        Development and Evaluation of Fixation Equipment for Transporting Unit Modules

        The unit modular construction system is a building technique in which unit modules are manufactured at a factory and then assembled at the construction site. It has many benefits, including reduction of the construction period and improvement in quality. For this reason, it is utilized for various purposes in Japan and England. While it has been introduced in Korea, there have been few Korean studies conducted on the unit modular system. In particular, little research has been done on the method of safely fixating the unit modules to a truck. Therefore, this study reviewed the fixation methods of unit modules for transport, analyzed the problems, and designed a fixation device for unit modules. In addition, a device for the fixation of unit modules to a truck was developed, and a structural simulation was implemented for a safety test by considering the maximum stress generated during the transport of the unit modules fixed on a truck. When the device for the fixation of unit modules is manufactured based on the results of the structural simulation done in this study, it is expected to aid the development of a more practical fixation device for unit modules.

      • 세탁기에서 열전소자를 이용한 VOCs 회수에 관한 연구

        Recently, it was under an obligation to install the VOCs recycling unit in the cleaners and the gas station to prevent from discharging VOCs emitted from the cleaners and the gas station. The objectives of this study was to investigate the VOCs recycling unit used thermoelectric module to recycle the organic solvent from the cleaners and after washing. The traditional way was the use of the VOCs recycling unit with the compressor. But the recycling unit has many weak points ; noise, size, danger of fire, additional pollution and so on. In order to improve these weak points, it was developed the new VOCs recycling unit using the thermoelectric module through this study. The cooling block with 32 thermoelectric module was applied to cool the hot VOCs where comes to occur from the dryer in high temperature condition. Also a water-cooled equipment was used to remove the heat from the hot surface of thermoelectric module. The experimental results from new VOCs recycling unit shows that the maximum recovery rate of the unit was 83.2 % and the recycled VOCs' purity was 98 % or more. And the noise problem was solved by applying the thermoelectric module to the VOCs recycling unit.

        소형단위공간을 위한 수납가구 모듈시스템 디자인연구

        (디자인배경과 목적)국내의 1인가구의 거대한 증가와 더불어 그동안의 다인(多人)가구의 소비패턴과 상이한 다양한 소비트 랜드의 급변은 원룸, 오피스텔과 같은 싱글가구(1-Person Household) 주거형태로 도시형생활주택이라는 대단위의 주거공간 변화를 가져왔다. 그것은 소득증가, 교육수준 향상, 여성고용 확대문화, 초혼연령 상승, 개인주의 확산, 고령화 심화, 남녀 평균수명의 차이 등이 주요 요인으로 나타나고 있고 다양한 활동 기능을 수반한 빌트인 공간에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 소비자 라이프스타일과 수요변화에 따른 도시형생활주택 공간의 모듈화된 시스템가구 디자인 제안을 통해 소형 단위공간에서의 사용자 활동의 확장성과 만족도를 제고할 수 있는 방향을 제시하고자 한다. (디자인진행방법) 소형단위의 제한적인 물리적 공간의 활용성을 최적화하기 위한 요건은 첫째, 가구의 가변성을 제공하고, 두 번째는 사용자들의 동선을 최적화할 수 있도록 하는 것과 세 번째는 데드 스페이스를 최소화하는 것이다. 침대, 책상, 옷장 등에 폴딩 메카니즘(가변성 하드웨어 개발)을 적용시키고, 프레임유닛(unit)과 선반을 모듈화(module)하여 공간 크기와 사용자 수요에 따라 확장할 수 있는 시스템을 제시하고자 한다. (결과) 본 연구에서 제안하는 가구 디자인의 전개 방향은 1950mm길이 침대크기를 기준으로 3개 등분할하여 700mm 가로길이를 모듈의 1 단위(unit)로 기준하였다. 옷장-침대-책상/테이블을 필수아이템으로 하여 공간절약형 수납 가구 모듈시스템의 기본형을 계획하였고, 이에 폴딩 하드웨어를 장착과 더불어 책상 및 테이블에 접이기능을 구현하도록 계획하였다. 도어장착이 가능하도록 스틸프레임과 패널결합하는 T’형 커넥터의 메커니즘을 적용하도록 하였다. 제시된 모듈타입은 A(컴팩트형), B(일반형), C(확장형)으로 구분하여였고, 기본아이템구성으로부터 여가활용을 위한 모듈구성까지 확장 응용한 디자인을 예시로 제안하였다. 이는 도시형생활주택의 크기에 기준하여 다양한 주택크기의 평균치를 산출하여 3개의 전체크기를 대표적으로 구성한 것이며, 수납장의 가감선택에 따라 크기조절이 가능할 수 있도록 계획한 것이다. 최소 3300mm 부터 최대 5500mm 폭의 확장된 모듈유형을 조합하여 입면설계를 하였고, 옷장-침대-책상/테이블-TV대-수납공간(책장,서랍장, 박스 등)-여가 공간 모듈 등 총 9개의 아이템 조합을 시뮬레이션 하였다. (결론) 소형단위공간에 적합한 수납가구의 모듈시스템의 주요관점을 이해하고 우리나라의 1인가구 주거공간의 변화와 신산업창출의 사회적측면, 문화적측면에서 방향성을 제시하였다. 이에 따라 국내 진입한 관련산업의 글로벌기업과 경쟁할 수 있는 국내 기업들의 연구개발능력의 제고와 정책적 방향을 수립하는 데 지침이 될 수 있을 것이다. (Background and Purpose) An enormous increase in the number of single-person households and the rapid change in the consumption trends in Korea, different from the consumption patterns of multi-person households, have led to a new type of urban living spaces, such as one-room households and officetels (multipurpose buildings with both commercial and residential units). An increase in income, improvement in education, an increase in the female economic activity ratio, delayed marriages, spread of individualism, and aging society are major factors of the demand for built-in spaces. This study aimed to suggest how to improve the expandability of small-unit spaces and achieve the fulfillment of residents’ activities by proposing a modular system furniture design. (Method) First, to optimize the utilization of the limited physical space in a small unit, the variability of furniture should be provided. Second, users are to be allowed to optimize their movement, and third, dead space should to be minimized. A folding mechanism was applied to beds, desks, and wardrobes, and frame units and shelving were modularized to present a system that could be expanded depending on the space size and user demand. (Results) The development direction of the furniture design proposed in this study was divided into three equal parts based on the 1950 mm bed length, and the width of 700 mm was standardized as one module unit. The basic type of space-saving storage furniture module system was planned with the wardrobe-bed-desk/table as essential items, as well as the incorporating of the folding function with desks and tables, along with installing the folding hardware. The mechanism of the T-type connector that links the steel frame and the panel was applied to enable door mounting. The proposed module types were classified as the compact type (A), general type (B), and extended type (C), and a design that extended from the basic item configuration to module configuration for leisure use was proposed as an example. It was a representative composition of three overall sizes obtained by calculating the average value of various house sizes based on the size of urban living houses, and it was planned to adjust the size according to the choice of storage cabinets. Elevation design was performed by combining the extended module types with a width of at least 3300 mm to maximum 5500 mm, and a total of nine items such as wardrobe-bed-desk/table-TV stand-storage space (bookcase, drawer cabinet, box, etc.)-leisure space module. (Conclusion) This study provided an understanding of the main perspectives of the modular system of storage furniture suitable for small-unit spaces, and suggested the direction from the social and cultural aspects of the change of Korean single-person households’ residential spaces and the creation of new industries. Accordingly, this study may serve as a guideline for improving the R&D capabilities of domestic companies that will be able to compete with global companies in related industries, as well as establishing public policy directions.

        형태적 다양화를 위한 교차적층방식의 유닛모듈 설계

        This research is to suggest a unit-module plan of cross stacking method for design diversity of modular housing. In this study, we analyzed cases of the domestic and overseas modular construction which applied with the cross stacking method. Through case studies, we confirmed that the method was suitable for diverse design plan of modular housing. In addition, we performed 3D modeling, using framed modules of dormitory for foreigners and public dormitory for university students. Through this process, we have identified constructional and structural problems. Futhermore, we derived solutions for the problems and also for detailed unit-module plan of the cross stacking method. Thus, we made a model of unit-module plan to verify its utility and then we confirmed that it is very useful to the cross stacking method for design diversity of modular housing.

      • PLC 출력 Unit의 출력 점수 확장에 관한 연구

        PLC는 공장자동화 설계에서 가장 많이 사용되고 있으며, PLC 언어에 대한 연구도 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 PLC를 사용한 공장 자동화 설계에서 제어하고자 하는 출력 기기의 수가 증가되었을 때 출력을 확장하는 방법을 제안한다. 기본 베이스에 출력 유닛을 더 이상 장착할 수 없는 상태에서 출력 점수를 $2{\sim}3$점 확장하고자 한다면, 증설베이스와 파워서플라이, 증설케이블 및 출력 유닛을 별도로 장착하여야 한다. 그러면 비용이 상당히 추가되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 출력을 소량으로 확장하는 방법을 제안한다. 즉, 출력 유닛의 접점을 입력받아 디코딩하는 확장모듈과 인코딩 및 디코딩하여 최종 출력접점으로 확장하는 프로그램 모듈을 설계하고, 실험을 통해 그의 타당성을 확인하였다. PLC is the most widely utilized among many sorts of existing controller for the design of process control system, and study about a PLC language is performed actively. In this paper, we proposed the method that we increase an output points when increased of the output machine which is going to control it in the FA design that used PLC. Output point is going to be extended with 2-3 points in the state that cannot equip output unit in basic base any more. Then an extension base, a power supply, an extension cable and an output unit must be equipped particularly. Then a cost must be added very much. This paper propose the method which extended an output in a small quantity. We designed the expansion unit that received the points of output unit and decoded the signal and the program module that finally extended output points by encoding and decoding, and we confirmed his feasibility through a experiment.

        안드로이드 커널 모듈 취약점 탐지를 위한 자동화된 유닛 테스트 생성 기법

        In this study, we propose an automated unit test generation technique for detecting vulnerabilities of Android kernel modules. The technique automatically generates unit test drivers/stubs and unit test inputs for each function of Android kernel modules by utilizing dynamic symbolic execution. To reduce false alarms caused by function pointers and missing pre-conditions of automated unit test generation technique, we develop false alarm reduction techniques that match function pointers by utilizing static analysis and generate pre-conditions by utilizing def-use analysis. We showed that the proposed technique could detect all existing vulnerabilities in the three modules of Android kernel 3.4. Also, the false alarm reduction techniques removed 44.9% of false alarms on average.

        This study focused on the fact that there are a lot of alleys in some areas of the Urban Renewal New Deal project. In this study, we proposed a method to construct a spatial module by combining small modules. It is expected that the combination of small modules developed in this way will help revitalize the New Deal of Urban Regeneration. In the future, additional joint details will be developed, structure review will be conducted.

        초고층 건축물 적용을 위한 Unit형 BIPV의 설계방안 및 환경성능평가

        BIPV(Building Integrated Photovoltaic System), which is one of the new and renewable energy, does not require additional installation space, because the photovoltaic module can be applied to the roof or wall. The application of BIPV continues to increase due to its advantages not only the original function of the electric energy production but also the reduction of the finishing materials in buildings. However, previous research focused on BIPV applied to the small buildings. The study on application of BIPV to the external environment conditions in skyscraper has not been developed yet. This study reviewed the issues such as design, construction and maintenance that may occur when BIPV was applied to the skyscraper in a traditional way. What is more, it is a basic study on the direction of BIPV application in order to save energy in skyscraper. Thereafter, this development target to implement both energy production and energy saving when BIPV is applied to skyscraper.
