To analyze the effect of a social dance on an emotional behavior of the old lady, the study chose 31 old ladies participating in a social dance and 28 not in a social dance but in a quiet activity at the public welfare center. The results were as follows; First, as for the ones participating in a social dance, the less sense of alienation, the higher lifetime pleasure they had. As for the ones not participating in it, the less weariness, the higher lifetime pleasure they had. Second, the subordinate factor of an emotional behavior possible to explain their lifetime pleasure from the participants in a social dance was referred a sense of alienation, on the other hand, it was given weariness by non-participants.

XML을 이용한 웹 상의 멀티미디어 내용 기반 검색 시스템

Recently the increase of multimedia data on the web and the user's various requirements lead many multimedia retrieval systems to develop usefully. This paper shows new multimedia content-based retrieval system that manages database for images independently and can retrieve most similar image like query image chosen by user. The proposed system represents text information using XML and exchanges information among modules. So, this system supports retrieval through structure of XML document and integrates easily in heterogeneous environments.

하악의 교정용 미니 임플랜트 식립 부위에서의 피질골 두께와 치근간 거리 : 3차원으로 재구성한 CT 영상을 이용한 연구

교정용 미니 임플랜트의 식립 부위에 대한 연구는 주로 구치부 치근사이 공간에 집중되어 왔다. 본 연구의 목적은 전치에서 구치에 이르는 치아간의 피질골 두께와 치근간 거리를 측정함으로써 교정용 미니 임플랜트 식립 시에 참고 할 수 있는 임상적 지침을 제공하는 것이다. 연구를 위해 성인 28명(남자 14명, 여자 14명)의 CT를 V-works 4.0 을 이용하여 3차원 영상으로 전환하였다. 중절치에서 제2대구치에 이르는 모든 치아 사이를 치간 접촉점을 지나면서 교합 평면에 수직이 되도록 잘라 90° 단면을 형성한 후 치조정으로부터 높이를 달리하여 0, 15, 30, 45° 의 각도를 주어 피질골의 두께를 측정하였다. 또한 치조정으로부터 2, 4, 6 mm 높이에서 교합 평면에 평행하게 잘라 90° 단면을 만든 후 치근간 거리를 측정하였다. 피질골의 두께는 전치부에서 구치부로 갈수록 두꺼워지는 경향을 보였으며, 5-6과 1-1 사이, 6-7과 1-1, 1-2, 2-3 사이에서는 유의한 차이를 보였다 (p < 0.05). 치조정으로부터 2 mm 높이를 제외한 대부분의 위치에서 각도가 증가함에 따라 피질골의 두께가 급격히 증가하는 경향을 보였고, 4 - 6 mm 높이에 식립시 30 - 45˚ 이상의 각도를 부여해야 피질골 보유량(engage 양)에 유의한 차이를 보였다. 치근간 거리 측정 결과 4-5, 5-6, 6-7 사이가 치근 손상 없이 미니 임플랜트를 식립하기에 적절한 위치라고 볼 수 있었고, 1-1과 1-2 사이는 미니 임플랜트 식립을 위한 충분한 치근간 거리를 제공하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 실험의 결과로 볼 때 피질골과 미니임플랜트의 접촉면을 증가시키기 위해서는 치조정에서 치근단부로 4와 6 mm 되는 부위에서 30˚ 또는 45˚ 로 식립하는 것이 유리할 것으로 보인다. The purpose of this study was to provide clinical guidelines to indicate the best location for mini-implants as it relates to the cortical bone thickness and root proximity. Methods: CT images from 14 men and 14 women were used to evaluate the buccal interradicular cortical bone thickness and root proximity from mesial to the central incisor to the 2nd molar. Cortical bone thickness was measured at 4 different angles including 0°, 15°, 30°, and 45°. Results: There was a statistically significant difference in cortical bone thickness between the second premolar/ first permanent molar site, central incisor/central incisor site, between the first/second permanent molar site and in the anterior region. A statistically significant difference in cortical bone thickness was also found when the angulation of placement was increased except for the 2 mm level from the alveolar crest. Interradicular spaces at the 1st/2nd premolar, 2nd premolar/1st permanent molar and 1st/2nd permanent molar sites are considered to be wide enough for mini-implant placement without root damage. Conclusions: Given the limits of this study, mini-implants for orthodontic anchorage may be well placed at the 4 and 6 mm level from the alveolar crest in the posterior region with a 30° and 45° angulation upon placement.

백금(Ⅳ)착체의 약리학적 연구

The platinum complex, PtCl₄(2-CEen), was previously synthesized and shown to have anti-tumor activity. In the present study, toxicologic profile of PtCl₄(2-CEen) and its acute anti-inflammatory activity on carrageenin edema was observed with oral administration. The ef-4feet of this agent on acetic acid-induced writhing in mice were also examined. In male and female mice given a single intragastrical dose of PtCl₄(2-CEen), we determined that LD_(50) values were over lOOOmg/kg B.W. In the method of carrageenin edema and writhing test, the PtCl₄(2-CEen), orally administered in a single dose, tended to inhibit the development of hind paw edema in rats, and the number of writhing induced by acetic acid in mice. These facts suggest that PtCl₄(2-CEen) may have weak anti-inflammatory effect.

SD Rats를 이용 1-hexene의 흡입독성 연구

The purpose of this study was to investigate the acute (4 hours) and repeated-dose (6 hours a day, 5 days a week, 4 weeks) toxic effects of I -hexene on Sprague- Dawley (SD) rats which were treated by inhalation. The results were as follows; I. The median lethal concentration (LC_(50)) was estimated 52,694 ppm (confidence limit 95%; 49,494~55,447 ppm) in acute inhalation. Abnormal clinical signs related to the l-Hexene were not observed with the acute inhalation dose. Gross findings of necropsy revealed on evidence of specific toxicity related to the 1-hexene, II. By repeated inhalation exposure the body weight of male were more or less reduced by the dose of 2,500 ppm and 5,000 ppm compared with control group. However there were no significant variation hematology and blood biochemistry for the exposed rats compared with the control rats. Abnormal clinical signs and gross findings of necropsy related to the 1-hexene were not shown. In conclusion when we exposed I-hexene to SD rats for 4 weeks, 5 days per week, 6 hours per day, the Lowest observed effect level (LOEL) was over 2,500 ppm and Non observed effect level (NOEL) was below 500 ppm.

직류 전원 분할용 커패시터의 용량변화에 따른 복공진형 고주파 인버터의 특성해석에 관한 연구

A half bridge type double resonant high frequency resonant inverter using PFM is described. This proposed inverter can reduce distribution of the switching current because of using the current of the serial resonant circuit to the input current of the parallel one. In the case of variable capacitance of the DC voltage source capacitor, the analysis of inverter circuit has generally described by using normalized parameter and operating characteristics has been evaluated in terms of switching frequency and parameters. Based on the characteristics value, a method of the circuit design is proposed. The theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental ones. In the future, this proposed circuit is considerated to be useful for induction heating and discharge lamp.

In this paper, a position accuracy improvement method using an energy stored in winding inductance of the LPM is proposed.

유전실험법에 의한 가교폴리에틸렌의 절연특성 평가

In this paper, we estimated the insulation properties of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) for ultra-high voltage cable. we have studied the dielectric characteristics of XLPE due to frequency and temperature variation. The dielectric characteristics were measured in the temperature range from 25[℃] to l20[℃]. Also we measured in the voltage range of l[V] to 20[V] according to the step voltage application method. From FT-IR spectrum as an analysis of physical properties, a strong absorption in wavenumbers 700 to 730[cm^(-1)] 1456[cm^(-1)] and 2700 to 3000 [cm^(-1)] observed by the methyl group(CH₂). From the analysis of DSC. the crystalline melting points of the specimen observed in the temperature 60[℃] and 106.58[℃].

This paper propose a method, observer design for torque current measurement of induction motors, by using single term walsh series(STWS). If the torque currents of induction motors need to know for induction motors driving correctly, it is observed by proposed observer directly. Since the observer which is presented in this paper has an algebraic form, it is more attractive than the conservative others.
