Classification of Product Knowledge : A Conceptual Discussion

Subjective product knowledge is now a new construct, but in fact has been defined and measured in a plethora of ways. Existing subjective knowledge measures range from a single item (Peracchio and Tybout 1996) to multi-item scales (Flynn and Goldsmith 1999). Regardless of whether the instruments use single or multiple indicators, they simply measure consumers' overall subjective knowledge and treat the construct as unidimensional. As previously discussed, consumer product knowledge is a multidimensional construct (Alba and Hutchinson 1987; Biswas and Sherrell 1993). This multidimensionality should not be confined to measuring objective knowledge. In other words, it equally applies to subjective knowledge. Throughout this paper it was pointed out discrepancies in findings (e.g., relationship between knowledge and search) that are mainly due to the dearth of valid, multidimensional instruments. Unfortunately, such a scale does not exist. Therefore, future research should develop a scale that captures multidimensional aspects of consumer knowledge. Theory-driven, multidimensional subjective knowledge scales should prove useful to marketing practitioners as well. An essential in consumer-oriented markets is understanding the consumer. Part of understanding consumers is understanding how much they know. For instance, a marketer of a new, highly technological product can administer a multidimensional subjective project knowledge scale to learn about the perceived knowledge distribution of his target market. If it is discovered that the target market is largely comprised of novices, the marketer may want to educate the potential consumers in terms of the terminology associated with the product, the product's attributes, the purchasing procedures, and the different uses for the product. Promotional campaigns can be orientated accordingly. If educating the consumer is not of concern, then the marketer may want to place more emphasis on peripheral cues in advertising. A marketer may find him/herself in the situation where most of the target market for his/her product is high on the knowledge continuum. This marketer, for example, will experience more liberties in terms of terminology of message arguments.

이 연구는 구조분석에 의한 태권도 품새 연구이다. 여기에서는 태권도 품새 영역을 표층구조․중층구조․심층구조 등으로 구분하여 이상의 3가지 영역을 태권도 품새를 구성하고 있는 영역으로 선정하고 분석하였다. 이 연구의 요약은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 품새의 표층구조는 외형적 동작자세를 의미한다. 과거와 현재, 품새 동작은 발동작보다 손동작이 비율적으로 많이 차지하고 있고 동작의 표현은 직선적이고 딱딱한 느낌을 준다. 하지만 앞으로의 품새는 현재보다 동작 표현면에서 부드러움을 나타낼 것으로 예측되고 현재의 직선적인 동작을 포함해서 곡선적인 동작표현이 빈번하게 나타날 것으로 사료된다. 둘째, 품새의 중층구조는 좌우대칭을 나타내는 연무선과 공방성을 의미한다. 과거와 현재의 공방성은 외형적인 면에 있어서는 차이를 나타내지 않고 있다. 즉 현재의 태극품새 이전의 형은 가라데 형을 수련했고 동작의 차이는 크게 나타나지 않았으며 어느 측면에서는 모방성도 보이고 있다. 이러한 좌우대칭성과 공방성은 앞으로 품새가 개정이 된다고 하더라도 크게 변하지 않을 것으로 예측된다. 이러한 이유는 좌우대칭과 공방성은 수련적인 측면을 감안하더라도 생리적․체육적 측면에서 중요한 기능을 하고 있기 때문인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 품새의 심층구조는 의미․가치․철학 등을 의미한다. 과거와 현재에는 전통적으로 무도성이 강조된 수련성 위주로 흘러왔으나 앞으로는 건강위주의 품새가 새로운 의미로 포함될 것으로 나타났다.

In micro hole punching process the burr occurs inevitably, but the burr must be minimized in order to improve the quality 1 and accuracy of the product. In this study, magnetic field-assisted polishing technique is applied to remove the burr which exists in nozzles for ink-jet printer head and proved to be a feasible for deburring by experiment. The deburring characterisics of sheet metals was investigated changing with polishing time and magnetic abrasive size. After the deburring, the burr size has remarkably reduced and roundness of the hole also has improved.
초등학생의 건강생활실천정도에 영향을 미치는 사회 경제적 요인

Purpose : This study explores the relationship between the health behavior and knowledge of elementary school students and the socio-economic status of their parents. Methods : A self-administrated quenstionnaire was provided to 238 students and their parents living within Seoul metropolitan area. The questionnaires were administered during December 2003. The relationship betweensocio-economic status, health behavior (19 items) and health knowledge (15 items) were analyzed using correlation, t-test and one-way ANOVA. Multiple regression analyses were also performed in order to investigate the relationship between health behavior and socio-economic status. Results : The results of multiple regression demonstrated that the health behavior of children living in apartments was 2.29 higher (β=2.29) than those not living in apartments. Health behavior scores among students with highly educated mothers were 0.42 higher (β=0.42) than those for students with relatively uneducated mothers. These numbers represent statistically signuificant values. Conclusion : Since health behavior appears to be directly proportional to socio-econmic status ofthe parent, active intervention may be required in order to improve the health behavior of children with poorly educated mothers and who live in independent or multi-household houses.

Sternal fractures are most common in drivers of motor vehicles whose anterior chest hits the steering wheel during sudden deceleration. Sternal fractures may result in mediastinal hematoma secondary to bone marrow oozing. The hematoma usually resolves itself without complications, so an anterior mediastinal hematoma causing tamponade is rarely reported. We describe a case of blunt chest trauma resulting in a sternal fracture with a resultant anterior mediastinal hematoma and mediastinal tamponade.

Racemate Bupivacaine의 키랄분리를 위한 크로마토그래피의 최적분리조건을 조사하였다. Kromasii^(�) 키랄고정상에서 최적이동상조성 성분은 n-hexane/2-propanol/acetic acid/triethylamine, 99/1/0.3/0.05(vol.%)이였다. 이동상 조성성분인 2-propanol의 부피비가 증가할수록 체류시간과 분리도가 동시에 감소되었다. 이동상 성분 중에서 미량으로 존재하는 triethylamine이 증가할수록 피크의 sharpness가 증가하고 체류시간 역시 감소하였다. 또한, acetic acid가 없으면, 크로마토그래피 광학분할이 불가능하였으며 부피 0.3%에서 분리도가 가장 높음을 확인할 수 있었다. 한편, 키랄의약품의 대량분리방법중의 하나인 SMB(simulated moving bed)크로마토그래피 시스템(직경 1.0cm×10cm×8개 칼럼으로 구성)의 최적분리조건을 전산모사에 의해 구하였으며, 이를 실험으로 확인하였다. 그 결과 switching time 15분, feed의 유량 0.1 ml/min, desorbent 0.86 ml/min, raffinate 0.3 ml/min, extract 0.66 ml/min, recycle 1.0 ml/min일 때 100% 순도의 R-form과 S-form을 얻을 수 있었으며, 실험치와 전산모사치간의 오차는 ??2%이내였다. The chiral separation of racemate Bupivacaine was carried out to find the optimum condition for chromatographic system. The optimum species and composition for mobile phase were n-hexane/2-propanol/acetic acid/triethylamine, 99/1/0.3/0.05(vol.%) in case Kromasil� chiral stationary phase was employed. The retention time and resolution decreased with the increase in the ratio of 2-propanol in the mobile phase. The sharpness of peak and retention time decreased, as the content of triethylamine increased. Without the existence of acetic acid, the chromatographic separation didn't occur, and the resolution was the highest at the acetic acid volume ratio of 0.3%. The optimum condition of SMB (simulated moving bed) was determined by simulation and its results was compared with exprimental data from lab-scale SMB (10 mm 1D×8 ea). Rased on the SMB simulation and experimental results, 100% purity of R and S Bupivacaine were obtained and the error between the calculated and experimental value was within ±2%.

The composition and the microstructure of the Ag-Cu alloy electrodeposits electroplated in Succinimide bath were investigated varying the electrolysis conditions such as bath composition, current density and additive agents etc. The cathode overpotential increased with the increase of Succinimide concentration and current density ratio in the bath. The Ag content of the alloy deposits decreased with the increase of current density and pH and temperature in the bath. The optimum condition for 78wt.%Ag-22wt.%Cu code position alloy is an follows : pH10(adjusted by NH_4OH), 0.03M AgNO_3, 0.27M Cu(NO_3)_2 3H_2O, 0.5M Succinimide in bath and 3.5A/dm^2∼5.5A/dm^2 current density.
