Background/Aims: Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is characterized by fat accumulation in the liver. MASLD encompasses both steatosis and MASH. Since MASH can lead to cirrhosis and liver cancer, steatosis and MASH must be distinguished during patient treatment. Here, we investigate the genomes, epigenomes, and transcriptomes of MASLD patients to identify signature gene set for more accurate tracking of MASLD progression. Methods: Biopsy-tissue and blood samples from patients with 134 MASLD, comprising 60 steatosis and 74 MASH patients were performed omics analysis. SVM learning algorithm were used to calculate most predictive features. Linear regression was applied to find signature gene set that distinguish the stage of MASLD and to validate their application into independent cohort of MASLD. Results: After performing WGS, WES, WGBS, and total RNA-seq on 134 biopsy samples from confirmed MASLD patients, we provided 1,955 MASLD-associated features, out of 3,176 somatic variant callings, 58 DMRs, and 1,393 DEGs that track MASLD progression. Then, we used a SVM learning algorithm to analyze the data and select the most predictive features. Using linear regression, we identified a signature gene set capable of differentiating the various stages of MASLD and verified it in different independent cohorts of MASLD and a liver cancer cohort. Conclusions: We identified a signature gene set (i.e., CAPG, HYAL3, WIPI1, TREM2, SPP1, and RNASE6) with strong potential as a panel of diagnostic genes of MASLD-associated disease.

<P>Backgrounds: Baclofen is used as a skeletal muscle relaxant for multiple sclerosis patients. It depresses the transmission of monosynaptic and polysynaptic reflex by stimulating GABA(beta) (gamma-aminobutyric acid) receptors. Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare the pharmacokinetic characteristics of two 10-mg baclofen formulations and to assess bioequivalence. Methods: A randomized, single-dose, two-period, two-sequence crossover study was conducted in healthy male subjects. Each subject received the test or reference formulations. After washout period, all subjects received the alternative formulation. Blood samples were collected for up to 24 hours after the dose in each period. Pharmacokinetic (PK) parameters, including t(max), C-max, and AUC(last) were calculated by noncompartmental methods. The geometric mean ratio (GMR) of the test to the reference formulation and its 90% confidence interval (CI) for C-max and AUC(last) were calculated for assessment of bioequivalence. Results: A total of 22 subjects completed the study. The median t(max) of the test and the reference formulation were 1.50 and 1.25 hours, respectively. The mean (+/- SD) C-max of the test and the reference formulation were 141.401 +/- 29.447 ng/mL and 138.837 +/- 31.392 ng/mL, respectively. The mean (+/- SD) AUC(last) of the two formulations were 702.404 +/- 82.149 ngxh/mL and 726.803 +/- 90.638 ngxh/mL, respectively. The GMR (90% CI) of the test to the reference formulation for the C-max and AUC(last) were 1.0306 (0.9564 - 1.1106) and 0.9674 (0.9437 - 0.9916), respectively. Conclusions: The two different baclofen 10-mg formulations had similar PK profiles and were bio-equivalent based on C-max and AUC(last).</P>

본 연구는 2014년 1월부터 2015년 8월까지 시행된 74,630 건의 시중은행 아파트 주택 담보대출 자료를 통하여 대출자가 주택담보대출의 고정금리 또는 변동금리 대출 선택에 미치는 영향을 조사하는데 그 목적이 있다. 분석에 사용된 변수는 연속형 변수로 고정 금리와 변동금리 차이, 소득, LTV, 그리고 차주 신용등급을 활용하였고 명목형 변수로는 거치식 대출 여부, MCI대출 여부, 그리고 지역별 변수를 활용하였다. 이때 고정금리 와 변동금리의 차이는 대출 금리의 구조를 감안하여 OLS모형을 통해 가산금리를 추정 한 값을 활용하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 금리차이가 확대되고 소득이 증가할수록 변동금리를 선택하는 것으로 나타났으며 LTV가 증가할 경우에는 변동금리를 선택하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 거치식 대출이거나 대출자가 MCI를 활용하는 경우일수록 변동금리 대출을 선택할 확률이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 선행연구와 결과와 다소 차이가 보인 결과로, 지방광역시나 기타지방의 주택담보대출일수록 변동금리 대출을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. This paper examines the determining factors of consumers’ choices between ARM(adjustable rate mortgage) and FRM(fixed rate mortgage) using 74,630 apartment mortgage data entrees from January 2014 to August 2015. Research model includes four continuous variables and three nominal variables: FRM-ARM rate differential, income, LTV, and credit rating as well as payment type, use of MCI(Mortgage Credit Insurance), and the regional variable. To calculate FRM-ARM rate differential, I adapt the OLS method for estimating additional interest rate. We yielded significant results. First, we have the evidence that the lower FRM-ARM rate differential, income level and higher LTV are significantly correlated with choosing FRM. Second, our results reveal that borrowers choosing a lump-sum payment mortgage prefer to get an FRM and those choosing MCI are likely to be serviced in ARM. Finally, Our results demonstrate that the demographic factors are key determinants.

This study examined the preparations carried out to establish indoor garden areas in Seoul metropolitan subway stations and in 5 other metropolitan cities subway stations in order to present findings on how these preparations might be improved. The preparation ratio for indoor garden areas among Seoul metropolitan subway stations was 6.9%, 38 places, and the ratio overall for 5 metropolitan cities was 21.6%, 54 places. Among the 5 metropolitan cities, the ratio was 26.7% in Busan metropolitan city, 20.0% in Gwangju metropolitan city, 11.6% in Daegu metropolitan city, 18.2% in Daejeon metropolitan city, and 10.3% in Incheon metropolitan city. With regard to the results comparing the decoration ratio with natural flowers and artificial flowers among the prepared stations with indoor gardens, in the case of Seoul metropolitan area, places decorated with natural flowers numbered 23, and the ratio was 60.5%, but, in case of the 5 metropolitan cities, places decorated with natural flowers numbered just 6, and the ratio was just 11.1%. In the case of garden ornaments as material introduced in Seoul metropolitan area subway stations decorated with natural flowers and the 5 metropolitan cities subway stations, one to three kinds of ornament were introduced per each place, and the ornament items included rocks, garden lanterns, ponds, stone mortars, stone lamps, fountains, sculptures, mini water mills, and windmills. The introduced trees at subway stations in Korea that were decorated with natural flowers included 93 species of 70 genera of 45 families. The introduced trees included 87 species of 67 genera of 42 families in Seoul metropolitan area subway stations, and the introduced trees included 28 species of 16 genera of 11 families in the 5 metropolitan cities subway stations. Native trees included 21 species of 20 genera of 17 families. As for scenery formation elements according to the height of trees, in the case of Seoul metropolitan area, the introduced trees included 22 species of upper trees, 15 species of middle trees, and 46 species of lower trees. In the case of the 5 metropolitan cities, the introduced trees included 1 species of upper trees, 5 species of middle trees, and 18 species of lower trees. Therefore, volume and visual diversity in Seoul metropolitan area was provided by the height and bulk of trees, but the volume of scenery and diversity in the 5 metropolitan cities was insufficient. In the case of Seoul metropolitan area, using indoor garden spaces is necessary to connect with mini libraries, resting spaces, and snack bars, and various using types are necessary. In the case of the 5 metropolitan cities, only the visual image was provided, and therefore an activation plan for using spaces is necessary.
모기지 신용보증(MCG, MCI) 상품의 특성과 상품 선택에 관한 연구

본 연구는 주택담보대출시 소액임차보증금을 공제하지 않고 주택담보대출비율 까지 대출을받을 수 있도록 하는 모기지 신용보증(MCG,MCI) 상품이 가지는 특성을 이론적으로 살펴보고 실제 대출자료를 활용하여 모기지 신용보증을 선택하는데 영향을 미치는 요인 및 특성을살펴보는데 목적이 있다 선행연구에 대한 검토에 따라 본 연구에서는 대출자의 자산이 적을수록 소득이 높을수록 모기지 신용보증을 활용할 가능성이 높아질 것으로 가정하였다 이러한이론적 가정을 실증적으로 분석하기 위하여 14.1월~ 15.8월까지 시중 은행에서 취급된 아파트 주택담보대출 7.5만건을 대상으로 대출 및 대출자의 특성이 모기지신용보험의 선택에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다 분석 결과 자산제약이 높을수록 주택가격이 낮을수록 모기지 신용보증활용 가능성이 증가하였으며 소득제약이 높을수록 소득이 낮을수록 모기지 신용보증 활용 가능성이 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다 또한 한계효과 분석 결과 소득 변수보다 주택가격 변수의계수값이 크게 나타나 모기지 신용보증의 선택에 있어 자산제약의 영향이 더욱 크게 영향을미치는 것으로 나타났다 문재인 정부의 출범에 따라 ㆍ 와 같은 대출규제가 강화될 경우 자산이 부족한 대출자의 모기지 신용보증에 대한 수요는 더욱 증가할 것으로 예상된다 또한 정책적으로 내 집 마련을 위한 대출 수요를 충족시켜주기 위한 다양한 방안의 마련이 필요할 것으로 보인다
아파트 실거래가 지수와 매각가율의 관계에 관한 실증연구

This study examines the relationship between the apartment auction market and the house price index(HPI). We analyzed the transaction-based HPI of six dominant regions, Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Incheon, Gyeonggi, and Gyeongnam. These are main contributions of this study because most previous literature analyzed asking price-based HPI of limited regions such as Seoul. The result of correlation coefficient and VECM analysis showed that the HPI preceded the auction price ratio(API) but there is a regional difference. Therefore, the leading relationship of the housing auction market, which was mainly defined by the media, to the house price was found to be insignificant in both asking price-based index and transaction-based index. In Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gyeongnam, the HPI had an effect on the API. Busan and Daegu, however, showed that increase of the API resulted in a decrease of the HPI. The reason is that HPI in Busan and Daegu continued rising, but the API has fluctuated sharply during the period.
굵은골재가 포함된 3D 콘크리트 프린팅의 압출성 검증에 대한 실험적 연구

이 연구에서는 3D 프린팅에 적합한 굵은 골재가 포함된 콘크리트 배합을 개발하기 위하여 증점제의 함량을 변수로 한 압출성 검증실험을 수행하였다. 압출성 검증기준은 필라멘트의 단면적이 노즐의 단면적과 유사하고, 필라멘트의 높이가 노즐의 높이와 유사하게 형성되는 것으로 정하였다. 증점제 함량을 1.5%, 3%로 하여 실험을 수행하였으며, 실험결과 증점제 3%의 배합에서 비교적 우수한 압출성능을 확보하였다.
