        투과전자현미경 내 직접 가열 실험에서의 실험적 문제들

        In performing in situ heating transmission electron microscopy (TEM) for materials characterizations, arising concerns such as specimen drifts and unintentional Cu contamination are discussed. In particular, we analysed the thermal and mechanical characteristics of in situ heating holders to estimate thermal drift phenomena. From the experimental results, we suggest an empirical model to describe the thermal drift behavior so that we can design an effective plan for in situ heating experiment. Practical approaches to minimize several hindrances arisen from the experiment are proposed. We believe that our experimental recommendations will be useful for a microscopist fascinated with the powerful potential of in situ heating TEM.

        Overexpression of Zoysia ZjCIGR1 gene confers cold stress resistance to zoysiagrass

        Zoysia japonica Steud. is a warm-season lawn grass popular in Korea and elsewhere. They are cultivated in many places such as river banks, roadside, and play grounds. However, there still is a disadvantage of frequent mowing, and the grass grows poorly under the chilly conditions. To develop a grass variety that circumvents these drawbacks, we cloned the chitininducible gibberellins-responsive1 gene (CIGR1) from zoysiagrass. The full length of the ZjCIGR1 (Zj; Zoysia japonica Steud.) gene was obtained by 5′/3′ RACE PCR and the phylogenetic tree showed that it belonged to the CIGR1-subgroup in the PAT1-group of GRAS protein family. Expression of the ZjCIGR1 in wild-type plants was confirmed in roots, meristems, leaves, and flowers, especially high in the flowers. The transgenic zoysiagrass was confirmed by PCR using gene-specific primers, phosphinothricin-acetyl-transferase (PAT) strip test, and Southern blot analysis. ZjCIGR1-overexpressing plants acquired tolerance to cold stress displaying morphological phenotypes characteristic of stress resistance. In addition, in the transformants, expression of the ZjCIGR1 as well as cold-regulated (COR) gene was increased compared to the wild-type plants under cold stress condition. These results suggest that ZjCIGR1 gene is an important candidate for regulating cold stress resistance.

        전자 빔 조사 민감 물질의 전자회절분석을 위한 Imaging Plate 기술

        전자 빔 조사 민감 물질인 gibbsite (γ-Al(OH)₃)의 전자 빔 조사 상전이 연구에서 전자회절 자료의 기록에 대한 imaging plate 와 필름의 기록 특성을 실험적으로 비교하였다. Imaging plate는 극단적으로 낮은 전자 강도와 높은 전자 강도를 동시 기록하기에 충분한 선형 dynamic range를 갖기 때문에, 매우 낮은 전자조사 조건 (≤0.1 e-/μm²)에서 전자 회절 자료를 기록할 때 필름에 비해 회절 자료의 spatial frequency 범위가 두 배 이상 확장되었다. 심지어 이미 기록 포화된 투과 빔 주위의 신호 정보 레벨을 세분화하는 데에도 훨씬 우수한 분해 성능을 나타내었다. 따라서 본 연구 결과는 imaging plate가 극단적으로 낮은 전자강도 기록이 필요한 전자 빔 조사 민감 물질이나 cryo-biological 시편들의 구조 연구 관점에서 가장 적절한 기록 매체임을 나타낸다. An experimental comparison of the detection properties between imaging plate and film for recording the electron diffraction pattern was carried out on a radiation-sensitive material, an aluminum trihydroxide (gibbsite, γ-Al(OH)₃), through the electron beam irradiation. Because the imaging plate has a wide dynamic range sufficient for recording extremely low- and high-electron intensities, the range of spatial frequency for the diffraction pattern acquired by the imaging plate was extended to two times larger than the range by the film, especially at a low electron dose condition (≤0.1 e-/μm²). It is also demonstrated that the imaging plate showed better resolving power for discriminating fine intensity levels even in saturated transmitted beam. Hence, in the respect of investigating the structures of radiation-sensitive materials and cryobiological specimens, our experimental demonstrations suggest that the imaging plate technique may be a good choice for those studies, which have to use an extremely low electron intensity for recording.

        This paper is study on trajectory property of 6 DOF robot manipulator. This paper used to adaptive control and p-d(proportional-derivated) control for control methods, Simulation robot is stanford 6-dof robot manipulatr of stanford university. Main results obtained through this paper are summarized as followings. At each links, adaptive control has more excellant control than p-d control. At 1-st link, adaptive control and p-d control has a little error at 3.0 second. At 2 nd link, adaptive control and p-d control has a little error than other links without 3-rd link, At 3-rd link, two control methods has a superiority control results than other links with two control methods. At 5-st link, p-d control error is a most great than other links. Therefore, the adaptive control applications for 6-dof robot manipulator has a very excellant capability than applying classical p-d control.

      • 二面交雜에 依한 고추 開化所要日數의 遺傭分析

        This study was performed to obtain the basic informations on days to first flower in red pepper. Eight parent varieties and twenty eight F₁ hybrids from 8X8 half diallel cross were used as the materials, and heterosis, combining ability, the degree and direction of dominance, and heritability were evaluated. The 1% significances in day to first flower were observed among parents and F₁s, and the mean of F₁s was not significantly longer than parents. Positive and negative heterosis and heterobeltiosis were observed. Both average heterosis and heterobeltiosis were negative. General combining ability (GCA) and specific combining ability (SCA) variances were highly significant, and GCA variances were greater than SCA variances. Partial dominance was observed in days to first flower and the direction of dominance was negative excluding Chunan and Saegochu varieties. The number of effective gene was estimated as one, and heritabilities in narrow and broad sense were fairly high.

        In modern industry, the reorganizations of organization and job classification of telecommunication are required for the Advanced Information Society (AIS) which is being accomplished by the entrance of new media, Information Service Noetwork plan for Korean government offices (ISN) and Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN). Accordingly, the demand of competent technician would be increased for performance of the related job. In this paper, educational system of College-Industry-Korea Vocational Training and Management Agency Cooperation for the telecommunication department was studied for the effective education of the specified technician to be engaged in the specified job. The results were as follows. 1. By the establishment of College-Industry-Korean Voctional Training and Management Agency and their linking operation, the gap in their technical level could be narrowed. In addition, the effective improvement for the field practice, the official approval system, the normalization of the special education and the settlement of its related cooperation business with administrative agencies could be advanced promptly. 2. The industry should take the advancement of its technical level by establishing of employ job for the professional course technician of junior college graduates and by hiring of the 2nd class licensed technician for the related job. 3. Telecommunication department should carried out not only the efficient operation of curriculum (Table 13.) and development of teaching materials fur special technical education according to each course , but also the substantiality of field practice. 4. Korea Vocational Training and Management Agency is desired to develope the problems of examination approached to practical technique level of industry and to improve the applicant qualification, examination date and method of practical examination for normalization of technical education in junior college telecommunication department.

      • 3-Joint Planar Type 로봇 매니퓰레이터의 자기동조적응제어에 관한 연구

        This study has parallelogram trajectory tracking of Three Joint Planar type Robot Manipulator. The equation of motion for the three joint planar manipulator are obtained by substituting Lagrange's energy expression into Euler-Lagrange's equation and forming the appropriate derivative. Lagrangian method allows us to obtain the dynamics equations for very complicated systems in the simplest manner possible. SISO model is used for design of the controller. The design of controllers may be considered primary controller for manipulators to track the desired trajectory under ideal conditions and secondary controller to compensates for undesirable deviations of the motion from the trajectory caused by external and internal disturbances. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the efficiency by self-tunning adaptive control and considering a characteristic of control. Through the computer simulation, obtained the following results 1) selt-tunning adaptive control is superior to PD control, 2) During the learning period, the adaptive control algorithm is searching proper estimates and controller gains. After this period, the outputs of the joints start tracking closely the desired valued.

        We have studied on the curriculum to develop the communication department of the inter-related fisheries and marine junior college groups and abridged them as follows. (1) A vessel communication has the special characteristics compared with general communication field and also it has an aim to protect the lives and the property from dangerous navigation. For these reasons we must educate many competent graduates who are versed in business and accustom themselves to necessary knowledge of communication and can be adapted them selves to the advanced communication method, techniques and international information on the communication. (2) Training goal and way of thinking of students were rearranged and the occupational cluster in the electronic-communication field was fractionated to develop the curriculum. Especially regarding operator's duty served the above purpose as a occupational cluster, we analyzed their job in accordance with it. (3) International convention on standards of training certification and watchkeeping for seafarers, 1978 was reflected, also international telecommunication convention was referred so that it might be satisfied with the condition to be observed. (4) Developing the curriculum, we responed and analyzed the questions from scientific world, industrial organizations and graduates and provide their advice and suggestions form consultive committee and reflected them to develop the curriculum

        오스템퍼링한 구상흑연주철(ADI)의 드릴 가공시 경도 및 현미경조직변화에 관한 연구

        This paper was carried out to know the influence of advanced austempered ductile cast iron (ADI) on the tool life and mechanical properties of drilling machinability. For manufactured method of ADI, the spheroidal graphite cast iron were austenized at 900℃ for 1 hour and then austempered for 2 hour at 370℃ in the salt bath. And interrelationship has been investigated between tool life and mechanical characteristics of specimen material on drilling condition when the ordinary and step-feed drilling are carried out to drill holes of specimens. Tensile strength and hardness of ADI decrease and elongation of ADI increases with the increase austempered temperature. It is known that about 2 times of tool life in the case of step-feed decreases compared with ordinary feed due to the high hardness of ADI and hardness ascribed to the fact that retained austenite beame to martensite state due to cutting heat in drilling. Under the constant feed rate 0.1㎜/rev relation between hardness and length of end tip after drilling can be formularized to Hv=788.46L^-0.096 for the cutting speed 6.1m/min.
