties and 1 forma belong to 34 genera. Six taxa are new to Korea: Actinocyclus normanii(Grev.) Hust. var. subsalsus(Juhl.-Dennf.) Hust., Cyclotella rossii Ha˚k., Diatoma moniliformis Ku¨tz., Nitzschia capitellata Hust., Thalassiosira weissflogii(Grun.) Fryxell & Hasle, Tropidoneis pusilla(Greg.) Cleve. Aulacoseira ambigua is a dominant species at all stations.
어성초 전탕액이 흰쥐 장기내 카드뮴 축적에 미치는 영향(I)

This study was conducted to investigate the antitoxic component in aqueous extract of Houttuynia cordata $T_{HUNB}$. The results were as follows: Generally, detoxication effects by Houttuynia cordata $T_{HUNB}$ extract increased in proportion to the extract concentrations. When 40mg/kg dosage of Houttuynia cordata $T_{HUNB}$ extract was administered, it showed the highest antitoxic effects in metallothionein induction. After the extract treatment, body weights increased in proportion to the extract concentration. However, after 3 weeks, the body weight decreased insignificantly. From the above results, Houttuynia cordata $T_{HUNB}$ extract increased metallothionein concentration and decreased the toxicity of cadmium in rats. 흰쥐에게 카드뮴 경구투여시, 어성초 전탕액의 경구 투여한 후 카드뮴의 독성에 대한 해독경감효과에 대하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 흰쥐에게 어성초 전탕액의 경구 투여 용량이 증가할수록 카드뮴의 독성에 대한 해독경감효과는 증가하였으며, 신장에서보다 간장에서 해독경감효과가 좋았다. 2. 흰쥐 신장 및 간장의 MT의 농도는 간장에서 보다 신장에서 우수한 결과를 보였으며, 신장에서는 어성초 전탕액의 경구 투여 농도가 10mg/kg 이상이 되면 MT 형성은 어성초 전탕액의 투여 농도가 증가하여도 크게 증가하지는 않았다. 3. 흰쥐의 체중변화는 어성초 전탕액의 경구 투여 용량이 증가할수록 흰쥐의 체중변화도 증가하는 경향을 보였으나, 3주 이후에는 체중의 증가가 적게 나타났다. 이상과 같이 어성초 전탕액의 경구투여를 종합해 보면, 어성초 전탕액의 경구 투여 시켰을 경우 카드뮴의 독성에 대한 해독경감효과가 있는 것으로 판단된다.
환경친화형 페라이트 코어 유도결합 플라즈마 고주파 전력 변환 장치

본 논문은 TFT-LCD(Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display) PECVD(Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition) 장비 공정용 챔버(Chamber) 세정을 위한 새로운 플라즈마 세정방법에 적합한 플라즈마 발생방법과 플라즈마 발생을 위한 고주파 전원장치의 전력회로에 관한 연구이다. 세정에 요구되는 고밀도 플라즈마는 안테나 형태의 기존 ICP(Inductively Coupled Plasma) 방식에 강자성체인 페라이트 코어를 적용하므로 써 $1{\times}10^{11}[EA/cm^3]$이상의 고밀도 플라즈마 발생을 가능하게 하였다. 플라즈마 발생을 위한 400[kHz] 고주파 전력 변환장치의 경우 범용 HB(Half Bridge) 인버터 방식을 적용하여 플라즈마 부하에서도 안정적인 영전압 스위칭 동작을 확인 하였다. 변압기 직렬결합 방식을 사용한 10[kW] 고출력을 통해 $A_r$과 $NF_3$가스 분위기하에서 플라즈마의 밀도와 $NF_3$가스 분해율을 측정하므로서 고주파 전력 변환 장치의 성능을 입증하였다. This paper is a study about a proper method of plasma generation to cleaning method and a high frequency power equipment circuit to generation of plasma that used cleaning of chamber for TFT-LCD PECVD. The high density plasma required for cleaning causes a possibility of high density plasma more than $1{\times}10^{11}[EA/cm^3]$. It apply a ferrite core of ferromagnetic body to a existing ICP form. In case of power transfer equipment on 400[kHz] high frequency to generation of plasma it makes certain a stable switching operation in condition of plasma through using a inverter form for general purpose HB. And it demonstrates the performance of power transfer equipment using methods of measurement which use a transformer of series combination the density of plasma and the rate of dissolution of $NF_3$ in condition of $A_r\;and\;NF_3$.
광천 (光川) ( 경상북도 울진군 ) 의 부착규조의 (附着硅藻) 군집구조

To investigate the community of the epilithic diatoms of the less polluted Kwangch`on river, samples were collected from twelve sampling stations on May 19, August 2, October 28 in 1991 and January 5 in 1992. A total 182 diatom taxa were collected. The general change of dominant species along the sampling stations was that Achnanthes japonica and A. convergens were alternately from st.1 to st.3, A. convergens from st. 4 to 7, A. alteragricillima from st.8 to 11 and Nitzschia frustulum at st.12 of the lowest course. The community could be divided in two groups by cluster analysis : the first group from st.1 to 7 was dominated by A. japonica and A. convergens, the second from st.8 to st.12 characterized by dominance of A. alteragricillima. Current speed was the most important factor to influence the change of the community in this study Dead cell content in the diatom samples examined by cell nucleus staining method was rapidly increased as going to the lower course reaching the maximum value of 65.0 % at st. 12 on May 19, 1991.
금호강의 (琴湖江) 오탁도에 (汚濁度) 따른 부착규조의 (附着珪藻) 정점별 변화

The purpose of this study was to investigate the station variation of epilithic diatoms according to pollution degree from the Kumho River on June 22, 1991. Total 95 taxa were identified in this study and dominant species were Achnanthes minutissima at st. 1, Fragilaria construens var. venter at st. 2, 4, 6, Nitzschia amphibia at st. 3, 5 and Nitzschia palea at st. 7,8,9 and 10. Species diversity indexes varied from 1.119 at st.1 to 0.566 at st. 10, and the proportion of nitrogen heterotrophic Nitzschiae in each station was increased as going to lower course of this river. The variation of DAIpo values was range from 64.55 (st. 1) to 5.55 (st. 10) and the value was rapidly decreased from st.7. And also, the variation of DAIpo was nearly the same tendency with BOD and Electric conductivity in this study.

This study was conducted to investigate the antitoxic components in the water extract of the roots of Trichosanthes kirilowii (Cucurbitaceae). The results were as follows: Generally, detoxication effects by the water extract of T. kirilowii increased in proportion to the concentrations. Experimental animals were treated with cadmium and T. kirilowii water extract by oral administration. When 40 mg/kg dosage of T. kirilowii extract was administrated it showed the highest antitoxic effects in metallothionein induction. After the water extract treatment, body weights did not increase in proportion to the extract concentrations. These results suggest that T. kirilowii extract increased metallothionein concentration and decreased the toxicity of cadmium in rats. In vitro the antitoxic activity of water extract of T. kirilowii on NIH 3T3 fibroblasts was evaluated by the MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazolium bromide) and SRB (sulforhodamine B protein) assays. The light microscopic study was carried out to observe morphological changes of the treated cells. These results were obtained as follows; The concentration of $10^{-2}\;mg/ml$ of T. kirilowii extract was shown significant antitoxic activity. The number of NIH 3T3 fibroblasts were increased and tend to regenerate. These results suggest that T. kirilowii extract retains a potential antitoxic activity.
