      • 부안 유천리 도자기의 과학적 분석

        전북 부안 유천리 청자요지에서 수습된 청자편 11점의 태토 및 유약에 대하여 화학조성을 분석하고, 기 발표되어진 문헌의 청자데이터들을 종합하여, 이와 비교함으로써 본 시료의 도자특성과 및 산지에 대한 정보를 유추하였다. 태토의 주요산화물 분석에는 XRF를 이용하였으며, 유약의 주요산화물분석에는 EPMA를 이용하였다. 태토 중 17개 미량성분의 분석에는 ICP-MS를 이용하였고, 자료의 비교분석에는 Seger식에 의한 방법과 주성분분석법에 의한 통계처리방법을 병행하였다. 태토의 주요산화물에 대한 비교분석결과 유천리 청자는 Seger 식과 주성분분석에서 RO_(2)와 RO+R_(2)O가 6~8 및 0.3~0.38 mole로, 또 높은 SiO_(2)함량과 낮은 Na_(2)O, CaO의 함량으로 전북지역의 데이터 범위에 분포함을 볼 수 있었다. 유약의 주요산화물에 대한 비교분석결과에서는 Seger식과 주성분분석에서 모두 명확한 지역구분이 나타나지 않았으며, 따라서 유천리 청자 역시 명확한 지역적 특성을 구분하기 어려웠다. 태토중 미량성분의 주성분분석에 의한 통계처리결과 광주 충효동 도편들을 제외하고는 뚜렷한 지역간의 구분을 관찰하기 어려웠다. The characterization of chemical properties and analogy of manufactured origin for the eleven celadon sherds collected in Yuchunri, Buan were performed by analyzing their body and glaze compositions and compared with previous data reported. The chemical compositions of the body and glaze were determined by XRF and EPMA, respectively. The trace elements of the body were also determined by ICP-MS. The Seger analysis and PCA were used to compare the major compositions of body and glaze of the potteries we found with previous data. The Celadon sherds from Yuchunri are distributed in a range of Chonnam potteries considering RO_(2) and RO+R_(2)O are 6~ 8 and 0.3 ~O.38mole, respectively and also high in SiO_(2) and low in Na_(2)O and CaO concentrations in the comparison between the potteries for the major compositions of the body. Differences of the chemical characteristics of those potteries between the provinces were not clear in comparison of the glaze compositions and trace element of the body.

        인천 인현동 호프집 화재 피해자 분석

        Purpose : This study was conducted to develop field triage, transportation, distribution, and prehospital care at a fire disaster by analyzing the victims of the fore that broke out at a bar in Incheon. Method : We analyzed the cases of the victims of a fire in Incheon in Oct. 1999. We determined the primary care hospital, the arrival time, the burn size, the outcome, and the injury type from the medical records, the concerned organ records, and interviews with concerned persons. Result : The total number of victims was 137: 56 prehospital deaths, 1 hospital death, and 80 survivals. The Pearson correlation coefficient between the burn size and the severity was -0.175. There were 121(89.6%) cases of inhalation injury, 59 (43.7%) cases of flame burns, 66 (48.9%) cases of hypoxic brain damage, and 16 (11.9%) cases involving other types of injury. Conclusion : The causes of death of the fire victims were inhalation injury and hypoxic brain damage due to CO poisoning and other toxic inhalants. We propose the use of a simple triage and rapid treatment(START) system and a reassessment the delayed category in fire disasters.

      • Enflurane-N₂O-O₂마취에서 혈중 Catecholamine 농도 변화

        The reaction to stress may be detrimental to the surgical patient. The transient in creases in blood pressure and heart rate following induction of general anesthesia with direct laryngoscopy and tracheal intubation are common. These stress responses are greatly exaggerated in patients with cardiovascular and intracranial disease and can lead to cardiac arrhythmia or cerebral hemorrhage. The present study was done to evaluate the plasma catecholamine concentration and hemodynamic change to stress response in anesthesia. The subjects were 20 ASA class I surgical patients scheduled for elective surgery, aged from 20 to 50 years, who had no specific past medical diseases and no recent medications. Patients were given thiopental sodium 5mg/kg and succinylcholine Img/kg for induction and intubation. Afber intubation, anesthesia was maintained with 50% NzO, 50% Oz and 1.5-2.0vol% enflurane. The changes in the values of blood pressure, heart rate, Plasma norepinephrine and epinephrine concentration were measured at preinduction, immediately after intubation, skin incision and 30 minutes after skin incision. The mean values of systolic blood pressure were 115±8, 151±15, 114±11, 115±9(mmHg), diastolic blood pressure 76±8, 93±11. 75±8 73±6(mmHg). heart rate 79±8, 112±15, 93±13, 87±11(beat/min), plasma norepinephrine concentration 230.7±125.1. 293.6±179.1, 236.5±123.4, 246.8±140.5(pg/㎗), epinephhne 98.4±48.5, 118.1±60.1. 95.1±53.2, 98.0±47.6(pg/㎗). respectively It was concluded that the increased stress response to tracheal intubation was present in all patients but enflurane-N₂O-O₂ anesthesia was effective to reduce the stress response by surgical stimulation.

        하지수술시 사용한 척추경막외 병용마취의 효과

        Background: Spinal anesthesia is a simple technique requiring a small dose of local anesthetic to provide intense and reliable block. And epidural anesthesia with the catheter technique gives a better control of the level of analgesia and a good postoperative pain relief using opioids, local anestheties or both. Therefore, the combined spinal epidural (CSE) anesthesia was evaluated to provide rapid onse of action, good muscle relaxation, prolonged duration of the block and postoperative pain relief. Methods: All patients were placed in a lateral position. Using a midline approach at L interspace, a 18G Tuohy needle was introduced into the epidural space. A 27G Whitacre spinal needle was passed through the Tuohy needle until free flow cerebrospinal fluid, and than 0.5% heavy bupivacaine 3ml(15mg) was injected. The spinal needle was withdrawn and the epidural catheter was inserted. The dermatome level and time of sensory block was evaluated using loss of sensation of pinprick test every 1 minute for 30 minutes, until the maximum sensory block was established. Motor block was assessed using the Bromage scale. And postoperatively we interviewed the patients for opinioes on the blockade and complication. Results: The mean values of maximum sensory block level were T8 (T8.0±1.7 dermatome) and at that time was 8min 30sec (8.5±1.2min). The motor blockade of lower extremity was Bromage 3 in all patients. Prolonged anesthesia over 2 hours of operation was accomplished by adding 0.5% bupivacaine through epidural catheter. Subjective evaluation by the patients about postoperative pain control was excellent. Conclusions: CSE anesthesia appears to combine the reliabiIity and rapid onset of spinal block, and the ability to extend the block and postoperative analgesia by using the epidural catheter while minimizing their drawbacks.

        In this study, the propagation behavior of fatigue crack effected hole defects was investigated under<br/> mixed-mode I+II loading. To create mixed-mode stress field at crack tip, the compact tension shear (CTS)<br/> specimen and loading device were used in this tests. The propagation experiments of fatigue crack were<br/> performed by changing of the loading application angle(Ø) and the distance(L) estimated from pre-crack tip<br/> to hole center located side by side by side with a pre-crack. As L changes, the variation for propagation aspect<br/> of fatigue crack, fatigue life and crack propagation rate were examined under mixed-mode loading. Under<br/> mixed-mode loading, the propagation rate of fatigue crack increased while the propagation direction changed<br/> dramatically because of the interference of hole defects.

        Over the last 10 years, about 200 chemical accidents have occurred. The frequency of chemical leak accidents has particularly increased since the 2012 accident of hydrogen fluoride gas leakage. When a chemical accident happens, the released gas-phase substances are more likely diffused into the air, which subsequently might cause serious damage to the health of local residents and the environment. To make a quick response to such a chemical accident, it is significantly important to promptly analyze the accident-causing substances. In this study, a cross analysis was performed using PTR-TOF-MS and GC-MS to identify accident-inducing substances generated in the reaction process with brominated epoxy resin and acrylic acid. As a result of the two analyses, acrylic acid was not found to induce a chemical accident, whereas aromatic hydrocarbons and 2-bromophenol were both identified as accident-causing substances. Given that rapid analysis is essential for a prompt response to chemical accidents, the cross analysis using two or more techniques may be useful to quickly identify accident-causing substances.
