20세기에 접어들어 급속한 생명과학의 발달로 1978년 7월 25일 세계 최초의 시험관 아기출산이 성공하였다. 현재 체외수정으로 인한 출생이 증가되고 있는 추세이며, 이에 따라 종교적, 윤리적, 의학적, 법적인 면에서 많은 문제점들을 일으키고 있다. 특히 법적 분야에서는 인간의 존엄성 등 기본권의 주체가 될 수 있는지, 배아가 낙태죄의 객체가 될 수 있는지 등 활발히 논의가 진행되고 있으며, 특별법의 제정 등 입법적 보완도 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 체외 수정상태에서 부(父)가 사망하였을 경우에, 이 수정란을 태아로 보아서 상속권을 인정할 것인가와 같은 문제해결을 위한 체외배아의 민사법적 지위에 관하여 는 아직 법령이 존재하지 아니하고 학설의 대립하여 명확한 해법을 제시하고 못하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 체외배아에 대한 개념정의를 바탕으로 체외배아에 대한 외 국의 법령과 논의 상황을 검토한 다음 여기서 도출된 관점을 토대로 해서 국내법령의 실태와 해석론적으로 법적 한계를 검토하고 민법의 체계에서 체외 배아에 대한 지위를 분석하고 마지막으로 민사법적 지위에 대한 전망과 과제를 제시하고 있다. 인공수정이 일반화되고 있는 시점에서 체외배아의 법적 지위는 인간생명의 시작이 언제인지 여부와 관련하여 실존하는 체외배아의 보호 필요성이 있기 때문에 새롭게 논의되어야 할 필요성이 있다. In twenties, due to rapid development of bio-technology, the world`s first "test tube baby" was born through in vitro fertilization in July 25th, 1978. Currently, as the birth through in vitro fertilization has been increased, there are many problems in aspects of religious, ethical, medical, and legal terms. In terms of legal aspects, there have been being discussed whether an embryo can be subject of natural right such as human dignity or be a legal victim of aborticide or feticide. In addition, legislative complimentary has been conducted by enacting special laws. However, there is not a single law or act in terms of legal status of in vitro fertilization embryo. That is a problem in terms of civil law since there are many academic arguments which cannot help deciding whether an embryo in vitro fertilization would be able to have a right of inheritance if his or her father is dead. I, in this thesis (academic paper), will review foreign laws and academic arguments about in vitro fertilization embryo based on the concept of that. Then, I. in this thesis, will research real conditions of Korean laws and acts about in vitro fertilization embryo and review the limit of those laws hermeneutically. Moreover, I, in this thesis, will analyse the legal status of in vitro fertilization embryo in Korean civil law system, and then I will propose the prospect of the legal status of in vitro fertilization embryo and the problem to be solved about that. In the point that artifical fertilizations are in general, the legal status of in vitro fertilization embryo is needed to be discussed since that is related to when people should protect in vitro fertilization embryo in terms of the beginning of the human being.
Analysis of Removal Torque of Injection Molded Zirconia Implants; An Experimental Study on Beagles.

<P>This study compared the removal torque between injection molded zirconia implants and titanium implants with resorbable blast media (RBM) surfaces in beagle humeri. Fifteen screw-shaped implants were classified into 3 groups; titanium implant with RBM surface (Group RT), injection molded zirconia implant (Group Zr) and injection molded zirconia implant with sand-blasted surface (Group ZrS). Implants were inserted into beagle humeri. After 12 weeks, removal torque values were measured. The Zr group has a slightly higher removal torque value than the RT and ZrS groups but there were no significant differences among groups. Zirconia implants shows a similar removal torque to RBM titanium implants. This in vivo study showed injection molded zirconia implants could be an alternative to RBM titanium implants in terms of removal torque.</P>
증례논문에 나타난 사상체질진단의 특징 및 연구동향에 대한 연구

1. Objectives : We analyzed the case reports published by the journal of Sasang Constitutional Medicine, to study Sasang Constitution diagnosis and characteristic of clinical practice. 2. Methods : It has been examined 138 case reports of Sasang Constitution society published from 1994 to 2008. We analyzed. patient's number, publication year, distribution of Sasang Constitution, title's characteristics and bases of constitution diagnosis. 3. Results and conclusions : 1) In the analysis of patient's number, 1 case report was almost part of the case reports, and the case reports ware many published after 2001. 2) In the analysis distribution of Sasang Constitution, Soyangin was the most Sasang Constitution, and Tae-umin was the next one and Soeumin, Taeyangin followed them. 3) In the analysis of the journal's title, Sasang Constitution, disease and symptom of Sasang Constitution were more important than prescription recently. 4) In the analysis of the journal's purpose, unique disease and response of treatment were almost part of the case reports. 5) In the analysis of diagnosis bases, subjective bases were more important than objective bases and Sasang Constitutional drug response. therefore we should do researches in objective bases and drug response in the future.

1. Objective: This study is about a Soyangin patient with vertigo after subarachnoid hemorrhage. In this study, we report the effects of Sasang constitutional treatment to this patient. 2. Methods: This patient was treated by Soyangin's constitutional medications and acupunture according to the result of Sasang constitutional diagnosis. 3. Results and Conclusions: This patient's chief complaints were vertigo and gait disturbance. By using Yangkyuksanhwa-tang mainly, she showed positive response about her symptom. This study shows that Yangkyuksanhwa-tang has effect to vertigo in Soyangin.
Fabrication of a bionic superhydrophobic metal surface by sulfur-induced morphological development

<P>We describe the fabrication of lotus leaf-like superhydrophobic metal surfaces by using the simple electrochemical reaction of Cu or Cu–Sn alloy plated on steel sheets with sulfur gas, and subsequent perfluorosilane treatment. The microstructure of these surfaces was obtained through the nonelectric chemical plating of the copper onto the steel sheets, and the nanotexturing of the surfaces was achieved <I>via</I> an electrochemical reaction of copper in a sulfur-containing environment at 150 °C, resulting in the formation of a copper sulfide nanostructure on the microstructure. The chemical composition of this metal surface was confirmed using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The water contact angles of the bionic metal surfaces were found to be over 160°, and this surface exhibits a low contact angle hysteresis. To our knowledge, this is the first time this approach has been used with a simple chemical reaction to fabricate an artificial superhydrophobic metal surface.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>Bionic superhydrophobic metal surfaces have been created by plating a steel surface with Cu or Cu–Sn alloy, followed by sulfur gas treatment, and the hydrophobization of the surface. <IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=b504850h'> </P>
