        들깨 잎 추출물의 Nitric Oxide Synthase 저해활성 및Peroxynitrite 소거활성

        Activated microglia by neuronal injury or inflammatory stimulation overproduce nitric oxide (NO) by inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) such as superoxide anion, resulting in neurodegenerative diseases. The toxic peroxynitrite (ONOO−), the reaction product of NO and superoxide anion further contributes to oxidative neurotoxicity. We tried to evaluate the effects of two kinds of varieties of Perilla frutescens var. japonica Hara on the NO production in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-activated microglia. The perilla cultivars of Namcheondeulkkae (NC) and Boradeulkkae (BR) were developed by pure line from the local variety and by a cross between ‘deulkkae’ and ‘chajogi’, respectively. Spirit, hexane, chloroform and butanol fractions of the leaves of NC and BR inhibited the production of NO in LPS-activated microglia. The fractions of BR showed stronger activity than NC and the spirit extracts was the most potent in both cultivars. The solvent fractions of BR suppressed the expression of protein and mRNA of iNOS in LPS-activated microglial cells. Moreover, the extracts of NC and BR showed the activity of peroxynitrite scavenging in cell free bioassay system. These results imply that Namcheondeulkkae and Boradeulkkae might have neuroprotective activity through the inhibition of NO production by activated microglial cells and peroxynitrite scavenging activity.

        뇌동맥류성 지주막하 출혈에 대한 뇌전산화단층촬영의 의의

        The authors analysed 74 cases of ruptured aneurysms confirmed by CT, angiography and surgery during the period from September 1982 to August 19 84 at Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital for the study of the relationship between the amount of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) detected by CT and the preoperative clinical grade (Hunt & Hess), the later development of cerebral vasospasm, ischemic neurologic deficit(IND) and the postoperative prognosis. We also attempted to investigate the relationship beween the low density in the hypothalamus and/or midbrain on CT and the preoperative clinical grade and the angiographic vasospasm. There was no definite difference in age and sex distribution according to the severity of SAH on CT except in predominantly female cases of severe SAH (CT grade Ⅲ). 75% of the cases with the abscence of SAH(CT grade Ⅰ) were preoperatively clinical grade Ⅰ or Ⅱ. However, 76% of the severe SAH cases (CT grade Ⅲ) showed preoperatively clinical grade Ⅲ, Ⅳ or Ⅴ. In cases with no angiographic vasospasm (Ag0), 70% were shown to be clinical grade Ⅰ or Ⅱ. But in cases of severe vasospasm seen by angiography(Ag3), 80% were clinical grade Ⅲ or Ⅳ. 17% of the cases that showed an abscence of angiographic vasospasm (Ag0) showed a low density in the hypothalamus and/or midbrain on CT as did 48% of the cases with mild angiographic vasospasm(Ag1), 75% with moderate angiographic vasospasm(Ag2) and 100% of the cases with severe angiographic vasospasm(Ag3). It was noticed on the CT in cases of clinical grade Ⅰ and Ⅱ, there was a 14% and 24% low density in the hypothalamus and/or midbrain respectively. But in the cases of clinical grade Ⅲ and Ⅳ, it was noticed that there was a 65% and 100% low density in hypothalamus and/or midbrain respectively. Ischemic neurological deficit (IND) devloped in 9% of the cases having an abscence of SAH(CT gradeⅠ) on CT and in 48% of the cases of severe SAH(CT grade Ⅲ) on CT during the care of the patients. 100% of the cases showed good postoperative reults in patients who had an abscence of or thin SAH(CT grade Ⅰ or Ⅱ) on CT and only 50% of the cases who had severe SAH(CT grade Ⅲ) obtained good postoperative results. The authors found a correlation between the amount of SAH and the preoperative clinical grade, the development of angiographic cerebral vasospasm, IND and the postoperative prognosis. The low density in the hypothalamus and/or midbrain on CT also has a relationship with the preoperative clinical grade and the development of angiographic vasospsm. We suggest that the severity of SAH on CT and the low density in the hypothalamus and/or midbrain may be of great value in the prediction of cerebral vasospasm and treatment of aneurysmal patients.

        A Study on Transformation of Rural Community in Cambodia

        Cambodia's rural development project aims to develope a comprehensive model that contributes to the elimination of poverty based on the Saemaul Undong(SMU) concept. In addition, this study essentially considers the role of women in Cambodia’s rural development project. The initial step is to promote and to spread the Saemaul Undong(SMU) throughout Cambodia. The second step is to enhance the capacity of the civil servants and villagers for the self-improvement of Cambodia. The third step is to raise the income of household through increasing production and to build consciousness of the community. Based on the project, this study analyzes the current status of rural women and factors affecting to their participation in socio - economic activities. A survey is conducted to villagers and women in individual village. The results show that the pilot project focuses on bottom - up business promotion strategy. Differential support based on circumstances of each village bring out positive effects of village to raise the ownership of residents. From the self-evaluation of the project, it reports high scores in relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability. However, gender impact and environment impact are relatively weak. From Cambodia’s rural development project, this study suggests the appropriate and fitted model for Cambodian surroundings and the political supports to encourage the social and economic participation of rural women.

        AHP기법을 이용한 이종 열차운행시스템의 중요 요인 평가에 관한 연구

        This paper presents an analysis method that considers the weights of many characteristics of a different operating system : Seoul Subway Line4, Korail Gwacheon-Line and Ansan-Line with a through(common) route but different management agency, different signaling system, different operating system, etc. To derive the relative importance between operating systems of urban and metropolitan railway, this research is used the AHP method. This method sets up 25 lower-level evaluation factors separated from the following 5 top-level factors: train driving, signaling system, operating system or agency, facilities related driving and related regulations. It then evaluates the different railway operating system by analyzing the weights and the priorities. The result of 5 top-level factors revealed that the weight order is signaling system, train driving, related regulations, operating system or agency and facilities related driving. The result of 25 lower-level factors revealed that the priority order is ATC signal, the speed limit of curve, starting route clear light, etc. Finally, practical proposals and implications are suggested. For example, on time train operation, signaling system's upgrade, express train, AC/DC crossing section's fail safe, in-depth education & excercise should be considered as soon as possible. Also TGIS, ICT, RFID, and CBTC technology will be adopted actively on them.

      • Loop유도경로를 지닌 무인 운반차 시스템에서의 Parking 위치 결정방법

        본 논문에서는 루프(loop)유도경로를 가진 AGV시스템에서 단일(single) AGV의 대기위치(parking position)를 결정하는 數理模型을 제시하였으며, 제시된 모형의 목적함수는 그 AGV가 parking position에서부터 출발하여 作業位置(pickup point)에 도착하기까지의 최대운영시간을 최소화하는 것으로 하였다. 따라서, parking position의 결정문제를 數理模型化하고 최적해를 구하기 위한 발견적 탐색 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 그에 따른 예제를 數理模型과 탐색알고리즘을 적용하여 最適解를 算出해 보았다.

        마이크로스트립 패치 안테나 설계에서 타구치 직교배열표의 유용성 분석

        타구치 직교배열표를 활용하여 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나 설계를 효율적으로 수행 가능한지를 분석하였다. 비교 및 분석을 위하여 U-슬롯 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나에서 U-슬롯의 모양과 변형된 급전부의 요소를 파라미터로정했다. 해당 파라미터들의 스윕을 통해 도출된 모든 시뮬레이션의 결과와 타구치의 직교배열표를 이용하여 도출된 축소시뮬레이션 결과를 비교분석하였다. 파라미터 스윕을 이용하여 진행된 19,683회의 시뮬레이션을 타구치의 직교배열표를 이용한 27번의 시뮬레이션으로 대폭 축소하였으며, 파라미터 스윕과 직교배열표를 이용한 시뮬레이션의 평균 10dB 대역폭은 3.7%의 오차를 가진다. 따라서, 시뮬레이션 횟수를 줄이고도 효율적으로 안테나 파라미터 특성을 파악할 수있음을 확인했다. This paper is analysis on usefulness of Microstrip patch antenna design using Taguchi's Orthogonal array. For comparison, the shape of U-slot and Feed line elements are decided as a parameter in Microstrip patch antenna. And all the possible result of 19,683 times simulation using parameter sweep and the result of Taguchi's orthogonal arrays are compared. The simulation of Parameter sweep and Orthogonal arrays has 3.7% error on 10dB Bandwidth. Finally, It is identified that 19,683 times parameter sweep simulation can be reduced to 27 times with Taguchi's orthogonal arrays but still it represents antenna parameter characters well.

        Development of an Automatic Marking System for Fabric Inspection Machine

        In this study, an automatic marking system for fabric inspection machines was developed. The main objectives of the study were to promote intelligence and automation for the inspection process, as well as to increase textile industrial productivity. Generally, when a worker manually inspects and marks a fabric, human error and reduced efficiency are unavoidable. To overcome these problems, we developed an automatic marking system that uses robots. This system incorporates a vision camera to automatically recognize defects, and an optical fiber sensor to detect the side of the fabric. To verify the performance, the control system sends a command directly to the robot to mark the fabric. Finally, the actual production confirmed that the proposed system could perform the desired motion.
