        〈Objective〉 This study were carried out to study to assess the relationship between job characteristics, general characteristics, health behaviors, and psychosocial distress and suggested the preventive oriental medicine approaches in occupational health area. 〈Methods〉 We measured job characteristics(job demand, job control, jop insecurity) by The Karasek's Job Content Questionnaire, health behaviors(smoking, drinking, exercise, coffee), general characteristics at work by a self-administered questionnaire. Psycho social distress was measured by PWI(Psychosocial Well-being Index), a 18-item self- administered instrument. 370 data for research were collected through the process of oriental health examination with questionnaire in workplace. Statistical analysis was done by t test, oneway ANOVA, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis with SPSSWIN (version 10.0) 〈Results〉 Among the 152 respondents, the prevalence of high job strain was 27%(41 persons). The Odds ratio of high job strain was 3.11(95 2.12~4.11), and those of passive group and active group were 2.01(95 0.83~2.76) and 1.80(95 0.83~2.76), respectively. Our results supported the association between psychosocial distress and job strain. 〈Conclusion〉 The odds ratio of high strain isolated group(high strain group+low social support) was 3.59(95 2.05 5.13), but the odds ratio of high strain collective group was 1.32(95 0.23 2.41). Social support at work was modifing factor of the association between psycho social distress and job strain. Therefore we reviewed the evidence that economic depression was associated with psycho social distress in this study, and that the strength of the social support was important in maintain health.

      • 콘크리트 중력댐의 한계균열길이와 복합균열의 거동에 관한 연구

        If cracks are occurred in the upstream side of the concrete gravity dam. judgement for the dam safety is of major interest, and the critical crack length can br used as one of parameters for this purpose. So, the critical crack lengths for the horizontal and slant cracks occurred in the upstream side of the dam were studied in detail here. When cracks are occurred in the dam, it is more genral that not a single crack but multiple cracks can be happened dimultaneously. So, mutal effect of such cracks were investigated when number, elevations, and directions of cracks were changed respectively. From this sudy, it could be seen that the shortest critical crack lengths are obtained between the angle 0 and -22.5 degree. And it could be known that the effective stress intensity factors at each crack tips were decreased due to the effect of the stress redistribution of the multiple cracks.

      • Adipic dihydrazide 말단기 도입에 따른 수분산성 폴리우레탄프리폴리머의 제조와물성

        Polyurethane dispersions(PUD) were prepared from IPDI, PHMCD, DMPA as anionic site, and ADH as end-capping.This prepolymers were dispersed in the aqueous phase by neutralization emulsification. The polyurethane dispersions were electrostatically stabilized with carboxyl group incorporated into their particles, which were neutralized by TEA(triethylamine).The lhysical properties of aqueous PU prepolymer were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), gel permeation chromatography (GPC), dynamic light scattering (DLS), and Rheometer.This procedure contains the effect of molecular weight on the particle size of PUD and on the viscosity were investigated.As the molecular weight of PUDs increascd the particle size and viscosity is not changed.

      • 고지방 식이 및 참당귀의 엑기스 투여가 흰쥐 관상동맥벽의 탄력섬유에 미치는 형태학적 연구

        Observation of the elastic fibers of the coronary artery walls in adults rats has been carried out by administering a high fat diet for 100 days and Angelica gigas Nakai extract for 20 days. The results obtained are summarized as follows : 1. The development of the elastic fibers in the coronary artery walls was much poorer in the high fat diet group than in the standard diet group. 2. The development of the internal elastic membrane in the tunica intima was rich in all experimental groups. 3. Scattered irregular fibers and fine and cut elastic fibers were observe in the media of all groups. 4. External elastic membranes and adventitia were not observed in any of the groups. 5. Highest development of internal elastic membranes was observed in the A, B-IV and C-IV, groups which were standard diet and Angelica gigas Nakai extract administration groups. 6. Poor development of internal elastic membranes was observed in groups B-III and C-II. 7. There was high development of the internal elastic membranes in groups fed the Angelica gigas Nakai extract.

      • Selenium 부족 식이가 흰쥐 간장에 미치는 영향

        Se 부족에 의하여 랫트의 체중과 사료 섭취량은 감소되었으며 혈중 LDH, GOT와 간장조직의 glutathion 농도는 정상보다 증가되었다. Se 부족군의 조직학적 소견은 간세포의 공포화 변성, 간조직의 PAS 반응 저하, LDH 활성화 감소 및 ACP 활성의 증가를 나타내었으며, rER의 분절화 현상 및 감소와 mitochondria의 종창 등이 관찰되었다. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of Se-deficient diet on the weight gain, chemical changes in plasma and microstructural change of liver in rat. Rats were divided into 2 diet groups (Se-deficient diet) and control diet and sacrificed after 21days of feeding. Levees of LDB, GOT, GPT of Plasma arid glutathione of liver were determined and light microscopic and electron microscopic observation of ret liver were performed. Total weight gaits (P<0.05) and feed efficiency radio (P<0.001) were significantly lower in Se-deficient group than in control group, whereas the levels of plasma LDH (P<0.001) and GOT (P<0.05) were increased significantly in Se-deficient group. Furthermore, the levels of total glutathione (P<0.01) and reduced glutathione (P<0.001) showed significant increase in Se-deficient group. Light microscopic observations showed that cytoplasmic blooning degeneration and pyknosis of nuclei were often found around portal canal of Se-deficient group by H-E straining. PAS staining also showed weakly positive reaction around central area, whereas PAS negative reacting cells were often observed around portal canal of Se-deficient group. Histochemical staining skewed that cytochrome oxidase activity were very active in both groups, whereas LDH activity was significantly decreased arid ACPase activity was significantly increased in Se-deficient group. Electron microscopic observation showed that the number of rER were decreased and the blooning degeneration of rEr was often observed in Se-deficient group. Mitochondria with mayeline figure arid wooly density were also observed in Se-deficient group. Light microscopic observations showed that cytoplasmic blooming degeneration and pyknosis of nuclei were often found around poral canal of Se-deficient group by H-E staning. PAS staining also showed weakly positive reaction around central area, whereas PAS negative reacting cells were often observed around portal canal of Se-deficient group. Histochemical staining showed that sytochrome oxidase activity were very active in both groups, whereas LDH activity was significantly decreased and ACPase acclivity was significantly increased in Se-deficient group. Electron microscopic observation stewed that the number of rER were decreased and the blooning degeneration of rER was often observed in Se-deficient group. Mitochondria with myeline figure and wooly density were also observed in Se-deficient group.

      • 光電 方法에 의한 MOS구조의 산화층내의 電荷分布 연구

        Charge trapping in the insulator of a metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) structure strongly influences photocurrents resulting from electron photoinjection from gate into this insulator. These electric characteristics are investigated by Przewlocki method for determination of trapped charge distribution in the dielectric of a MOS structure. Silicon dioxide films were grown thermally in a dry oxygen ambient at 1000℃ to a thickness of 2000Å on (100) 6-9Ωcm p-type Si Wafers. As a result, it is found that the negative charge distribution is an exponential profile of decay lengthλ=9.907×10??cm and trapped charge density N。=3.912×10??cm-₃in the dielectric of this MOS structure.

        전산유체 기법을 이용한 DAF 부상조에서의 수리 특성 고찰

        Dissolved air flotation is a solid-liquid separation process that uses fine rising bubbles to remove particles in water. DAF is found most effective in treating algae and lower density flocs that are hard to remove in sedimentation process. Some researcher reports the results of an experimental study which examined the flow within the flotation zone of a DAF tank (ONeill at al., 1997). I would be concluded that, in general, the flow within flotation zone is robust and that differences in the performance of individual DAF tanks must be the result of processes occurring within the contact zones of these tank, not as the result of flotation processes. In this research, the authors thought that the efficiency of the DAF process is strongly related to bubble size. It means bubble rising velocity at the air injection nozzle is most important factor of DAF process. However, bubble movement in DAF tank is somewhat complicate, so it is hard to make up conceptual model through simple mass balance as other researchers did (Leppinen at. al., 2000). For the modeling of turbulent 2-phase flow in the tank, the standard k-ε model was used in CFD code because it is widely accepted and the coefficients for the model are well established. This model uses the eddy-viscosity hypothesis for the turbulence. As the result of this study, the authors concluded that bubble size and its rising velocity is very important factor of DAF process and the recycle ratio must be also consider for the flotation zone parameter. Also, For the improved model, relation between turbulent intensity and bubble-particle attachment must be studied.

        Observation of the elastic fibers of the superior Cerebellar artery walls in adults rats has been carried out by administering a high fat diet for 45days and Peucedani Japonici Radix extract Administration. The results obtained are summarized as follows ; 1. The development of the elastic fibers in the superior cerebellar artery walls was much poor in the high fat diet group than in the other Diet groups. 2. The development of the elastic fibers in the tunica media was rich in all experimental groups. But scattered irregular fibers and fine and cut elastic fibers were obesrved in the tunica media of all groups. 3. External elastic membranes and adventitia were not observed in any of the aroups. 4. Highest development of elastic fibers was observed in the groups Ⅰ>IV>Normal>III>II>V> which were standard diet and Peucedani japonici Radix extract administration groups. 5 There was high development of the elastic fibers in groups fed the Peucedani japonici Radix extract.
