      • 産褥期 感染 誘發 細菌의 生育을 억제하는 韓藥材 探索에 關한 硏究

        産褥期 感染이란 分娩後 生殖器의 細菌에 의한 感染을 意味하며, 産後 體溫上昇의 大部分은 骨盤感染에 의한 것으로 産褥期 感染의 重要한 指漂가 된다. 한의학에서 産後發熱의 病因病耭는 주로 邪毒感染, 血瘀, 外感, 血虛 등으로 보았으며, 치료는 一般的으로 産後疾患에는 處證이 많아 發表攻裏를 過度하게 하지 않고, 氣血과 營衛의 調和에 위주로 하나, 外感과 裏實證을 疏怒히 하면 안된다. 따라서 産後發熱을 惹起하는 各種 原因菌에 對한 客觀的인 抑制效果의 檢證은 産後發熱의 治療率을 높이는데 중요하다. 그 결과 산욕기감염을 유발하는 各種 細菌에 對해 黃連, 烏梅, 五味子 등의 水溶性 抽出物이 杭菌活性이 相對的으로 좋은 效果를 보였다. 따라서 産褥期 感染의 治療에 이들 韓藥材를 이용하면 보다 效果的일 것으로 생각된다. Various kinds of medicinal herbs and prescribed herb medicines which have usually been used for treatment of reducing fever, purging intense heat, and detoxication were secreened for antibacterial activity against Proteus vulgaris, S. aureus, and E. faecalis which causing puerperal infection. Minimal inhibitory concentrations of water- and ethanol-soluble extracts of Hwangyon(C. japonica), Omae(P. mume), and Omiza(S. chinensis) were determined and using thin-layer chromatography the extracts of Hwangyon and Omiza were separated. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The water-soluble extracts of Keumeunhwa(L. japonica), Chiza(G. jasminoides), Hwangyon(C. japonica), Dansam(S. miltiorrhiza), Omae(P. mume) and Omiza(S. chinensis) showed antibacterial activities against P. vulgaris ; among them, the extracts of Hwangyon, Omae, and Omiza showed high antibacterial activities. The water-soluble extracts of Keumeunhwa(L. japonica), Hwangyon(C. japonica), Hwangkeum(S. baicalensis), Hwangbaek(P. amurense), Dansam(S. miltiorrhiza), Daehwang(R. coreanum), Omae(P. mume), Omiza(S, chinensis), Gingseng(P. ginseng), and Gamcho(G. uralensis) showed antibacterial activities against S. aureus ; among them, the extracts of Hwangyon and Omiza showed high antibacterial activities. The water-soluble extracts of Banggi(C. trilobus), Daehwang(R. coreanum), Omae(P. mume), Omiza(S. chinensis), and Gamcho(G. uralensis) inhibited the cell growth of E. faecalis ; among them, Omae and 0miza showed high antibacterial activities. The extract of Hwangyon(C. japonica) and Omae(P. mume) showed no inhibition against E. coli. However, the extract of Omiza(S. chinensis) inhibited cell growth of both E. coli and B. subtilis. 2. The water- and ethanol-soluble extract of Hwangyon(C. japonica) showed antibacterial activities against P. vulgaries and S. aureus, those of Omae(P. mume) against P. vulgaris and E. faecalis, and those of Omize(S. chinensis) against all species tested, P. vulgaris, S. aureus, and E. faecalis. With the exception that ethanol-soluble extract of Hwangyon(C. japonica) showed much higher antibacterial activity against S. aureus than water-soluble one, antibacterial activities of both water- and ethanol-soluble ones were similar to each of other two medicinal herbs. 3.When the prescribed herb medicines were tested, Sambohwan showed antibacterial activities against P. vulgaris and S. aureus. No prescribed herb medicine inhibited the cell growth of E. faecalis. 4. Minimal inhibitory concentrations(MICs) of both water- and ethanol-soluble extracts of Hwangyon (C. japonica), Omae(P. mume), and Omiza (S. chinensis) against P. vulgaris were 2.5㎎/㎖, 10㎎/㎖, and 20㎎/㎖, respectively. Those of both Hwangyon (C. japonica) and Omiza(S. chinensis) against S. aureus were 1.25㎎/㎖ and 10㎎/㎖, respectively. MICs of water-soluble extracts of Omae(P. mume) and Omiza(S. chinensis) aganist E. faecalis were 2.5㎎/㎖ and 5㎎/㎖, and those of ethanol-soluble extracts were 5㎎/㎖ and 10㎎/㎖, respectively. Except for those of E. faecalis, the cell growth of P. vulgaris and S. aureus were inhibited by much lower concentration of ethanol-soluble extracts used. As a result, the antibacterial compounds against P. vulgaris, S. aureus, and E. aecalis are contained in the extracts of Hwangyon(C, japonica), 0mae(P. mume), 0miza(S. chinensis), the prescribed herb medicine, Sambohwan, and might be used for treatment of puerperal infection. Further study should be carried out to identify which compounds affect the cell growth inhibition of P. vulgaris, S. aureus, and E. faecalis.

      • 텔레메틱스 서비스에서의 차량 내 네트워크 구축을 위한 CAN 프로토콜

        The advance of IT technology leads to a new industry called telematics and the active studies on the wired and wireless network for the various telematics services. Especially, a modularization of the terminal platform is needed to offer with telematics services efficiently, which requires the aid of the hardware technology as well as the softwar e one. The AMI-C, established for the standardization of the interface between the infortainment system and the communication network in the vehicle, provides standard interface for wired communication in the vehicle such as CAN, MOST and IDB-1394. In this paper, We analyze the wired communication protocol for the vehicle, focusing on the CAN protocol. In addition, a new terminal platform for the telematics service is proposed for the real-time control environment based on the CAN protocol. 최근 발달된 IT기술이 자동차에 적용되어 텔레메틱스(Telematics)라는 새로운 산업을 일으키고 있으며, 텔레메틱스 서비스를 위한 다양한 유·무선 기술과 네트워크기술 들이 연구되고 있다. 특히 효율적인 텔레메틱스 서비스를 위해 서는 단말 플랫폼의 모듈화가 요구된다. 이러한 모듈화된 단말 플랫폼은 소프트웨어에만 국한되지 않으며 새로운 하드웨어를 요구한다. 이를 위해 차량 정보엔터테인먼트 시스템과 차량 통신 네트워크의 인터페이스 표준화를 위한 AMI-C에서는 차량 내 유선 통신방법으로 CAN, MOST, IDB-1394와 같은 표준 인터페이스를 제공하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 CAN 프로토콜을 중심으로 텔레메틱스 서비스를 위한 차량 내 유선통신 프로토콜을 분석하고, CAN 프로토콜의 실시간 제어 환경에서의 텔레메틱스 서비스를 위한 단말 플랫폼을 제시한다.

        Diltiazem and nifedipine, have been used throughout the world as an effective antianginal and antihypertensive agent. In order to increase the activity of these drugs, we synthesized the diltiazem-nifedipine coupling compounds. These compounds^(1-8) were tested for antihypertensive effect. Unfortunately, these compounds didn't show any promising activities.

        Metal balls are commonly used in mechanical elements and systems including bearings. If there is a defect in a metal ball, it can cause a serious machine failure. By this reason every balls produced are required to be inspected, and the inspection is usually done by human eyes. However, the inspection by human eyes is always with the risk of mistakes, and a need to automate the inspection process is arisen. This paper describes a design of an automatic inspection system for detecting defects on ball surface. A machine vision system is used, and design process and techniques are described in detail. 강구는 베어링을 비롯한 기계 요소 및 장치에서 널리 사용되는 부품이다. 만약 강구에 결함이 있을 시, 이를 사용하는 기계에서 치명적인 결함이 초래될 수 있다. 따라서 제조된 강구에 대해서는 전량검사가 요구되고 있고, 검사과정은 사람의 육안에 의한 검사가 주를 이루고 있다. 그런데 사람에 의한 검사에는 항상 실수의 가능성이 있으므로, 이를 자동화하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 강구의 표면 결함을 자동적으로 검사할 수 있는 장치를 설계한다. 기계시각 장치가 사용되었고, 설계에 따른 구체적 절차와 기술들이 서술된다.

        Investigation study on the flow-induced noise by winglet and shroud shape of an axial flow fan at an outdoor unit of air conditioner

        Axial flow fans of outdoor units are equipped with specially shaped winglets and shroud for reduction of the flow-induced noise. In this study, the unsteady state flow field and the characteristics of the flow-induced noise according to the application of the sweptback tip winglets and 30 % covered shroud in an axial flow fan of an outdoor unit of air conditioner were experimentally and numerically analyzed. To analyze the unsteady flow field, large eddy simulation (LES) reflecting the geometry of complicated outdoor unit was performed; and the LES results were used by simplified Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings (FW-H) equation in order to calculate the noise numerically. As a result, asymmetric flow characteristics inside the outdoor unit by the mount and the shape of blade tip and shroud were found to cause inconsistent movement of the tip leakage vortex, which was revealed to change the characteristics of the flow-induced noise.

        Prediction of the Noise Reduction by Shroud Shape and the Chara Cteristics of Flow-induced Noise Generated in an Axial Flow Fan

        In this study, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and computational aeroacoustics (CAA) were used to reduce the noise of a small axial cooling fan that is widely applied to electronic devices. The noise of an axial cooling fan that was measured in semi-anechoic room was compared with the results obtained from CAA. Three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations were solved for the unsteady flow field simulation. The noise was calculated by using simplified Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings (FW-H) equation. The result of CAA was consistent with one data obtained from the experiment. The results of unsteady flow field presented the noise generation mechanism and that of CAA presented the sound sources. The shape of a shroud was a factor causing one of the major noise sources on the fan surface. The shape modification was made in the inlet of the shroud for noise reduction. The Overall Sound Pressure Level (OASPL) was reduced by 3.7 dB compared to that predicted for Base model.

        모낭기관 배양에서 TNF-α 와 Minoxidil이 모발 성장에 미치는 영향

        N/A Background : The factors that regulate hair follicle growth are still poorly understood. In vitro models may be useful in elucidating some aspects of hair follicle biology. TNF- α is potent inhibitor of hair follicle growth. TNF- α induces the formation of a club-like hair follicle, similar to catagen morphology of the hair bulb. Minoxidil induces generalized hypertrichosis when administered systemically, or localized hair regrowth when applied topically to sites of alopecia. Objective : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of TNF- α and minoxidil on human hair growth using in vitro model. Methods : Healthy human hair follicles without any visible damage were collected, they were cultured in Williams I medium with several combinations of supplements and TNF- α and/or minoxidil were added to the media. The results were evaluated by measuring linear hair fiber growth and hair follicle morphology on light microsocopy and by measuring radioisotope uptake of [methyl-^3H] thymidine of hair follicle. Results : The following results were obtained from this study. 1. TNF-α have inhibitory effect on the rate of linear hair growth in cultured hair follicles. 2. Minoxidil has no stimulatory effect on the rate of linear hair growth and no protective effect on the TNF- α induced growth inhibition in cultured hair follicles. Conclusion : TNF- α has growth-inhibitory effect and minoxidil has no protective effect on the TNF- α induced hair change. (Korean J Dermatol 2003;41(4) : 445~450)
