This paper deals with the multiple attribute decision making problem when a decision maker incompletely articulates his/her preferences about the attribute weight and alternative value. Furthermore, we consider the attribute tree which is structured hierarchically. Techniques for establishing dominance with linear partial information are proposed in a hierarchically structured attribute tree. The linear additive value function under certainty is used in the model. The incompletely specified information constructs a feasible region of linear constraints and therefore the pairwise dominance relationship between alternatives leads to intractable non-linear programming. Hence, we propose solution techniques to handle this difficulty. Also, to handle the tree structure, we break down the attribute tree into sub-trees. Due to there cursive structure of the solution technique, the optimization results from sub-trees can be utilized in computing the value interval on the topmost attribute. The value intervals computed by the proposed solution techniques can be used to establishing the pairwise dominance relation between alternatives. In this paper, pairwise dominance relation will be represented as strict dominance and weak dominance, which ware already defined in earlier researches.

This paper presents characteristics of a virtual human's navigation using a limited perception-based mapping. Previous approaches to virtual human navigation have used an omniscient perception requiring full layout of a virtual environment in advance. However, these approaches have a limitation on being a fundamental solution for a human-likeness of a virtual human, because behaviors of humans are basically based on their limited perception instead of omniscient perception. In this paper, we integrated Hill's mapping algorithm with a virtual human to experiment virtual human's navigation with the limited perception. This approach does not require full layout of the virtual environment, 360-degree's field of view, and vision through walls. In addition to static objects such as buildings, we consider enemy emergence that can affect an virtual human's navigation. The enemy emergence is used as the variable on the experiment of this present research. As the number of enemies varies, the changes in arrival rate and time taken to reach the goal position were observed. The virtual human navigates by two conditions. One is to take the shortest path to the goal position, and the other is to avoid enemies when the virtual human encounters them. The acquired result indicates that the virtual human's navigation corresponds to a human cognitive process, and thus this research can be a framework for human-likeness of virtual humans.
가상군(Computer-Generated Forces)의 자율지능화 방안 연구

최근 군은 과거 냉전시대와 다른 상황에 능동적으로 대처하고 비용 대비 훈련의 효과를 극대화하기 위한 방안으로 모델링 시뮬레이션 기법에 많은 관심을 보이고 있다. 이 모델링 시뮬레이션을 이용한 훈련이 효과적이기 위해서는 좀 더 사실적인 전장 환경과 전투상황을 모의해야 하는데, 최근에 이를 위해서 컴퓨터상에서 인간 행위와 부대의 집단논리를 표현하는 CGF(Computer Generated Forces)에 대한 기술 개발이 주목받고 있다. 인간 행위를 모델링하는 CGF는 자동화된 병력을 모의함으로써 적군을 모의하거나 미래 전투실험, 새로운 전투개념 개발 등 중요하면서도 다양한 역할을 수행 할 수 있다. 이번 연구에서는 CGF 가상군인의 자율지능화의 방안을 고찰해보고자 한다. 군사시뮬레이션상의 가상군인의 자율지능화의 첫걸음인 과업행위 목록의 적용을 과업행위의 기본요소인 METT+T를 기반으로 그 적용과정을 설명한다. 또한 군사모의 논리는 참 진의 이진값 표현이 외에도 '보유 무기가 충분하면 급속 공격을 빠르게 하라'와 같은 모의 규칙상에서는 군사 전문가에 의해서 결정될 수밖에 없는 '충분하다', '빠르다'와 같은 퍼지 팩트가 존재한다. 이러한 주관성이 가미된 많은 군사모의 논리를 완벽히 표현하기 위해서는 퍼지 추론을 이용하는 것이 효과적인데, 이를 이번 소부대 전투 시뮬레이션에 적용하여 보다 사실적인 모의가 가능하도록 하였다. Modeling and Simulation(M&S) technology gets an attention from various parts such as industry and military. Especially, military uses the technology to cope with a different situation from the one in the Cold War and maximize the effect of training against the cost in the new environment. In order for the training based on M&S technology to be effective, the situations of a battlefield and a combat must be more realistically simulated. For this, a technique development on Computer-Generated Forces(CGF) which represents a unit's simulation logic and a human's simulated behaviors is focused. The CGF simulating a human's behaviors can be used in representing an enemy force, experimenting behaviors in a future war, and developing a new combat idea. This paper describes a methodology to accomplish Computer-Generated Forces' autonomous intelligence. It explains the process of applying a task behavior list based on the METT+T element onto CGFs. On the other hand, in the domain knowledge of military field manual, fuzzy facts such as "fast" and "sufficient" whose real values should be decided by domain experts can be easily found. In order to efficiently implement military simulation logics involved with such subjectivity, using a fuzzy inference methodology can be effective. In this study, a fuzzy inference methodology is also applied.

Recently, the level of uncertainty in R&D investment for an enterprise has increased due to technological development and industrial changes. Accordingly it is necessary for an enterprise to forecast the future or foresight the future technologies. But, the fact that the methodology used in predicting future technology is suitable for large project makes enterprise difficult to forecast the future technologies or trends. Thus, this study seeks for available methodology for future technology foresight from enterprise standpoint. The methodology proposed in this research is based on the scenario model, especially focused on the customer needs and future society change.

Gonad and blood samples were taken from cultured greenlin (Hexagrammos otakii), and changes of steroid hormone levels in serum were examined in relation to the gonadosomatic index (GSI). GSI of female and male were not changed significantly between March and August, and then began to increase from September showing the highest value in January. Hepatosomatic index (HSI) of female was the highest in December, then decreased gradually until May. Estradiol-17β (E₂) level in blood of female reached to the highest level in December, then decreased rapidly in January. The level was maintained low until August, and started to increase in September. Testosterone (T) level in blood of female was similar to trend of E₂ in female. 17α20β-dihydroxy-4-pregnen-3-one (17α20β-OHP) level in blood of female reached to the maximum in January, and then decreased rapidly from February and maintained low until July. T level in blood of male reached to the highest value in December, and it started to decrease from January and maintained low until July, after then increased again, while 17α20β-OHP level of male was similar to trend of female`s.
전력 수요 예측 관련 의사결정에 있어서 기온예보의 정보 가치 분석

It is the most important sucess factor for the electricity generation industry to minimize operations cost of surplus electricity generation through accurate demand forecasts. Temperature forecast is a significant input variable, because power demand is mainly linked to the air temperature. This study estimates the information value of the temperature forecast by analyzing the relationship between electricity load and daily air temperature in Korea. Firstly, several characteristics was analyzed by using a population-weighted temperature index, which was transformed from the daily data of the maximum, minimum and mean temperature for the year of 2005 to 2007. A neural network-based load forecaster was derived on the basis of the temperature index. The neural network then was used to evaluate the performance of load forecasts for various types of temperature forecasts (i.e., persistence forecast and perfect forecast) as well as the actual forecast provided by KMA(Korea Meteorological Administration). Finally, the result of the sensitivity analysis indicates that a 0.1℃ improvement in forecast accuracy is worth about $11 million per year.

The introduction and application of IT(Information Technology) to a company has become to be viewed as a key factor for the business competitiveness and improved productivity. This study presents an approach to evaluation of a company's informatization level, which is especially appropriate for small and medium enterprises. The proposed evaluation method, based on the traditional questionnaire approaches, considers the various characteristics of the company, e.g., types of business, characteristics of customers, and locations of supply chains etc. A web-based system was developed to enable users to obtain the evaluation results from the evaluation method. The system also provides a function to produce valuable strategies for informatization by utilizing the case base which will be cumulated by repetitive evaluation requests. Finally, a real case was analyzed in order to verify the practicality of the evaluation system.
